Today, we're discussing the recent controversy surrounding Shiloh Hendrix, who called a black child a racial slur at a playground instead of taking the concern to the child's parents. This behavior is not only unacceptable—it's unchristian. As followers of Christ, we are called to be above reproach (1 Timothy 3:2), especially when dealing with the next generation. God will not judge us by our skin color, so why are we so quick to judge others by theirs? We can simultaneously be aware of the statistics about certain cultures within particular races, and realize that this is not how we handle those problems. We'll explore the biblical approach to conflict resolution. When there's a problem with a child's behavior, the godly route is to speak directly with their parents—not to attack the child. Christians must hold one another accountable. --https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee

In this episode, we explore how tuning into your inner wisdom and core values can be your greatest guide in parenting and co-parenting — especially during times of conflict or stress. When emotions run high, it's easy to react rather than respond. But by reconnecting with your deeper sense of self and what truly matters, you can parent from a place of clarity, confidence, and calm. We'll discuss practical ways to cultivate self-trust, regulate your nervous system, and make decisions that align with your values, even in challenging situations. Whether you're co-parenting after divorce or navigating everyday parenting struggles, this episode will help you stay grounded and lead with intention. Key takeaways to help you stay grounded and intentional: Your Inner Wisdom is Your Greatest Guide – The answers are already within you. Pause and ask, What kind of parent do I want to be in this moment? Regulation Before Reaction – A dysregulated nervous system leads to reactive parenting. Breathe, ground yourself, and respond from clarity instead of stress. Values Over Ego – Parenting challenges can trigger fear or the need to "win." Shift your focus to love, patience, and wisdom rather than control. Detach from Drama, Focus on What You Can Control – You can't change your co-parent's behavior, but you can control your own energy and responses. Emotional Independence is Key – Your child thrives when you model emotional stability. Their well-being is shaped by your regulation, not external circumstances. Decision-Making from Integrity – When making parenting choices, ask: * Does this align with my core values? * Will this serve my child's emotional well-being in the long run? Repair Over Perfection – You won't always get it right, and that's okay. Model repair by taking responsibility, apologizing if needed, and reconnecting with love. Parenting is not about getting it perfect — it's about showing up with intention, emotional steadiness, and trust in yourself. Which of these resonates with you the most? I am always here to help you get clarity on the next step in your life, whether that is making a big relationship change, shifting your parenting, or determining what support you need. Today, I'm talking about something so many of us navigate—co-parenting. As a parent, one of the greatest joys in life is watching your child grow and thrive. But when you're co-parenting, that journey can come with its own set of challenges—and powerful opportunities. Co-parenting, when done right, offers a sense of stability and continuity for your child. It allows both parents to remain active and meaningful influences in their child's life. But here's the key: it takes open and honest communication, a willingness to compromise, and a commitment to find common ground—even when it's hard. Remember, your child is always watching and learning from your actions. What you model now becomes the foundation for how they'll handle relationships in their own lives. Want to dive deeper?

The Solid Family | Parenting With Purpose by Pursuit Church
The nuclear family is the backbone of a strong society—without it, we will crumble. In this episode, we're talking about Elon Musk's latest love child with Ashley St. Clair and why Conservatives cannot fall into the trap of normalizing single motherhood and reckless men who create broken families. Strong individuals come from strong families. When the family unit collapses, people become weak, directionless, and ultimately easier for the government to exploit. The more broken the home, the more dependent the individual. And guess who loves that? The people in power who want control over your life. So, we are talking biblical gender roles, marriage, family, and why morals will always matter—even if they stop mattering to everyone else. A father's leadership and a mother's nurturing aren't interchangeable, and no amount of modern delusion will change that. Children need both a mother and a father in the home. And no, morals don't change for you once you're rich. Wh*re culture needs to die because the next generation is at stake.--https://policecoffee.com/?srsltid=AfmBOooc599VmOCGa3oE2DnVcJ4uLA69XDoBZf8ChiOpFqVfKc_BASiR

On this week's episode of Sense, by Meg Faure, we delve into parenting with purpose for the New Year. Meg Faure and guest Tove Gant explore how small, compassionate changes can transform parenting in 2025. Together, they offer strategies for creating intentional parenting resolutions that prioritize both self-care and connection with children. This episode is a must-listen for parents looking to thrive, not just survive, in the year ahead. Moving from Resolutions to Intentions Meg and Tove discuss the pressure traditional resolutions create for parents. They advocate for replacing resolutions with flexible, compassionate intentions. Intentions focus on achievable goals while acknowledging life's unpredictability. This shift fosters a more forgiving and empowering mindset for parents. The Four Buckets of Intentions Meg introduces four key areas for parenting intentions in 2025: Self-Care and Mindfulness: Parents are encouraged to schedule one act of self-care weekly to recharge and avoid burnout. Fostering Connection with Children: Intentional activities, such as reading together or prioritizing screen-free car rides, strengthen parent-child bonds. Positive and Patient Mindset: Techniques like speaking “low and slow” during stressful moments help parents model calm behavior. Healthy Boundaries and Routines: Establishing consistent routines, such as family dinners or limiting screen time, creates structure for children. Embracing Imperfection and Repairing Relationships The hosts emphasize that perfect parenting is unattainable. Instead, they highlight the value of repairing relationships when mistakes occur. Parents should aim for "good enough" parenting, as it builds resilience and teaches valuable life skills. Strengthening Partnerships A strong partnership between parents benefits the entire family. Meg shares practical ways to prioritize time with a partner, from shared hobbies to meaningful communication strategies. This episode inspires parents to approach the New Year with purpose and compassion. Listeners will gain practical tools to set achievable parenting intentions and strengthen family connections. Tune in to discover how small changes can lead to a more joyful and intentional parenting journey in 2025.
