Nina has written a total of 30 movies for Hallmark since 2010. I also just learned from Nina herself that she has three more scripts just put into development. This was directed by Bradley Walsh. He has 44 previous directing credits including many projects for Hallmark. I did want to point out that he has also directed a couple of episode of the series “Sullivan's Crossing” which stars Chad Michael Murray and Scott Patterson (that's Luke from Gilmore Girls) - where season 1 is currently airing on the CW. If you're a GGH listener and watching “Sullivan's Crossing” drop us an email or a DM and let us know if it's something we should be watching. Italia Ricci stars as Avery. Ricci has 27 previous acting credits. Her last film for Hallmark was “Don't Go Breaking My Heart” in 2021, which was also written by Nina Weinman. Her work outside of Hallmark includes a show called “The Imperfects” which is a sci-fi action series now streaming on Netflix. Of course you might also recognize her from the 53 episodes of “Designated Survivor” or as April Carver in “Chasing Life.” Related Podcast Episode: Girls Gone Hallmark reviews "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" with Italia Ricci. In the build-up to the FIFA World Cup 2022, Chris has picked the 2001 mockumentary-style comedy, Mike Bassett: England Manager. Directed by Steve Barron and written by John R. Smith and Rob Sprackling, this stars Ricky Tomlinson, Amanda Redman, Bradley Walsh, Dean Lennox Kelly, and Geoff Bell. If you enjoy the show we have a Patreon, become a supporter. www.patreon.com/thevhsstrikesback Plot Summary: The manager of England's national football unexpectedly succumbs to a heart attack, and suddenly the search is on for a replacement. Most people who seem qualified for the position have the good sense to turn it down, and so the responsibility falls to Mike Bassett, a scruffy and loud-mouthed lout whose claim to football fame is leading a previously undistinguished team to a league championship. Bassett insists that England will win the World Cup under his leadership, but that's before he replaces his star player with a once-gifted footballer who has since developed a drinking problem, and hired a one-time car salesman as his assistant. After stunning losses to Poland and Belgium, Bassett goes from a favorite of both fans and the press to one of the most hated men in England; hoping to whip his team into shape, he subjects them to the high-tech training methods of eccentric Dr. Shoegaarten, which injures more players than it helps. Despite Bassett's ineptitude, England manages to qualify for the World Cup tournament thanks to group opponents Turkey losing their final game, and he flies to Rio with his team in hopes of somehow turning their bad luck around. thevhsstrikesback@gmail.com https://linktr.ee/vhsstrikesback --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/thevhsstrikesback/support

The film features the voices of Woody Allen, Sharon Stone, Jennifer Lopez, Sylvester Stallone, Christopher Walken, Dan Aykroyd, Anne Bancroft, Danny Glover and Gene Hackman. Some of the main characters share facial similarities with the actors who voice them.[10] Antz was the first film from DreamWorks Animation, and the third feature-length computer-animated film after Disney and Pixar's Toy Story (1995) and NDR Filmes's Cassiopeia (1996). During its production, a public feud erupted between DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg, and Steve Jobs and John Lasseter of Pixar, due to the production of their similar film A Bug's Life, which was released a month later. This only worsened when Disney refused to avoid competition with DreamWorks' intended first animated release, The Prince of Egypt (1998). Antz premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 19, 1998,[11] and was released theatrically in the United States on October 2, 1998, by DreamWorks Pictures. It grossed $171.8 million worldwide on a budget of $42–105 million. The film received positive reviews, with critics praising the voice cast, animation, humor, and its appeal towards adults.[12]

Bradley Walsh is a familiar face to many millions of TV viewers, as the host of quiz shows including The Chase and Blankety-Blank, and as an actor in dramas such as Doctor Who and The Larkins. Bradley was born in Watford and after leaving school at 16 he was apprenticed to the local Rolls-Royce factory as a jet engineer. A keen footballer, he signed to Brentford FC when he was 19 but his career was cut short by injury after only two seasons with the club. He dealt with this blow by turning his attention to the entertainment business. He worked as a Pontin's bluecoat and then tried his luck as a stand-up comedian - doing impressions and telling jokes at working men's clubs. In 1986 he turned professional, and his first booking was a stint at the Pavilion Theatre on Cromer Pier. Later he became the support act for performers including Dame Shirley Bassey, Leo Sayer and Sir Tom Jones. In 1997 he hosted the quiz show Wheel of Fortune and three years later got his first acting role in the Channel 4 series Lock Stock….a spin-off from Guy Ritchie's 1998 feature film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. He followed this up with roles in Coronation Street, Law & Order: UK and Doctor Who Bradley released his debut album Chasing Dreams, featuring his interpretations of popular standards, in 2016. In that year it became the biggest-selling debut album by a British artist.
