This week we have Corey Ellis with Conviction Game calls on to talk with us and have a good time!!
As 2021 starts and everyone starts making new goals for the year, we all have to assess what we really want in life in order to set those goals. What if you are unsure about what your real WHY in life is. Corey talks about being 46 and not being fully sure what he wants to be when "he grows up". He gets overwhelmed with thinking about the bigger picture of what he thinks he should want or have and doesn't settle in enough to just take small steps to the bigger goal. We discuss how to set those small goals and the roadblocks that can get in the way in our own heads. We will be checking back in with him in 3 and 6 months to see how many small goals he set have been met instead of only focusing on the 1 year goal. Please subscribe to our channel and hit the like button below this video. We will release a video at the end of every week! Check out our past interviews for some amazing stories! This aims to tackle the global issue of food insecurity head-on. Corey and his co-founder have even showcased GROWCER on CBC’s Dragon’s Den, an experience which we discuss later in the episode. Corey was also the former president of Enactus uOttawa and has been an entrepreneur as long as I’ve known him.
