This weekend there are three events scheduled that will heavily feature talents from the National Wrestling Alliance. The meteoric rise of “The Future Legend” Kerry Morton did not happen by accident. His DNA is comprised of blood, sweat, tears, and the NWA. “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Amidst controversy for the National Wrestling Alliance and ownership in flux, 50 Caliber would defeat Mr. USA to become the tenth man to hold the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion of the National Wrestling Alliance, during the Bruce Tharpe era. This match took place on August 12th, 2017, in Dyersburg Tennessee, a mere fifty days before the announcement would be made official that Billy Corgan had purchased the National Wrestling Alliance and would seal all championship histories with the exception. Tim Storm would continue his title run. Later Jazz would continue her recognition as champion. The same opportunity wasn't provided for Barrett Brown. The NWA would showcase the man, who did not lose his title at the 70th Anniversary Show at their 70th Anniversary Show a year later when he defeated Laredo Kid. Many felt that this might lead to more opportunities for Brown. It did not. When POWERRR premiered in 2019, again many thought the opportunities would present themselves to former NWA Champions. This did not happen. And even after the NWA reintroduced the World Junior Heavyweight Championship, no opportunities were made available. Barrett Brown has only ever asked for an opportunity. Those pleas have landed on deaf ears. June 23rd, the Stray Dog finally gets the opportunity that has alluded him. On this day, Brown hopes to regain a title he never lost. This will be the date when Barrett Brown will finally get the attention of the National Wrestling Alliance. Partnered with Jay Bradley, Wrecking Ball Legursky made his Lightning One Era - NWA debut working as a hired gun for Colby Corinio. Quite Literally there to serve the purpose to cause chaos on behalf of Colby. However, Bradley and Legursky didn't actually get their first match until By Any Means Necessary. Not long after their in-ring debuts, Legursky and Bradley found themselves involved in a feud with THE OGK. Ironically, Matt Taven had spent time training with Legursky. After the Crockett Cup came to conclusion - The Fixers began feuding again with the Mortons by way of Colby Corino. However, at the NWA 74th Anniversary on the 2nd Night, the Fixers became the new NWA US Tag Team Champions. They defended the titles a handful of times against Goldrush, the Spectaculors, and the Country Gentlemen, before losing the titles at the NWA Live Event on January 31st 2023. All the while, Wrecking Ball Legursky has continued to be dominant for the North Eastern Sea Board by competing for North Eastern Wrestling, Catalyst Wrestling, GSW, Battle Ground Championship Wrestling, and is set to make his debut for Dangerous Adrenaline Wrestling Gladiators this Thursday Night, February 23rd at an event soon to be announced. On this episode of the Sessions, Jay Cal will speak to the former NWA US Tag Team Champion to discuss his return to the NWA and the opportunities that have been presented to him. We'll also discuss his calendar as many events are coming up for you to see Wrecking Ball Live.

The NWA announced a new championship in its anthology of greatness. A Television Championship Tournament for the ladies of the NWA will kick off soon.
