One more episode before the season finale, brings us one step closer to a fight between Rick and Negan. However, does Negan have a trick up his sleeve? Listen to our latest podcast episode as we break down the action.
We discuss TWD Ep 715 "Something They Need," & more!
Talking Through Something They Need Something They Need is the penultimate episode of the seventh season and is the one where they finally go to Oceanside. It's also the one where Sasha has to make a decision about her future. And it's also the one where we get a character named Rapey Davey. But, this isn't Friends, it's The Walking Dead where the future is uncertain. Rick and the gang go to Oceanside and take all of their guns, but promise to bring them back. Will they be able to keep this promise? Sasha tells Negan that she will join him but then tells Eugene that she doesn't want to be used to hurt her friends and asks for his help. How will she get out of the situation she has created for herself? Something They Need has left us with many unanswered questions, but will we get all the answers in the finale? Will we get the all-out war that has been promised this season, or will we have to wait until season 8? Will the season finale see all of the groups finally coming together to fight against the Saviors? Ratings were up! Something They Need was able to get a 4.88 in the 18-49 demographic, with 10.543 million viewers, which is from last week‘s 4.72 and 10.318 million viewers. Send in your feedback! If you think you know the answers to any of the burning questions, let us know by leaving us feedback. *NOTE: We say 7x14 in the podcast, but it's episode 7x15! With one episode left until The Walking Dead's season 7 finale, there's a lot to discuss. Though "Something They Need" was a solid episode with lots of strong moments, it seemed at times to just serve as the set up for the big finish. But we're fine with that! We're left with so many questions after watching it — most importantly, when is Carol going to swoop in and save the day? In this podcast, we discuss: -Why Dwight has had one of the best character arcs this season -Whether or not Eugene is still Team Rick -Who is 100% going to die in the season finale -The one scene from "Something They Need" we were disappointed with -Who Negan's "Little Birdy" could be -And how the grand finale will most likely conclude Make sure you tune in each week for a brand new episode of Talking TV With Liz & Lindi, and be sure to check out more of Pure Fandom’s geektastic, original podcasts on PureFandom.com. This episode did the cross-cutting style of writing-editing correctly. The rest of the season did not. The problem is that this episode should have happened 7 episodes ago. It is simply too late for any of this to feel like the second to last episode of the season. Negan is in it... so there's that. He has 1 scene with 3 minutes of screen time. I guess that will have to do... I'll take what I can get at this point.

FEAR ME: The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead & Preacher Podcast
The build up to the finale was a great one! We find our captured Sasha having a series of uncomfortable conversations with #Negan. Brainiac Eugene screws up her 'suicide" attempt. We finally get thrown into the mind game of 'You don't have to be sorry' Not sure how they're going to wrap this up before the season ends, but you can be assured the end is just the beginning. Thanks everyone, as always, for all the support and comments. Remember to continue to write us at fearmepodcast@gmail.com, like us on FB and catch us on twitter @fearmepodcast or use #FearMePod. Next week is going to be good!!!
The back half of season seven of The Walking Dead went by extremely fast; we're already at the penultimate episode! Rick and crew are in git 'er done mode as they arrive in Oceanside to jack all of their guns and ask them to become allies, but only giving them about 45 seconds to decide. We wonder why Michonne, the horrible shot, is sitting in the sniper position when she really should be head negotiator! Meanwhile, at the Sanctuary, Sasha has two meaningful conversations with both Negan and Eugene. We discuss why the one with Negan was the most interesting we've seen him and why the one with Eugene wasn't a surprise at all (to Kia, anyway). We also talk Richonne fan fiction at the top. AFTERBUZZ TV -- Walking Dead edition, is a weekly "after show" for fans of AMC's Walking Dead. In this episode hosts Derrial Christon, John Carle, Susannah Kim, and Ben Bateman discuss episode 15. ABOUT THE WALKING DEAD: The Walking Dead tells the story of life following a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, traveling in search of a safe and secure home. Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman, this gritty drama portrays life in the weeks and months following a zombie apocalypse. Led by police officer Rick Grimes, his family and a group of other survivors find themselves constantly on the move in search of a safe and secure home. But the pressure each day to stay alive sends many in the group to the deepest depths of human cruelty, and Rick discovers that the overwhelming fear of the survivors can be more deadly than the zombies walking among them. This week in Ep 715 "Something they Need", Tara leads the Rick and the gang to the Ocean to meet the ladies with all the guns and we also meet some of the coolest Walkers ever - Barnacle Beach Walkers! Gregory proves even more useless than we thought when he can't manage to kill a Walker and must be saved by pregnant Maggie (#maggie2020). But it doesn't look like he's gonna take her help so graciously, plots of betrayal are hatched. Over at the Savior's compound we find Sasha locked up in Daryl's "Easy Street" cell about to be raped when she is saved by Negan - what! Not so fast, he has plans for her. It seems Eugene also has plans, to stay a total coward. Listen up for all our thoughts and predications for the finale. A decent episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead nevertheless provokes a bunch of questions regarding “Something They Need”. Is Rick’s group really justified in their “take no prisoners, take all guns” approach with Seaside? Has Eugene really turned turncoat? Is Gregory Negan’s “little bird”? Why can’t Grandma McGee pull a gun on somebody proper like? And does Rick know that a man is at his most dangerous when he’s on his knees? Dwight knows. He’s been to the School of Eugene’s Nut Cracker, and shouldn’t be taken lightly when he’s at crotch level. Be careful, Rick, is all we’re saying. Talking Through The Other Side The Other Side, also known as the antepenultimate episode of season 7 of The Walking Dead, was a rather middle of the road episode for the two of us. While it wasn't terrible, it didn't really knock our socks off either. This episode mainly focused on the unlikely–and reckless–pairing of Sasha and Rosita, with a little bit of the Hilltop, sprinkled in for good measure. While we know what it is that motivates them, it's hard to understand why they are making such rash decisions. It also seems unlikely that Sasha will survive her decision. The little bit we got at the Hilltop definitely brought this episode up, and I don't mean Gregory's bootlicking. We both enjoyed the non-verbal cold open as well as the heartfelt scene between Maggie and Daryl. Although it seemed like a long time coming, the moment was just right. We already knew that Maggie didn't blame Daryl, but it was really nice to hear her say it out loud and alleviate some of Daryl's suffering. I am not sure how that scene could have been any better. Questions, Questions, Questions! And now for a few questions! First of all, I would really like someone to tell me why people still follow Gregory. Seriously. What's the deal here? Next, what will Eugene do about his “rescue” attempt? Will he tell on Sasha and Rosita? Also, what is up with Eugene, is he really Negan, or is he running some kind of long con? Has he truly forsaken the friends who took him in and looked after him? Is Eugene really just looking out for number one? Finally, who was the figure with the crossbow at the end of the episode? Did Daryl have enough time to get to the Sanctuary? Could it have been Dwight? If it was Dwight, what will he do to Rosita, assuming he sees her? Get in your feedback! Talking Through The Other Side The Other Side, also known as the antepenultimate episode of season 7 of The Walking Dead, was a rather middle of the road episode for the two of us. While it wasn’t terrible, it didn’t really knock our socks off either. This episode mainly focused on the unlikely–and reckless–pairing of Sasha and Rosita, with a little bit of the Hilltop, sprinkled in for good measure. While we know what it is that motivates them, it’s hard to understand why they are making such rash decisions. It also seems unlikely that Sasha will survive her decision. The little bit we got at the Hilltop definitely brought this episode up, and I don’t mean Gregory’s bootlicking. We both enjoyed the non-verbal cold open as well as the heartfelt scene between Maggie and Daryl. Although it seemed like a long time coming, the moment was just right.
