This episode has it all...they turned Sydney Sweeney's bathwater into soap. I'd still prefer the water into wine trick. We took a deep dive into the badass brilliance of Fannie Lou Hamer. Ee unpack the reason behind why a father took his SON to the prom. I share a first date horror story that made us cancel our dating apps mid-episode. Plus more weird, wild, and "why did I click this?" moments. Bring snacks. Or holy water.************************************MERCH https://professionally-silly.creator-spring.com TEMU https://temu.to/m/uaxgspnpq18 CODE: aab70729“WHEN THE RHYTHM OF THE DRUMBEAT CHANGES”, “COWS AND BUFFALO”, AND “THE MOST IMPORTANT THING DADDY DOES”https://www.fb2binc.com************************************Join this channel to get access to perks!https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEabIsoT5wrN5hRSgY7wnYQ/join MY SOCIAL MEDIAShttps://linktr.ee/Ambersmilesjones************************************FOLLOW DJ HEY COUSIN A.K.A WES ROBERTSLinktreehttps://linktr.ee/by.wesroberts?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAaZAELFlV6vSJw72MSahNTfPtWx-pz1burhX-NxiahrupwwUXIseaxk2AlM_aem_VpOSgl9UU0ug7vvU5nIb0w Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/by.wesroberts?igsh=dHhxdTFsdjEwbjF5&utm_source=qr Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/share/AjX4fBxw6ADbaUKP/? mibextid=LQQJ4d Tiktokhttps://www.tiktok.com/@djheycousin?_t=8pV3EGJB9PX&_r=1 ************************************PARANORMAL BLACKTIVITY PLAYLIST for this channel https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL97hCXP8Z-0IzENkb7loHNyhha4pW1qjWNEW PARANORMAL BLACKTIVITY CHANNEL https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZsX2P3ol_RkCQL2ZCyQzNg************************************Amber “Smiles” JonesPO BOX 533 Lovejoy, GA 30250************************************GET A PERSONALIZED SHOUTOUT TODAY ON CAMEO

The legendary Ian McShane has been acting for more than 60 years, from “The Wild and The Willing,” “The Last of Shelia,” and “Jesus of Nazareth” to “Lovejoy,” “Sexy Beast,” and the “John Wick” films. His two latest films are “Ballerina,” set in the John Wick universe, and and the action comedy “Deep Cover.” On this episode he talks about what made his time as Al Swearengen on “Deadwood” (perhaps his most iconic role) so special, and tells a story about an unforgettable suggestion from creator David Milch. He explains what sets Wick's Chad Stahalski apart as a director/producer, why life experience helps an actor, how a few short words from director Tony Richardson placed him right on track to do his work, and much more. Back To One is the in-depth, no-nonsense, actors-on-acting podcast from Filmmaker Magazine. In each episode, host Peter Rinaldi invites one working actor to do a deep dive into their unique process, psychology, and approach to the craft. Follow Back To One on Instagram

His goal? To truly understand the experience of a crowdfunding investor and leverage that knowledge to help others build wealth ethically and effectively.Paul explained, “I wanted to give investment plans for people without extractive corporations, without exploitations. For me to recommend investments, I really needed to know the industry at the most core level—that of a customer.” Immersing himself in the world of crowdfunding, he sought to experience firsthand the challenges and opportunities that investors face.Through his journey, Paul uncovered a standout takeaway: the power of debt crowdfunding, or as he calls it, “crowdlending.” He shared, “Debt crowdfunding is like the greatest thing that has happened to investing probably ever. From a financial planning standpoint, it's so helpful to have predictable monthly payments.” By crowdfunding amortized loans, investors can benefit from steady repayments of principal and interest, making it easier to plan financially.Paul's passion for crowdlending stems from its accessibility and reliability. “Crowdlending allows the general public to access private credit, an asset class that has been outperforming the stock market since 2008,” he said. For those seeking an alternative to traditional Wall Street investments, crowdlending offers a practical and impactful solution. This year-long experiment also led Paul to create the Crowd Capital Blueprint, a program designed to help compassionate people invest with purpose. The step-by-step system empowers individuals to move their money from exploitative investments to ethical, regenerative ones, while simplifying the process of building wealth with intention.Paul's journey proves that investing isn't just about growing money—it's about aligning finances with values. By embracing the principles of regulation crowdfunding, he's paving the way for a new era of financial activism, one investment at a time.tl;dr:Paul Lovejoy invested in regulation crowdfunding every day for a year to understand the experience. He discovered debt crowdfunding, or “crowdlending,” as a powerful tool for financial planning.Paul shared personal lessons from the 2008 financial crisis, including the importance of ethical investments. He created the Crowd Capital Blueprint to help people build wealth ethically and sustainably.Paul's superpower, healing through forgiveness, inspires others to grow from pain and help others. How to Develop Healing Through Forgiveness As a SuperpowerPaul Lovejoy's superpower is his ability to heal through the power of forgiveness. Reflecting on the shame and pain of being defrauded during the 2008 financial crisis, Paul explained, “The first step into healing is to simply acknowledge your suffering and to give yourself compassion for it.” He emphasized that forgiveness is not about excusing others but about freeing yourself from the burden of resentment. “Resentment is poison for the soul, and forgiveness is the antidote,” he said.In one striking story, Paul described forgiving Doug Swenson, the man who defrauded him and his family of over a million dollars. Paul explained that forgiveness wasn't about excusing Swenson's actions or ignoring accountability. Instead, it was about releasing the pain he carried. “I only was defrauded once, but I had to suffer every time in my mind that I thought about that,” he said. By forgiving Swenson, Paul was able to reclaim his energy and channel it into creating solutions for others through his work.Paul also offered actionable advice for developing forgiveness as a strength:Acknowledge your suffering: Recognize your pain and give yourself compassion to reduce its intensity.Forgive yourself: Treat yourself like a best friend who made a mistake, offering understanding instead of judgment.Visualize others living their best life: Imagine those who wronged you thriving, which helps release resentment.Focus on what you've learned: Use the energy freed by forgiveness to grow and create solutions for others.By following Paul's example and advice, you can make healing through forgiveness a skill. With practice and effort, you could make it a superpower that enables you to do more good in the world.Remember, however, that research into success suggests that building on your own superpowers is more important than creating new ones or overcoming weaknesses. You do you!Guest ProfilePaul Lovejoy (he/him):Principal Advisor, Stakeholder EnterpriseAbout Stakeholder Enterprise: Stakeholder Enterprise stands against a financial system rigged against everyday people, the false belief that wealth and ethics can't coexist, and the predatory tactics that keep people powerless. We are seeking to create a financial landscape where wealth is a tool for justice, a world where anyone can invest without guilt or barriers, and a movement that shifts economic power away from corporations and into the hands of real people.Website: stakeholderenterprise.comBiographical Information: Paul is not your typical financial advisor. He is a licensed financial advisor on a mission to democratize impact investing. After losing everything in the 2008 crash, Paul went inside the belly of the beast - working at a wealth management firm catering to the 1%. What he discovered there shocked him. Now, he's blowing the whistle on Wall Street's dirty secrets and empowering regular people to take control of their financial futures. Adelaide-born and raised Sophie Lovejoy jumped from being a well-paid TV producer into the precarious, fickle world of fashion, when she started out creating and then manufacturing cute boxer shorts to sell in her mum’s homewares store in Norwood, Adelaide. Fast forward a few years and Sophie took the plunge to move herself and her business to Los Angeles. Along the way she had transformed her brand Sant and Abel, into a luxury sleepwear and leisurewear fashion range that caught the eye of celebrities like the Kardashians and TV host Jimmy Fallon, who gave her brand the tick of approval by wearing her PJs, thereby helping catapult Sant and Abel to brand awareness and sales stardom in the biggest, juiciest clothing market in the world, the USA. Hope you enjoy Sophie Lovejoy’s inspiring entrepreneurial story.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Her very first interview was with five-star defensive lineman David Hicks Jr., who is now at Texas A&M, living up to that five-star ranking. Over the past three seasons, she has had the honor of conducting 295 interviews!!!! In the early days, Taylor would pack seven or eight interviews into a single episode—though they were much shorter conversations. As the podcast evolved, she has focused on getting to know each guest in more depth, allowing for longer, more meaningful interviews. With the rise of NIL and the transfer portal reshaping college football, this podcast is more important than ever. It gives players a platform to tell their stories, introduce themselves to coaches, and get their names out there. This has never just been about stats or rankings—it's about getting to know the people that make up Texas HS football. So, thank you for being part of this journey Taylor is beyond grateful for your support, and here's to another 100 episodes!A special milestone needs a special guest so this week we have the legendary Texas Sports Hall of Fame coach and current Lovejoy Leopards Head Coach Todd Dodge!

Love and joy have their own strengths. Love provides strengthening and healing in relationships. It allows people to go beyond themselves and seek out what's best for others. While joy is able to give endurance even through tough seasons in life and can spread positivity to those around us. If there's already so much that can come out of love and joy respectively, imagine how much more when they're combined!Speaker: Ptr. Speaker: Ptr. Love, Joy, Peace Sunday Morning | February 2, 2025 | Speaker: Pastor Tim Cruse
I'm so excited you're here as we step into a brand-new month. And with February now unfolding, I thought—what better way to kick things off than by sharing my personal theme for the year? If you know me, you know I like to think of each year as a book—12 chapters, 365 pages, and each month bringing a new focus. My 2025 book is called Elevate, and this second chapter? It's all about self-love. Now, self-love has been my theme for February for years. It started with the obvious connection—Valentine's Day. But over time, I realized something deeper: to show up fully for the people I love, I have to start by showing up for myself. You can't pour from an empty cup—we've all heard that, but how often do we truly live it? So in today's episode, I want to dive into what I've learned about self-love over the years, the intentions I'm setting for this month, and, most importantly, how we can all fall back in love—with life, with ourselves, and with the possibilities ahead.
In this heartfelt episode, I share my personal journey of loss and reflection following the passing of my father, who chose hospice care at the age of 92. I discuss the challenges my dad faced with bladder and prostate cancer, his decision to enter hospice, and the importance of spending quality time with him during his final days. I reflect on the signs I felt from God guiding me to be with her father, despite my own struggles with a broken foot and car troubles. This episode is a poignant reminder of the significance of family, love, and the journey to find joy amidst grief. --------------------- Check out my NEW Digital Journal!! We're ringing in 2025 with the great Frank Lovejoy in three radio thrillers, including a belated New Year's Eve story. First, he tries to talk an amateur pilot safely down to the ground in "The Long Night" (originally aired on CBS on July 13, 1958). Then, an unusual watch leads him to find a lot of time on his hands in "The Thirty-Second of December" (originally aired on CBS on December 28, 1958). Finally, he's a bank teller with the inside track to steal $100,000 from a safe deposit box in "Death in Box 234" (originally aired on CBS on March 15, 1959). Plus, we'll hear Lovejoy in an episode of his own outstanding radio drama Night Beat - a show known as "The Football Player and the Syndicate" (originally aired on NBC on June 12, 1950).
In this bonus show Gaz chats about Ian McShane and his antiques living character Lovejoy a staple of Sunday night telly back in the 80s and 90s.
