Welcoming Christine Lane otherwise known as my holistic midwife / my holistic menopause coach! Christine starts off telling us her background how she originally got into nursing , she lived in England for many years and when she came back to Ireland she found it a bit tough to settle into the medical system which led her to opening up her own business my holistic midwife. Christines goal is to help each and every client prepare for what's ahead of them in regards to pregnancy and menopause. Of course we can't control what will happen or know exactly what will happen but we can prepapre for these things which will help us in the future. Christine is not only a nurse/midwife for 20+ years but she has done a menopause course. What does Holistic mean : the best approach for the individual , a holistic approach is person centred. We break this podcast into 3 sections The first section we spoke about is : all things periods. Period pains, why are some months worse than others? Are period pains normal? Should I feel this low coming up to my period? Christine refers to professor John Studd who is a professor of Gynaecology if you have interest in this topic he has loads of articles on his website. What is PMS? It is the really awful feeling before your period we ALL know it too well but PMDD is more severe than this and you may not even know you have it. It is very poorly understood and it absolutely needs treatment to feel better, your psychological symptoms are a lot more severe than PMS. Does this sound like you? Have you been feeling depressed and really anxious around your period? Is it only coming up to your period and during? Are you fine again? Then maybe you have PMDD. ENJOY!!! Part 2 will be coming next week which will focus more on pregnancy , post natal depression and menopause.

This episode talk about one of my FAVE topics, money. We've covered the topic of money and abundance on the show before, but this week I brought on financial coach Christine Lane (Mind over Money) to talk us through the more practical aspects of money. I love Christine's approach because she utilises both her masters in psychology and her years of work in the corporate financial world to offer an insight into how we can shift our relationship with finances and cultivate a positive relationship with money - yes, even including the spreadsheets! She also has a deep understanding of the universe and the energetic aspects of money, which is such perfect. Her approach is amazing, and I have no doubt every abundant babe will take value from this episode. Check out Christine on Facebook or over on her website.
