Neil Maclean is much more than a marketer, he understands the person behind the business is more important and when they are feeling on top of themselves the business follows. I have personally been mentored by Neil so I speak from experience when I say he really does know what he is doing, there is no one size fits all approach to his clients, each one is given a tailored plan that works for and around them. In this episode we talk about business mindset and owning a animal sanctuary, I know you are going to love it, to keep up to date with everything Neil is up to follow the links below: https://www.facebook.com/neil.maclean.397 https://www.instagram.com/neilshoneymac/ https://neilshoney.com/24hourspecials
When you have stories like the ones that Neil MacLean does, you write them down. Neil worked in a variety of correctional institutions during his 25 years as an officer. He shares a few stories in this podcast, but if you want all the dirt you will have to pick up one of his books. Serving Life 25: One guard's story is a collection of stories. Beyond the Gates of Hell is a collection of interviews with inmates and staff. Prison Tales from the West Coast is all about prisons in BC.Neil was so cool to talk to. He has a huge passion for corrections, telling stories, and sharing those stories with others. We asked him if he had ever re-invented himself - you will have to listen to see what kind of wisdom he dished out!You can find out more about Neil and his book at:https://www.facebook.com/Serving-Life-25-One-Guards-Story-1502228986754345
Neil MacLean is a marketing expert. Neil grew up in rural Scotland in a lower-income family. This has given him a sense of gratitude when it comes to business. When he started making money, he felt rich making any amount because of how he grew up. His grandfather was the manager of a fish factory and was the first person to teach him about business. He began selling cereal box toys to kids at school at a young age. Neil started out as a business owner by putting on Scotland’s biggest fitness event. He soon realized that not everyone was as excited about his ideas as he is. He knew he needed to learn marketing skills to succeed in business. Neil gives out his tips for people who are new to business on what they should be doing and mistakes to avoid.
