Right, come on Hadoke, do some new series stuff were you don't have the comfort blanket of 50 years of acquired trivia. Fortunately this edition's special guest - columnist and writer Jonn Elledge - is smart and interesting so will make up for any of you host's many deficiencies as they look at John Simm in disguise, Mondassian Cybermen, and a big bloody hole in Bill. In a bit of exciting timey-wimeyness the episode starts with Jonn from the future plugging his new book, A History of the World in 47 Borders, which is out now. Burn baby Burn, it's a Roman inferno. So will Josh Snares manage to shoot host Hadoke down in flames or will he be on fire as he storms to victory? You can probably guess but you never know - especially as Josh has kindly left clues as to the kind of choices they are making regarding this story. There's lots of love for the Hartnell era as this one guffaws to its end - and its a timely release, with Toby recording his contribution during the story's 58th anniversary and the release of the Season 2 box set on Blu-ray. A chat with Nigel Peever, who appeared in Filthy Rich & Catflap's episode 3 'Supermarket Scene' as an extra and plenty more besides! Nigel played a pallbearer to Alan B'Stard (Rik Mayall) in The New Statesman plus gave a big thumbs-up to Rimmer (Chris Barrie) in the very first episode of Red Dwarf. We chat about his experiences as a supporting artist and an actor, often straying into Doctor Who fan territory. You can find Nigel on Twitter @NigelPeever or at his website https://www.nigelpeever.co.uk/ Come and join in the Catflappo action on Facebook for cool exclusive stuff and updates on releases
Joel has the opportunity to catch up with Diggory Hadoke, author, shooter, and firearms and hunting advocate. Diggory has written several notable titles focused on vintage British sporting arms including hammer guns, vintage guns, and the British boxlock. Diggory works at vintageguns.co.uk and is an absolute wealth of knowledge when it comes to the history and development of modern cartridge arms. The conversation focuses on the history and development of sporting arms from around 1850 through the turn of the century and beyond. If you have ever had an interest in early cartridge arms development and the rich history that is intertwined with British firearms do not miss Episode 36.
BREAKING NEWS KLAXON! Everything old is new again as only a week after the introduction of Ncuti Gatwa as the new Doctor, the BBC and Russell T Davies have announced the return of David Tennant and Catherine Tate to the show in a series of specials that…could be pretty much anything, given Mr. Davies' proclivity for mystery. What are the Three Who Rule's take on this stunner of an update? You can probably guess from our previous rantings and/or praise, but tune in anyway! All of this is not to overshadow a corker of an interview with Who expert, actor, podcaster and Friend Of The Show Toby Hadoke, along with news of tat, annuals, Big Finish goings-on, and the Timelash! So please, if you will, Allons-y! Ross is joined by the wonderful Toby Hadoke to talk Quatermass and of course some Doctor Who. As with most GMW conversations there is infomation and tangents. We hope you had as much fun listening as we had talking. https://tobyhadoke.com @TobyHadoke @HadokePodcast
And so the first Doctor Who story comes to a close - but will this be the first time that you r host, Tim y Hadoke, manages to guess more than half of his guest's favourite things? He's been doing pretty well so far. He wouldn't muck it up at this stage, having come so far ... would he? Well, we're not going to tell you, as we would rather end this on a cliffhanger - after all, that's what they did in the old days.
Relax, Hadoke has entered the fray - this was the first Doctor Who episode broadcast during your host's lifetime. Perhaps his mum had it on whilst rocking him to sleep? He wouldn't have nodded off during this though, as it is great fun, and special guest Tom Salinsky will have no trouble coming up with a host of favourite things this week: but will Toby - like Hal the Archer - hit the target?
Back again with a companion piece to last week's chat with Chris Chapman. I plucked up the courage to ask, Toby was extremely kind to say yes, so here's a conversation with Toby Hadoke about his experience in front of the camera on the extra films for the Doctor Who DVD and Blu-ray series. Toby discusses the background to his involvement in the range, and we talk about Living With Levene, Looking for Peter, Hadoke vs HAVOC, Treasures Lost and Found, A Weekend With Waterhouse, The Doctor Who Cookbook Revisited and Looking For Lennie. Toby also mentions a documentary from the upcoming Season 14 set, Whose Doctor Who Revisited. We also get to hear about the genesis of Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf and many other tales. He's warm and funny and it's a tonic for these troubled times. Please like or share our podcast with people who will enjoy it. You can rate us directly on Apple Podcasts or Podchaser.com The opening music is Three Guitars Mood 2 and, yes, that is Richard playing the ukulele and kazoo on possibly the worst ever version of the Doctor Who theme tune at the end.
Toby's back and it's about time! Mr Hadoke returns with some more interviews as part of a rash 2013 challenge to speak to someone involved with every Doctor Who TV story! In the process he's built up a fascinating library of discussions about the creation of film and TV and how it's changed over the years...

Day Two of Gallifrey One 2014! We ring in this auspicious occasion with the august personage of Dominic Glynn, musician extraordinaire and composer of what many (well...us, anyway) consider the best arrangement of the classic opening theme. And we continue with the Lovely Person Agenda with the presence of author and bon vivant Rob Shearman and comedian, actor and 60s BBC barman Toby Hadoke, who performed his one-man show "My Stepson Stole my Sonic Screwdriver" here at Gallifrey One only last night! But instead of covering that fine event, we spend 20-odd minutes berating the pair of them for not publishing Volume Two of Running Through Corridors. That's Radio Free Skaro, all class. Check out the show notes at http://www.radiofreeskaro.com
It's that time of year again, everyone! Gallifrey One celebrates its 25th edition at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott, and once again, the Three Who Rule were proud and honoured to kick off the convention with a live show recorded on the main stage. Radio Free Skaro: Gallifrey Stands featured guests Colin Baker, Terrance Dicks, David Banks, Stuart Milligan, and Toby Hadoke, and launched the weekend in style. Enjoy the live episode, enjoy the opening movie sequence (YouTube link will soon be available!), and enjoy another weekend of fun and frivolity at Gallifrey One! Our second entry in our Producer era Miniscopes sees us tackle the John Wiles era, a controversial six months in Doctor Who's long history that ushered in great changes and foreshadowed a great many more. Joining us to discuss the finer points of this tumultuous time is Toby Hadoke, and we also bring you an interview with Peter Purves, who played Steven Taylor throughout the Wiles era. Before that, Simon Harries drops by to discuss the news of the week with Steven and Warren. A jam packed episode, to be sure! Check out the show notes at http://www.radiofreeskaro.com
And thus begins the calm before the storm for Radio Free Skaro. One week before the Three Who Rule jet off to Sacramento to participate in Westercon 66, after which weeks of blockbuster episodes from commentaries to Miniscopes will take you all the way to the 50th Anniversary Special, the Three let there hair down, invite a couple friends over, and have a bit of fun and frivolity. First, Kyle Anderson of Nerdist and Doctor Who: The Writers Room fame drops by after far too long to talk about the news of the week in Doctor Who, and Toby Hadoke also drops by to tell everyone how his fabulous Who's Round podcast is coming along, what's in store in the weeks to come, and how can help Toby in his epic quest to gather a production anecdote from every single televised Doctor Who story. So sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy yourself with us! Check out the show notes at http://www.radiofreeskaro.com
And here we are at Season 11 where the Third Doctor rides off into the sunset, but not before introducing my favorite companion of all time, Sarah Jane Smith in the form of the fantastic Elisabeth Sladen. Joining me in this discussion is comedian and fellow Doctor Who lover (not to mention actor, writer, commentary moderator, and Doctor Who documentary extraordinaire) Toby Hadoke! Come join us as we talk about the great Jon Pertwee's last season. Check out Toby's podcast Who's Round: http://www.bigfinish.com/ranges/released/toby-hadoke-s-who-s-round Feedback at: thequestisthequest@yahoo.com
Trailers! Trailers! So many trailers for the Snowmen, the upcoming Doctor Who Xmas special! Well, alright…there were two new trailers. But they are amping up the enthusiasm of the Three Who Rule for this year's Yuletide offering, which is surely a good thing after the slim pickings of 2011's The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe. Another good thing is the interview from Chicago TARDIS with Toby Hadoke, a friend of the show, gentleman actor and all around great fella. Bask in his wisdom and delight in his wit! Immediately!
