The Thessalonians were a church of “irresistible influence” because they were a church of “irresistible leadership.” A Kingdom leader's mission is to make disciples who make disciples, which means everyone is called to be someone's leader. THE MARKS OF AN EFFECTIVE KINGDOM LEADER… 1 Thessalonians 3:1-2 says… “Therefore, when we could no longer endure it, we thought it good to be left in Athens alone, and sent Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow laborer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you and encourage you concerning your faith…” KINGDOM LEADERS EMPOWER OTHERS! The Apostle Paul EMPOWERED TIMOTHY, a younger man who would lead the second generation in the early Church. Paul knew that a MULTIPLYING MOVEMENT demands multiplying leaders. There is no movement apart from multiplication. Paul DEVELOPED and DEPLOYED deployed Timothy to minister through him, not merely to him. Paul had discipled Timothy, who was now being sent to disciple the Thessalonians. KINGDOM LEADERS LOVE OTHERS! You cannot lead people you don't love. You can be their boss, manager, dictator, or teacher. But you cannot be their leader. Paul was more concerned with how the Thessalonians were doing than what they were doing. He was willing to SUFFER with them and SACRIFICE for them. If you're not “bleeding,” you're not really leading because you're not really loving. Loving others requires sacrifice. KINGDOM LEADERS SUBMIT TO OTHERS! Kingdom leaders SUBMIT to others. You will never be a great or godly leader apart from HUMILITY and SUBMISSION to AUTHORITY. You will never be an effective leader if you are not an effective FOLLOWER. KINGDOM LEADERS ARE THANKFUL FOR OTHERS! Kingdom leaders don't see people as “human resources” but as human beings. Kingdom Leaders Three brave women teach us about leadership in the kingdom of God.

In this week's episode, Chris speaks with Danny Ciamarra, Executive Director of Kingdom Learners, an organization that awakens the hearts of believers in Christ through various organized tools and resources. Danny emphasizes the importance of humility, perseverance, and grit when going through challenging moments, and reminds us to always look for the light at the end of the tunnel. Danny has worked as a teacher, consultant, and a coach in the past. He takes what he learned from those experiences to offer free religious and life management courses, home churches, and daily prayers. Kingdom Learners emphasizes the importance of community through conversation. With established home churches, people can pray together during the weekdays, share their struggles and thoughts, and be able to provide comfort to one another in a more intimate setting. Danny, having struggled with drug and alcohol abuse, is able to now teach what he learned throughout his own life to others struggling with similar issues today. Danny explains that there is always something to be grateful for, even in some of the hardest situations. Always staying focused on the positive side of things will determine how a specific situation will play out. Danny's passion for uplifting his community through Church is easily apparent, and he is eager to help as many people as he can through Kingdom Leaders. As a husband, father, and son, Danny knows he must continuously work on himself and those around him to maintain balanced relationships.
