In this upcoming issue of The Comic Section Podcast, we start by paying our respects to former WWE star Sid Eudy, best known as Sycho Sid, who sadly passed away at 63 years old after a battle with cancer. Sid was a powerhouse in the wrestling world throughout the 1990s, with career highlights including WrestleMania main events against legends like Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker. Sid's legacy includes capturing the WWF Championship twice and adding the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and WCW United States Championship to his accolades. The episode will also delve into the latest news, starting with the exciting launch of GameStop Retro stores across the United States, offering a nostalgic trip back to the golden age of gaming with titles for classic consoles like NES, SNES, GameCube, PS1, and many more. Lionsgate is now hoping to recover some of the losses through digital rentals and purchases. Listeners will get an exclusive look at the first footage of *The Thing* from *The Fantastic Four: First Steps*, which has revealed an entirely practical version of the character, sparking excitement among fans. In a thrilling development, Sigourney Weaver has confirmed her role in the upcoming *Mandalorian* movie, where she'll join Mando and Grogu for an epic journey through the galaxy. Weaver shared her excitement about meeting Grogu for the first time, adding even more anticipation for the film. In our "Coming Soon/Preview" segment, we'll give you a sneak peek at trailers from *Sonic The Hedgehog 3*, *Terminator Zero*, and *Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story*. Finally, in the review segment, Ant and Rigel team up to share their thoughts on *Alien: Romulus*. Tune in for an episode filled with tributes, news, and reviews that you won't want to miss!

The Stevie Richards Show returns with a brand new show starring Stevie Richards himself, but it's the first proper episode of the show after episode 1 somehow only ended up talking about news stories! The Stevie Richards Show episode 2 features The WWF/WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA and ROH veteran doing some deep dives on the true nature of what WWE's “downside guarantee” contracts truly mean, what you can and cannot do while under a WWE contract, payment for injuries and more. Elsewhere, Stevie breaks down exactly what he earned in WWE and how much he ended up spending while on the road with WWE on hotels, rental cars, food, drink, hotels and more. How much money was Stevie left with at the end of the year? Mr Richards reveals all, with a little help from the trusty whiteboard. Speaking of whiteboards, episode 2 of The Stevie Richards show features not one, but two segments on the whiteboard this week, with a return to the wrestling analysis as Stevie re-examined the Bret Hart vs Goldberg StarrCade 1999 match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. The kick that Goldberg landed on Bret would give him a concussion that would see Bret eventually hang up his boots and retire a couple of weeks later, but we also look at various head trauma Bret suffered before and after the kick and Stevie asks the question: Did the kick solely end Bret Hart's career? Is Goldberg truly at fault? Are they just a pair of marks who can't let go of the past? That might be a bit strong, but it's an excellent deep dive. Stevie also tackles Kevin Nash's complaining about CM Punk taking time off to rehab his torn triceps (again) - is Nash complaining because he's bitter or because he hates CM Punk? And to top it off, Stevie looks at the world's WORST babyface who, thankfully, has finally turned heel. But before she did, Stevie takes a look at some of the pretty mean spirited stuff she said in recent interviews and wonders how she was ever thought of as a babyface in the first place! Stevie Richards surprised, entertained and informed the wrestling world in 2023 when he debuted the Stevie Richards' Wrestling Analysis YouTube channel to widespread critical acclaim. Combining his experience in the wrestling profession with his keen eye for detail and a passion for teaching fans and workers alike, Richards achieved over 100,000 YouTube subscribers in a matter of months with his short form videos explaining exactly what went right or wrong in a particular match or manoeuvre. With 30+ years working for nearly every major American promotion during their hottest periods (ECW, WCW, WWE, TNA), Stevie Richards is not only dusting off his patented whiteboard and marker to once again break down the psychology and physicality of this crazy business, but Stevie is now adding to his repertoire by debuting a weekly show, imaginatively titled The Stevie Richards Show. The "show" in The Stevie Richards Show is the key word - this will not be another run of the mill podcast recorded on Zoom, clipped up and posted 8 times a day on YouTube and featuring a disinterested ex pro wrestler out to make a quick buck. What makes The Stevie Richards Show a "show" will be the attention to detail given to every episode, including added on screen annotations, factoids, images and video and 4K camera set up to give the sharpest, best looking, broadcast quality videos on YouTube. Most importantly of all, The Stevie Richards Show's output will be about quality, not quantity. Every Friday, Stevie Richards and co-host James Romero (WSI | Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Story Time with Dutch Mantell) will discuss the latest news, delve deep into the wrestling profession with more detail and first hand experience than any other podcast, answer fan submitted questions and, yes, break out the whiteboard to break down the what went right, or wrong, in the wrestling world. The Stevie Richards Show debuts on YouTube and all podcast platforms on Friday, June 28th. YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/@StevieRichardsShow

WCW 1999 was a crazy time, especially at the end of the year when Vince Russo came in. This episode of Monday Nitro features the debut of Seven. This has everything you could want: a cool entrance, lots of pyro, a crazy look, and of course a work shoot promo. Dustin Rhodes thinks Goldust sucked and thinks Seven sucks also. One of the most unforgettable segments of all time. Also, WCW is in the midst of a WCW World Heavyweight Championship tournament and quarterfinal matchups take place. Kevin Nash dresses up as the Grand Wizard of wrestling, Bret Hart & Scott Hall wrestle twice, and David Flair stalks Kimberly Page throughout the night. The Main Event features a US Title Texas Tornado Ladder Match. It's as crazy as it sounds. What started as a work for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship between Hulk Hogan and Jeff Jarrett became a shoot after Vince Russo cut a promo at Bash at the Beach. It's the go-home show for Bash at the Beach and Booker T finds himself in the main event against Jeff Jarrett for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and the fans are here for it. The card starts off hot with a 4 Corners match between Lance Storm, Billy Kidman, Rey Misterio Jr. and Disco Inferno (ok, 3/4 of it is hot). The feud between the tag team champions, The Perfect Event, and a production dude named Woody continues on. Jarrett continues to sell his match against Hulk Hogan at Bash at the Beach all by himself. Mike Awesome tries to blind Rick Steiner as the camera crew does nothing. Follow us on Instagram @GetItAgainPodcast Got 2 (or more) words for us? Email us at GetItAgainPodcast@gmail.com
As we approach Bash at the Beach 2000, Hulk Hogan... or is it Hollywood Hogan... maybe it's just Terry, either way, the Hulkster is nowhere to be found. But in his place, again, is his nephew Horace Hogan and this time he's gone full Stone Cold as he tries to take the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from the cho-cho-chosen one Jeff Jarrett. The Cat takes his job very seriously as he booked this Thunder with ratings in mind. Lance Storm wrestles his first ever Thunder match. No one is safe from Positively Kanyon. The feud between the WCW Tag Team Champions, The Perfect Event, and a random production guy named Woody, unfortunately, continues on.
