Ep. 879 - To players, to fans; yes, numbers matter. Specifically, jersey numbers. On Wednesday, the Cardinals' seven-player draft class received their first jersey numbers. Craig Grialou and Zach Gershman discuss what numbers stood out, like Cody Simon being issued No. 50; does this mean he'll be in the middle of the defense as an inside linebacker? And how cool is it that Will Johnson will wear ‘0' as an outside cornerback? There are other numbers to mention; Calais Campbell (93) and Dalvin Tomlinson (94) will continue to sport the digits they've worn their entire pro careers; Josh Sweat (10) and Baron Browning (5) are changing their numbers; while Jacoby Brissett (7) will wear a familiar number to Cardinals fans.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Tek & Prem discuss the incoming 2025 Eagles, with two likely defensive starters added in the 1st two rounds of the NFL Draft, Campbell from 'Bama and Mukuba from Texas. Both players figure to be key contributors in the coming seasons, a true Super Bowl window for the Birds. Howie and the front office made timely trades to jump around the draft order, and added a solid DT from Nebraska, Ty Robinson. With the losses of Williams, Sweat, and Gardner-Johnson in free agency, these are all logical picks, and also picks made from value spots in the Draft. Vic Fangio's system is phenomenal with the right pieces in place, and this haul reinforced the roster nicely on the defensive side of the ball. The Phillies have stumbled after a nice start and are floating around .500, one game over. With the season still only in April, there is no need to panic. Ep. 863 - It started with Josh Sweat. It continued with Dalvin Tomlinson. And let's not forget about the return of Baron Browning. The Cardinals made the defensive front a priority this offseason. And for good reason, based on last season. Craig Grialou and Paul Calvisi discuss the investment the team has made at both defensive line and outside linebacker. That dovetails into a conversation about what to do with the 16th pick. Might the Cardinals bypass the defensive front with their first-round draft pick? Look to select a cornerback? What about an offensive lineman? The guys have fun with the latest round of mock drafts, because it is after all a Mock Draft Monday.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 708 - Cardinals play-by-play voice Dave Pasch joins Paul Calvisi and Ron Wolfley to talk about several recent additions to the team via free agency including former Browns defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson and former Eagles pass rusher Josh Sweat. Ep. 862 - Yes, Josh Sweat and Dalvin Tomlinson are the two big-name free-agent additions. There was a third defensive player who received a multi-year contract from the Cardinals early in free agency and his name is Akeem Davis-Gaither, or ADG. He's someone who took advantage of an opportunity late last season with the Cincinnati Bengals, and he hopes to do the same here in Arizona. Craig Grialou and Zach Gershman hear from ADG, who sat down with Zach in the TV studio. Zach also had the chance to interview Sweat, Tomlinson and Jacoby Brissett while they were in town; parts of those conversations are played on the show as we get to know the new names and the new faces on the team.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
As Paul Calvisi seeks Josh Sweat quote clarity and Dani Sureck returns from a week's hiatus, the two jump in with Darren Urban as the trio get to the additions on the Cardinals' defensive line and the improvements made there, how Josh Sweat and Dalvin Tomlinson might impact the direction of the team's first-round pick, the quest for guards, Mack Wilson Sr.'s role-to-be, how Darius Robinson could find a way to echo Braden Fiske, a Getting Cultured segment, what the Cards would do if they had a high pick, a lack of first-round trades, Winning Behavior and workouts nobody in their right mind would want.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
After nearly a week of free agency, the Arizona Cardinals roster looks different, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Craig Grialou, Paul Calvisi and Rob Fredrickson talk about the arrivals of front seven players like Josh Sweat and Dalvin Tomlinson and how they immediately improve the defense; the signing of QB Jacoby Brissett and the importance of having a veteran backup at the position. Plus, discussions about the middle linebacker position as well as Kyler Murray learning more about his heritage during a recent trip to South Korea.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Patience pays off, as the Eagles have filled the Josh Sweat-sized hole in their edge rotation with the addition of Azeez Ojulari on a one-year deal reportedly worth just $4 million. The 2021 second-round pick will be just 25 this offseason and brings real juice to a rotation that could use the help. Fran Duffy, Zach Berman and Bo Wulf react to the signing.
Ep. 860 - Don't let the big smile fool you, Bird Gang. Dalvin Tomlinson is here to be a “disruptive” force on the line of scrimmage as he told both Craig Grialou and Paul Calvisi following his introductory press conference on Friday. At 6-foot-3 and 325 pounds, the Cardinals new defensive lineman, yes, is a rather imposing figure. Tomlinson joined Craig and Paul in studio to talk about his “whirlwind” week; why he signed with the Cardinals; his pairing with Josh Sweat; and what he hopes to teach a young Darius Robinson. Also, Craig and Paul discuss the other two signings: quarterback Jacoby Brissett and wide receiver Simi Fehoko, the reported addition of offensive lineman Jake Curhan, what other roster moves might be next, and perhaps the biggest news of the week: Marvin Harrison Jr. jerseys are now available.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 707 - One of the Cardinals biggest needs heading into free agency was a dominant pass rusher. They checked that box with the signing of former Eagles linebacker Josh Sweat. Paul Calvisi sits down with Sweat to discuss why he chose Arizona, his productive history with head coach Jonathan Gannon and defensive coordinator Nick Rallis, goals for 2025 and beyond and why he likes to build computers in his spare time. Plus, Calvisi and Craig Grialou are joined by former Cardinals QB Drew Stanton to talk about the reported additions of QB Jacoby Brissett and DL Dalvin Tomlinson, why an interior pass rush is so hard to handle and much more.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Eagles' defense will look a lot different next season after defensive tackle Milton Williams, defensive end Josh Sweat, cornerback Isaiah Rodgers Sr., and linebacker Oren Burks signed with new teams during the "legal tampering" period of free agency. The Eagles also traded safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the Houston Texans. No-Huddle Show co-hosts Chris Franklin, Bob Brookover, and Cayden Steele discuss the departures and whether the younger players on the roster can fill in and duplicate the team's Super Bowl season. The trio also discusses the arrival of offensive lineman Kenyon Green and the chances of right guard Mekhi Becton re-signing with the team. Learn more about your ad choices. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you won the Super Bowl. But how about signing a player, Howie? We joke, but as C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Milton Williams, Josh Sweat, Isaiah Rodgers and Oren Burks have flown the coop, the Eagles have only imported Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Kenyon Green and still have holes at cornerback, safety and along the edge, to say nothing of the offensive line and Dallas Goedert's uncertain status.Join Zach Berman and Bo Wulf as they try to make this the best year yet.
