New Generation Declassified for this week looks at Matt Borne’s portrayal of Doink The Clown. Doink as a whole is universally looked at as more of a comedic character, but in its original conception was a deranged and somewhat psychotic bad guy. For this discussion, Chad welcomes Kris Pavone (FKA Caylen Croft) to discuss the psychology behind this style of character, memories of “Borne’s Doink”, best moments and how the evil clown could be viewed by the modern eye.
This week's New Generation Declassified explores part 2 in the House Show Memories series and takes from New York / New Jersey to Youngstown, Ohio with former WWE Superstar Kris Pavone (FKA Caylen Croft). Before becoming a pro wrestler, young Kris dreamed of jumping in between the ropes and performing in arenas all around the world. Little did he know he would end up in his hometown venue, the Beeghly Center. We go back and look at some of the cards he saw live as well as get the story of the night he wrestled in front of family, friends and his childhood idol the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels.

Being a Dad is a joy but it's hard work. There are a handful of Dad traits I think that apply directly to running a business. In today's episode, we explore a handful of these traits: being patient, resourceful, emotionally fit, coachable, and communicating effectively. Our kids sometimes test our patience; but so do clients and team members. Sometimes, we run short on this resource because maybe we are not organized, or are not clear on our own time management. Carving out blocks of time and reworking our own organizational system may reduce stress, and hence increase patience when dealing with both child and business. An entrepreneur is born to be resourceful typically. No one can ever have all the resources she needs, but we can be resourceFUL. Making things work and using what you've got are age-old edicts but they ring true. Fathering children also takes a lot of emotional energy. Being emotionally fit may be the next craze. With super busy lives, ew are constantly on the move, and trying to launch that next product. Hence, emotions run hot. How do we manage our emotions? Everyone needs a coach. As I mention in this episode, I recently got some coaching from my good friend Kris Pavone (www.krispavone.com) No one is exempt. We all need a tune up and have someone objective call out our blind spots. And being a Dad can certainly hone in our communication skills. When our kids are small, we talked to them in "baby" language or in ways that are simple and clear. We don't talk "baby" to our team members or clients. But, there's a lesson. Writing and speaking clearly with logical and coherent thoughts remain coveted skills. Think about all the times that an email did not sound clear to you. Exactly! We hope you enjoy this episode. Email me at johnny@divinepreneursetfree.com with your thoughts on the Big Box retailer issue! Blessings, #shiuyaright

Recently, my friend, Kris Pavone, joined the Next Level Mastermind and introduced himself to the group in our discussion forum. In the introduction, he wrote that… “I am a podcaster and success coach. I help men between the ages of 30-50 who feel frustrated, stuck, and are ready to change, gain clarity and take action so they can live the life of their dreams!” One of the ladies in our group responded by saying… “I've been listening to your podcast and even though I don't fit your demographic, I always enjoy them!” Shortly after that post, another one of the ladies in the group wrote… ” I agree with Tammy. I jumped on and listened to your podcast and felt right at home. I have to admit that I'm still struggling a bit with the idea of narrowing my target audience. I trust those who tell me I should but it seems so…limiting. Yet, listening to your podcast I didn't have that experience. (I'm obviously still pondering… Thanks for the great example!” I felt compelled to add my thoughts on narrowing your target audience and I related it to a story of when I was being taught archery at a summer camp that I attended as a child. This was the first time I'd ever thought to use archery as and example for teaching about the value of having a narrow target (focus) for your audience and how this does not “LIMIT” you from reaching others who do not fit that exact description. I decided that it would be a perfect topic for a podcast episode and that is how this week's episode came to be. I have other podcasts that might be of interest to you.
