Verborgen Impact is impact die er zeker is, maar die niet zichtbaar is als je gebruikt. Deze week is Nawfal al Jeburi één van onze impactmakers. In deze aflevering van Happy Times Radio heeft hij het met Maartje Bregman over zijn reis naar impact maken, die niet verliep zoals je zou denken.Hij ging op zoek naar geluk in de materiële welvaart, het grote geld. Met een penthouse en een dikke auto voor de deur, bleek het nooit genoeg te zijn. Zijn leven veranderde radicaal en nu staat hij voor de klas, waar hij met kinderen in gesprek gaat over de duistere kant van de kledingindustrie. Maar hij laat bovenal zien hoe het wél op een eerlijke manier kan. Als docent op een middelbare school heeft hij een duidelijke missie: zijn leerlingen bewustmaken van de extreme gevolgen van de mode- en kledingindustrie. Deze week is Annemarije Tillema één van onze impactmakers. In deze aflevering van Happy Times Radio schuift ze aan bij Maartje Bregman om meer te vertellen over de THINK NOW Foundation.Jongeren zijn niet alleen de toekomst, ze máken ook de toekomst: dat is de visie van Annemarije. Vanuit die mindset richtte ze de THINK NOW Foundation op, waarmee ze jongeren tussen de 12 en 18 jaar motiveert om het gesprek over duurzaamheid, weerbaarheid en samenleven te voeren. Door ze aan te sporen om onderwerpen als duurzaamheid vaker in de klas te bespreken, hoopt Annemarije ze centraal te zetten in de dialoog over de toekomst. Daarnaast vertelt Annemarije over de documentaire die ze namens deze stichting heeft gemaakt: De Klimaatgeneraal en de Jongeren. Deze week is Marcel Bamberg onze special guest. Deze week is Léon Polman onze impactmaker. In deze aflevering van Happy Times Radio heeft hij het met Tessel Zandstra over een enorme uitdaging die hij in september is aangegaan.Als oprichter van Green Side maakte Léon al impact door notitieboekjes van oud papier te verkopen, maar hij wilde graag met andere impactmakers in contact komen. Daarom heeft hij een maand lang iedere dag een kop koffie gedronken met een andere impactondernemer om te leren hoe zij impact centraal stellen in hun bedrijfsvoering. In totaal reisde Léon ongeveer 4.000 kilometer om inspirerende gesprekken te voeren met ondernemers die duurzaamheid en impact hoog in het vaandel hebben zitten.Hij reisde door het hele land, kwam diverse initiatieven tegen en heeft een hoop geleerd. A story which has seen its popualrity fluctuate over the years - from being absolutely slated by early fandom when it came out to then being acknowledged as a true classic, it seems to have settled into a more modest position these days.
