Another day, another 2017 era clickbait article. Avatar: The Last Airbender was supposedly the first animated series featuring strong female characters. Or something. And it paved the way for Netflix She-Ra. Yeah, forget all the strong female characters in 1980s and 1990s cartoons. Jem who? Sailor Moon, what's that? She-Ra existed BEFORE 2018? Imagine that... Happy Monday *the 3rd * everyone! This podcast episode was pre-recorded, so this morning's Marvel movie title announcements will be discussed on Fridays 16B episode, alongside the Falcon and the Winter Soldier Behind-the-Scenes episode! This week's "A" episode starts off by covering a few of my comic picks from last week, including Silk, Beta Ray Bill, and a few fun others! Then I go straight into this week's Pull List, discussing the notable comics coming out this week, which includes a new Red Sonja series by legendary creators, more America Chavez, some stellar indie comics, and Sensational Wonder Woman--the women-led anthology series celebrating Diana's 80th anniversary! After a brief discussion of the recent 9th episode of Black Lightning's final season, I get to talk about season one of INVINCIBLE on Amazon Prime! The finale aired this past week, so if you don't want spoilers: skip this section! It was a surprising show, based off another infamous Robert Kirkman comic series. I wrap up the Geek TV section with some brief comments on the Netflix She-Ra series, which I watched for the first time this weekend! Last is the news, which includes casting announcements from the HBO Green Lantern project and Titans season three, creator announcements from the Static Shock and Iron Heart projects, and my personal favorite of the bunch, the announcement of a new Sailor Moon movie coming to Netflix June 3rd! I'll be back for episode 16B this Friday, May 7th, to discuss this week's new and noteworthy comic books, the Falcon and the Winter Solider episode of Assembled on Disney+, this morning's MCU title announcements and teases, and any other news or speculation that hits between now and then! I hope to see you back for that next episode, but either way--have empathy towards others, and remain authentically sweaty.

A tiny bit more Red Dead talk; when is Red Dead Online coming out?! Can Superman inseminate Lois with her own Superpowers? We've been watching the new Netflix She-Ra reboot and give our thoughts. Other topics include: Detective Pikachu, Wheel of Time, Horror Movies, and more.
Tonight we talk about a bunch of things starting off with the interesting and also sort of weird experience of watching a movie, and having a live orchestra play the soundtrack. Ash talks about his experiences with the new Spyro the dragon and the practice of modernizing games without really changing the original gameplay. From there we talk about the insanely charming Pokemon Let’s Go game and how it is seemingly way more sticky for a few of us than core Pokemon games. Tam and Kodra talk about how with Diablo 3 on the Switch they finally understand what Grace and Bel see in this game. Grace talks a bit about the new Netflix She-Ra. Bel talks about his disappointment in the newest Hellgate: London steam release. Finally we end up in a lengthy conversation about Fallout 76 multiplayer and how this game does not deserve the grief reviewers have been heaping on it. Topics Discussed: Orchestra Plus a Movie Spyro Pokemon Let’s Go Diablo 3 Switch She-Ra Hellgate: London Fallout 76
