This episode is a teaser/introduction to our new part-timer, Shaml. A few real-life things have happened, but we wanted to continue to provide some content during the drought. While the conversation flows all over the place, the laughter is genuine, and we take/give the jokes with all due offense. Check back in a few days for the full episode. We cover in this podcast fish and spaghetti, if protein types matter, and much more before we bring the teaser to a close.
If you're on social media, you may have seen photodumps, where people put pics together in a collage or a carousel. In the photodump we can see a snapshot of an event or a theme or maybe some memories of days gone by. They're quite often showcasing the relationships they have. Relationships are a big deal to us. Classmates, work colleagues, acquaintances, friends… and then this thing called family. Sometimes it's easy to forget how valuable our family relationships are. Some of them we didn't choose, and some we did… but they're meant to be for life, so we definitely want them to be healthy and thriving. So, what does a thriving family look like? What should the photodump really look like?

Here's the deal. Having more discipline doesn't have to be a complicated hurdle. It doesn't have to be a big deal and it doesn't have to make you hate your life. You -- yes, even you, who has all of these big dreams but feels that the discipline required to reach those dreams is way too hard to master -- can become a more disciplined person as soon as tomorrow. Take away the gimmicks, the cultural norms of what we think discipline means, and the preconceived ideas you have about yourself and your ability to be disciplined. Let's talk about it. I'm CALLING OUT the so-called "body positivity" movement, which started with great intentions and has beautiful roots, but has become a breeding ground for toxic ideals that are extremely unhealthy. This culture of body positivity has moved in a direction where people are now encouraged to embrace excess fat on their bodies and, if they desire to lose excess fat, they are shamed. As a personal trainer, I'm concerned. Let's have this tough conversation. I know I'm opening up myself to some ridicule in this episode, but I'm more concerned about my beautiful listeners' long-term health and happiness than I am concerned about earning brownie points for my personal ego. ‘Tis the season. An episode inspired by Mr. Christmas (music) himself, Michael Bublé. I've heard this song a million times, but was opening some unexpected gifts from my Instafam while it was playing, and I got ALL the feels and knew it had to become a podcast episode. Give. Doesn't have to be money. And […] The post MOTM #267: The MOAR You Give the MOAR You Have appeared first on The Movement Maestro.

A picture paints a thousand words; but it doesn't always tell the right story! This week, Ps Tony kicks off our new series, Instafam - life without filters. As beautiful as family life can be, no family is picture perfect but the good news is that God is not looking for perfect families, He's looking for real families! Why do we decide to pursue paths that we are not passionate about? Why do people chase money instead of fulfillment? Why do we have midlife crises? Why are so many adults today so unhappy -- many not even realizing what they are missing out on? This is something that I almost fell into myself, and it terrifies me how close I came. In fact, this is one reason why I started the Unlimited podcast in the first place. Overcoming the push of society and following my personal pull was a big step in my life. It brought me closer to God, my spouse, and myself, and it made my life way. More. Fun. I want to drop a lot of truth bombs about what I learned, and I want to pass this onto you. I hope it helps, but be prepared for some hard truths. The good news: You can follow the pull any time, no matter how old you are or how deep you are in the push. P.S. I hope you feel in this episode how much I truly love and care about you, and how much I want you to love your own life. Thanks for being here, my friend. It’s okay not to be okay; it’s just not okay to stay there.
It’s just a phase...so don’t miss it.
When God wanted to help the dysfunctional family called the “human race” it required the intervention of His Son.

The August First Five Episode 8.0 (The Unsigned Countdown) Written by: Jason Roeseke Featured bands: An Atlas to Advance @bverderber, Cotard Dilusion @cotarddlusion_portugal, My Hands in Chains @myhandsinchains, Supernaut72 @supernaut72, Zapruder Point @zapruderpoint Welcome fans, bands, lovers, haters, and copycats. This is "The Unsigned Countdown" this, for those new to the show is "The First Five" and of course it's August. Stay tuned all month, every Monday for even more fun and action. Since our season has begun we have featured plenty of great unsigned and Independent Metal, Rock, Punk, and Alternative Bands, Musicians, and Artists. We have offered our free platform to hundreds more, and we stream each featured song across the globe and into car stereos, phones, tablets, smart T.V sPC s and more using the Stitcher smart radio app, free to download, and a great way to keep up to date with everything Coundown, now even without a WiFi or cellular connection. Of course we can also be enjoyed at www.jarcodes.com, iTunes, Soundcloud, and beyond. You can help us support these worthy musicians by following us on Twitter @Jarcodes, By liking us on Facebook @Jarcodes, by becoming part of our 13,000 strong Instafam on Instagram @Jarcodes, or by adding us to your circles on Google+ @Jarcodes. Finally come learn more about some of our favorite featured bands, exclusive unedited and uncensored content on YouTube yep @Jarcodes Our first submission is a heavy band that you may want to keep an eye on. Supernaut72 combines a slow groove with heavy tones, to create a unique style that will be fun to see develop. Soon after we move on to a newer artist, but one full of very interesting ideas. Cotard Dilusion may still be learning but the concepts being developed are something you must here to believe. Like an excited kid with new toys, this musician seems to be packing tracks with everything and will soon master his craft and explode onto the independent scene. My Hands In Chains is up afterwards and brought a controversial tune that is like a brain infection. This was a track that never stopped moving on our judges lists and while ranked here in the First Five will most definitely rank in your rotation much higher. For me it was like listening to heavy metal underwater, and you can here more about how each judge felt next week in our "Underground Recap Sessions". Moving on tto a submission that will make you smile. Not while banging your head, but while bobbing it. Zapruder Point brings a fun bar song to the Countdown, and along with its simplicity comes some great lyrics, and a comfortable feel. Finally wrapping up our August First Five with a is what has been called a departure from the Metal we've been used to. An Atlas to Advance ends the show with perfect production, an grand epic feel, and more. Tony was heard saying " It made me wear a sweater, glasses I didn't need, hug my teddy bear, and cry" if music is made to cause emotional reactions, this track nail it. Thanks for listening to our First Five of August. Please support these and every band we've featured by following the links and telling them that you're a new fan because you discovered them on "The Unsigned Countdown".
