In view of the numerous health problems Americans have that are related to sexual issues, I need to take a respectful and scholarly approach to discuss: sex, orgasms, and improving whole health through healthier sexual relations. Many of the topics today are taboo for some because of social beliefs or absolute embarrassment, but again, I'm sharing some insights and some of my reading research to help people understand what lies under so many health issues from weight loss to movement constrictions to mental health and more--and it's about sex--or the absence of it altogether. Take what works for you; discard what does not apply...and take care of yourself too. Here are the books I recommended at the end of the show:"Ending Female Pain: A Woman's Manual; The Ultimate Self-Help Guide for Women Suffering from Chronic Pelvic and Sexual Pain" by Isa Herrera, MSPT, CSCS (2009)"Women's Anatomy of Arousal" by Sheri Winston, CNM, RN, BSN, LMT (2017)"Tantric Intimacy" by Katrina Bos (2017)"Sandstone Seduction: Rivers and Lovers, Canyons and Friends" by Katie Lee (2004)"Maps to Ecstasy: teachings of an urban shaman" by Gabrielle Roth (1989)*"Sensual Orchids" photo by Ron Jones

This is my second conversation with Katrina! In our first chat we didn't delve into the other area of expertise that Katrina has written about - the Divine Union of the Masculine and Feminine. In this chat we explore the delicate dance between the masculine and feminine energies that exist in relationships, in society and within ourselves. It is an endlessly interesting journey to understand and quite the challenge to throw off our deeply ingrained preconceptions of these tow opposing and complementary energies that have been drilled into us by our culture. Understanding the true nature of what these energies hold can be the answer to more fulfilling relationships and to understanding our own energies more deeply. For the video of this episode, go to https://brucechalmer.com/tantra-katrina-bos/. When people hear “tantra,” at least in Western cultures, they usually think about techniques for mind-blowing sex. Our guest in this episode, Katrina Bos, does teach about tantric approaches to sex, but she recognizes that tantra is a spiritual path for living life in all its aspects, not just the sexual. Katrina points out that our seven words, “Be kind, don't panic, and have faith,” map very well onto the ideas of tantra. And besides that, she explains her book title, You Don't Have to Eat the Eyeballs! Katrina's website is https://www.katrinabos.ca/. Do you have ideas for topics or guests for our podcast? On this week's episode of IMPACT, host Meghan Walker explores the intersection of sexuality and inner wisdom with guests Katrina Bos and Susan Bratton. Together they discuss how embracing your passion and authenticity can lead to greater success in all areas of your life. Sexuality is an integral part of our lives. It fuels our bodies, businesses, and creativity. Susan Bratton, an expert on how to reclaim our relationship with out own sexuality, emphasizes the importance of slowing down and planning dates for lovemaking and erotic play in order to achieve sexual fulfillment, especially as we age and may experience challenges like vaginal lubrication issues, loss of sensation, and incontinence. Bratton believes that by embracing and prioritizing our sexuality, we can tap into a deeper level of passion, creativity and focus. Renowned author, Katrina Bos, reminds us that the only thing of value we have is time, and not to waste it. She advises trusting in a greater consciousness and not letting our brains make all the decisions, and encourages finding a spiritual foundation and redefining one's life according to one's own truth. Bos believes that by embracing our inner wisdom and authenticity, we can create a more harmonious and radiant life, not just for ourselves, but for those around us. With insights from both Bratton and Bos, this week's episode of IMPACT is sure to inspire and empower women to reclaim their sexuality and tap into their inner wisdom in order to live a more fulfilling and authentic life.
