This ol’ internetty thing has been positively *alive* with Doctor Who rumours over last few weeks. What’s happening with this year’s Christmas edition of our beloved show?! After Ncuti Gatwa’s fleeting incarnation morphed into Billie Piper at the end of The Reality War last year, the BBC shared their post-Disney+ masterplan for Christmas 2026 and beyond. Journey back to October last year to hear our coverage of that news. However, silence has since fallen. Russell T Davies didn’t even mention the special in his recent interview with James O’Brien when discussing his future, and event went as far as to say, he’s “not filming again until next year”! But did he actually mean Doctor Who? IT’S ALL SO CONFUSING! So, Christmas Special, or no Christmas Special?! Join Ashley, Phil and Ian as they try to make sense of it all! Enjoy the show.

Compare takes on the incarnation and his various, if slight, returns! And review his first ever, full cast audio drama Storm Warning. Just reissued by Big Finish Productions for it's own 25th birthday! We're excited to get together and revisit a unique time in the history of Doctor Who, on this edition of Type 40. Can you guess the Who connection before they do?! It won’t be hard….! We’ll be back on Sunday with our review of the Finale to The War Between The Land and the Sea, and then again in just a few days time ON CHRISTMAS DAY – with our own very Christmas Special! The guys then discuss the latest 13th Doctor and Yaz story by Lisa McMullin and Big Finish, Lionesses in Winter. Which to be clear, has nothing to do with the national English women’s soccer team. Enjoy!

Helloooo! Welcome to our first episode in ages without an episode of Doctor Who to review! But fear not, James and Michele have oodles of audio files, letters, emails and Tweets from you all you lovely listeners. Nothing is off the table here, theories are discussed, applauded and rubbished! Although the latter are mainly James'..... WOW! We are still reeling here at DWP headquarters. What was real and what was fiction?! WE STILL HAVE NO IDEA! Join the entire DWP crew (in the Campervan together for the first time EVAH) as James, Michele, Phil, Brent, Drew and Ian try to unpick the concluding instalment of this latest series of good ol' Doctor Who. Audio feedback always gets priority (but keep it under two mins) but you can always get in touch by emailing the Campervan at feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, Tweeting or Xing us, or by jumping on our Facebook Page or Group.
Join Ian, Michele and James for (allegedly) a more considered review of the weekend's new episode of Doctor Who, Wish World. Once Ian and Michele have their say, the team turn their thoughts to the loose-ends and unanswered questions that have accumulated over the last two seasons - yes, it's the return of the Juicy Dangler section not seen on the DWP for many-a season! What did you think of Wish World? As always, we love hearing your views. Get in touch by emailing the Campervan at feedback@thedoctorwhopodcast.com, Tweeting or Xing us, or jump on our Facebook Page or Group. We will be back in Episode 401 to review the season finale, The Reality War. Given the episode itself is dropping on Saturday evening, our review will be online on Monday 2nd June. Enjoy the show!
