Sue Pike is a Reiki Master, Animal Communicator, Spirit Channeler and Spiritual Teacher. She's a practicing Reiki Master in the Traditional Usui Method, and teaches Reiki Level 1 through Master Level. She may incorporate the use of crystals and other energy techniques into a Reiki session; as well as channelling messages for the client's highest good, upon request. Sue always brings lightheartedness and a sense of humor to her work. As an Animal Communicator, Sue can simply send and receive messages to and from animals. She can do this with living animals, or with those who've passed into spirit form. Though she loves to work with animals in person, she can do her sessions remotely, from a distance, with the same consistent results. Animals often love to receive Reiki, and Sue will include it in the session, if the animal wishes. Her main mission in life is to give a voice to as many of our animal friends as possible! Sue was seen on Good Day NY, Late Night with Seth Myers and featured in an article in The New York Times, March 2007, for her animal communication work. She does an interview every third Thursday of the month on Eluv's “Ultrasounds” show (88.5FM, Tampa, Fl.), where she gives tips about what our animals love, and how we can connect to them. The show airs from 11pm-1:00am(EST), and Sue goes on around 11:15pm, streaming at: http://www.wmnf.org/programs/335. Should you miss a show, her interviews are archived for a week. Sue Pike website:

Robert Kopecky is an Emmy-nominated art director and the author of "How to Survive Life (and Death)," the story of his three 'near death experiences,' and what he learned from them. He designed the credits for Showtime’s Weeds and he art directs the PBS children’s show Word World. He contributes to Evolver.net, NewBuddhist.com, TheMindfulWord, and Gaia.com, among others. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Sue Pike, the Animal Talker. His journeys - from the remote South Pacific to the capitals of Europe to the deserts of Arizona and the canyons of New York City - were punctuated by three dramatic "Near Death Experiences." Interspersed through a life of professional successes and personal setbacks, and his own "dark nights of the soul," the three NDEs, and the subsequent need for answers, led him to years of study and meditation. Elements of Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Gnostic Christianity, physics, philosophy and more, have contributed to his unique transpersonal realizations about life and death. All of which inspired the calling to write his direct, humorous transformational prose, and to joyfully pass along all the lessons he's learned - obviously the hard way.
