Terrance Williams, a 27-year-old father of four, disappeared in Naples, Florida, on January 12, 2004, after his car broke down and he was last seen with Collier County Sheriff's Deputy Steven Calkins. Calkins claimed to have dropped Williams off at a Circle K, but no evidence supports this, and similar discrepancies arose when Calkins was connected to the disappearance of Felipe Santos, an undocumented immigrant, three months earlier under nearly identical circumstances. Both men were last seen alive in Calkins' custody, and despite failed polygraph tests and inconsistent statements, no criminal charges have been filed against him. Terrance's mother, Marcia Williams, has fought tirelessly to keep the case in the public eye, but nearly two decades later, both cases remain unsolved. Marathon world record holder Ruth Chepngetich has been banned for three years by the AIU following her admission to an Anti-Doping Rule Violation regarding the presence and use of Hydrochlorothiazide, a banned diuretic and masking agent in doping. The announcement from the AIU was made public on Thursday morning.Chepngetich broke the women's marathon world record in 2:09:56 at the 2024 Chicago Marathon. She is the 2019 World Champion and three-time winner of the Chicago Marathon.The AIU shared that Chepngetich was tested 15 times out of competition and four times in competition in 2024. After she broke the world record, the AIU tested her more as she prepared to race the 2025 London Marathon. What. A. Day. Uganda's Jacob Kiplimo and Ethiopia's Hawi Feysa unleashed two of the fastest marathons in history in Sunday's Chicago Marathon. Kiplimo's 2:02:23 makes him the seventh-fastest man ever and he did it in only his second career marathon. “Probably 20, hopefully 24 miles, I'm working with people. But then somewhere between the last 10K and the last two miles, it's going to be a race with whoever is around me. You never know how these races play out, but hopefully I'm going to see people in front of me, I'm going to catch them…and place as high as I can. That's how I see this race playing out: I'm in a pack for 18 to 20 or 24 miles and after that I'm hawking down people.”My recurring guest is back – Conner Mantz is back before he takes on one of the longest-standing marks in American distance running: Khalid Khannouchi's 2:05:38 American record in the marathon. Episode 110 Sara Gail Ebersole 26 year old Sara Gail Ebersole vanished on March 2nd,  2023, after hanging out with, and interacting with a group of people in Reddick, FL.  Just after 10PM that night, she texted her sister Michele Tullis to let her know that she was getting into a random truck with some cowboys. She was seen on surveillance video at the Circle K store in the 17900 block of North Highway 441, getting into a black pickup truck with two males.  At some point after this, witnesses claim to have seen Sara leave a subdivided residence in the 18000 block of North U.S. Highway 441 in Reddick. According to the three witnesses, Sara left the house between 3:00 and 5:00 a.m. in a newer model blue Hyundai sedan, driven by a Hispanic male in his mid-thirties with long dark hair and a thin build. Sara was never seen again. In March 2024, a year after Sara disappeared, investigators announced Tyrone D. Morman was a person of interest in her case and that they had determined she had left with Morman on the night she was last seen. According to Sara's sister Michele, Sara did not know Mormon.  In this episode, Michele Tullis discusses her sister's disappearance, and some of the roadblocks she's faced trying to get answers.  Sara is described as a White female standing 5'1, and weighing 120 pounds. She has Blonde hair and Blue eyes. Sara has a tattoo on her right hip of a Kokopelli, a fertility symbol shown as a humpbacked flute player. Cooper Lutkenhaus, the 16-year-old high school star who shattered his own U.S. 800m high school record and broke the 800m U18 world record with a 1:42.27 runner-up finish at last month's U.S. Outdoor Track and Field Championships, has opted to forego all of his remaining high school and collegiate eligibility to turn professional and sign a contract with Nike. The decision comes before he is set to race the 800m at the World Championships in Tokyo next month and makes history as the youngest American ever to represent the U.S. at a World Championship.“I'm just super excited and blessed for the opportunity,” Lutkenhaus tells CITIUS MAG. “To be able to run professionally at such a young age is not very common, so to be represented by the best brand is very exciting.”Lutkenhaus will remain enrolled at Northwest High School in Texas, where he's beginning his junior year. My guest for today's episode is Olympic silver medalist Kenneth Rooks. However, he hasn't quite looked like that this entire season. It left many wondering if last year's Olympic silver medalists had slipped from his form. But back at Hayward Field just a couple weeks ago in his element, Rooks gave the answer. “It was just a matter of showing up and putting out whatever I had that day – and fair enough, that was my day! I don't know how it happened. I didn't expect to win. Nobody knew I was there, nobody was thinking about me. Even after the Rabat [Diamond League], I was shocked by myself!”A few months ago, Jonah Koech wasn't even supposed to be in the race. His Diamond League debut was meant to be an 800m in Rabat until a late field change bumped him out. The backup plan was to race the 1500m, an event where his personal best was 3:37.But that night in Morocco, Koech ran the race of his life, moving from 13th to 1st over the final lap, dropping a six second personal best of 3:31 and delivering one of the most improbable victories in Diamond League history. And if Rabat was the warning shot, then Eugene was the exclamation point at the U.S. Championships in just his seventh career 1500m as a pro.Koech closed in 12.49 seconds for the final 100m, nearly all of it in lane two, to win in a U.S. championship record of 3:30.17. In the 1500m, the margin between heartbreak and a ticket to the World Championships can be a lean, a lunge, or a fraction of a second. For Emily, it was the last 100m at Hayward Field, stride for stride with her former training partner Heather McLean, both fighting for the third and final spot to Tokyo. Mackay pulled ahead in that final stretch and stopped the clock at 4:04.38 for third place behind Nikki Hiltz and Sinclaire Johnson and secured her place on Team USA for Tokyo.It's been less than a year since Mackay qualified for her first Olympics — a breakout 2024 season that saw her win World Indoor bronze in Glasgow in the 1500.
