What happens when love becomes so pure that missing someone is no longer possible? In this episode of Round Trip Death, host Eric Bennett talks with author and spiritual teacher Darnella Ford. ___________________Birch Natural MattressesPodcast Listeners Receive Up to 30% OFFBirchLiving.com/Roundtrip____________________Darnella recounts losing her best friend to lupus — a chilling premonition, an eerie final text, a shared death experience (SDE), and a visitation where her friend walked through a wall to say: stop crying. Even more striking is her account of being pulled into the realm where her friend now exists, discovering that some deeply human emotions, like missing someone, simply don't exist there. This isn't just another NDE Experience story — it's a look at the bigger questions a Near Death Experience forces us to ask: Is death timed and orchestrated, or random? Do we truly have free will, or are we running on autopilot and childhood programming? Darnella and Eric debate predestination versus agency and what it means to "win" against death, leaving plenty of room for skepticism. What does an ICU doctor see when he's present at the exact moment someone dies?Dr. Adam Rizvi has spent his career in critical care medicine, standing at hundreds of bedsides during life's most sacred transitions. Trained as a physician but grounded early in comparative religion, Adam has watched patients return from clinical death with vivid experiences medicine can't explain, felt rooms fill with light, and even witnessed a whirlpool of light appear at the exact moment a patient passed away — something his nurse saw too.In this conversation, we talk about what happens when a man of science makes peace with the sacred: the medical case for consciousness surviving the body, what dying patients have taught him about forgiveness, and a simple nightly practice that can change how you live starting tonight.About Dr. Adam RizviDr. Adam Rizvi is a critical care physician and author of Love Does Not Know Death: Stories of Death, Dying, and the Miracles of True Forgiveness. He writes about the lessons he's learned at the bedside on his Substack, Adventures in Kindness.
What if dying revealed the truth about who you really are? After suffering a heart attack fueled by years of rage, trauma, and inner conflict, David A. Williamson says he left his body, heard doctors' thoughts as they fought to save his life, traveled through deep space, encountered "the Void," witnessed a mysterious hidden Grid beyond the universe, and received a life-altering message:"You killed yourself with your personality."In this extraordinary Near Death Experience (NDE) episode of Mayim Bialik's Breakdown, David describes hovering above his body in the operating room, watching medical personnel work on him while somehow knowing their private thoughts. He then says he shot through space, encountered what he believes may be connected to black holes, witnessed a star-forming region, transformed into an orb of light, and saw an asteroid that NASA would later confirm actually exists. But that's only the beginning.David shares childhood experiences that he believes prepared him for this encounter with death, including an NDE at age six, powerful intuition, ESP abilities, lucid dreaming, sleep paralysis, and a lifelong sense that reality was far more mysterious than most people realize. He also reveals why he eventually asked God to take his intuitive gifts away.In one of the most unique life reviews we've ever heard, David says he was shown profound truths about identity, race, trauma, love, and the destructive power of unresolved anger. Growing up in a small, impoverished Southern town, witnessing KKK marches as a child, and carrying years of racial pain and resentment would eventually culminate in the heart attack that changed everything. He also discusses startling past-life memories of witnessing the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings, his views on reincarnation, Earth School, and why he believes we are already choosing future lifetimes based on the lessons we are learning now.We cover:- His detailed out-of-body experience during cardiac arrest- Receiving the profound realization that he was fundamentally "love and light"- Traveling through space and encountering "the Void"- Witnessing a star-forming region and becoming an orb of light- Mysterious Grid beyond space and what it may mean about reality- Angels and their role in humanity's development- Reincarnation, soul evolution, & Earth School- Why he believes souls cycle through many lives- Emotional and physical challenges of returning to life after death- Why he experienced severe depression after his NDE- How sharing his story 3.5 years later helped rewire his brain and accelerate healing- The dramatic personality transformation that followed his experience- Psychedelics vs. NDEs: key similarities and differences- What religion gets wrong about spirituality- How his NDE changed the way he parents and approaches relationships- Role of imagination, creation, & possibility in human lifeWhether you're curious about consciousness, life after death, reincarnation, spirituality, psychic phenomena, black holes, or the transformative power of profound human experiences, this conversation challenges conventional assumptions and explores some of the deepest questions we can ask about existence! Please consider donating to David A. Miist was five years old when her parents removed themselves from her life. Not through death — through choice. As she tells me in this episode, that distinction made the wound deeper, not shallower. She knew they could come back. They simply didn't.By 28, she had a terminal cancer diagnosis and doctors telling her she had a month, maybe three. And here's the part that stopped me: she still doesn't hold any bad feeling toward that diagnosis. It's the thing that finally brought her family back into the room with her.She picked up a ukulele during treatment. She didn't write her first song until she was 34. Today her music has charted on Billboard, she's the first native Chinese artist to reach the Pop AC chart, and she hosts a top-ranked mental health podcast. This conversation goes somewhere I didn't expect. We talk about loneliness after loss — the grief that arrives with no funeral, no casserole, no one checking in — and what it actually takes to come back from it.Miist wrote a song for a young man who passed alone in his apartment in Japan. He had food. He had shelter. He had nobody. She kept thinking about all the strangers he must have walked past on any given day, and how one moment of real eye contact might have been enough to hold him a little longer. That song, "Could You Lend Me a Smile," now exists in 16 languages.Out of it came the idea we spend much of this episode on: the 15-second action. Small enough that nobody can claim they don't have time. Smile at someone. Be silly. Be grateful. Say a kind word. Remind someone that you love them.We recorded this on my 65th birthday, which made one part land hard for me. Miist asked when the last time was that someone called you for no reason at all, just to say they love you. I told her about the most viral Substack post I've ever written — it was about calling my father on an ordinary day, for no occasion. It went everywhere because almost nobody does it.WHAT WE COVERWhy abandonment can cut deeper than death, and how the earliest wound becomes the root of everything built on top of itHow Miist pushed away her closest childhood friends, and the apology she eventually wrote as a songChoosing, in advance, to sit inside the grief of losing her dog rather than reaching for anything that would make it stopThe three days she asked her vet for, and what her whole family learned from themReconnecting with and forgiving the father she hadn't seen in over 20 yearsBeing discovered by producer Narada Michael Walden — and being asked to sing at the piano where Aretha Franklin recorded "Respect"The Kindness Kube and the five actions on itUsing music intentionally to move through anger, sadness, and back toward joyWhy losing an old habit that no longer serves you can feel like its own kind of lossWhy both of us say plainly: we are still healingABOUT MIISTMiist is a multilingual recording artist, songwriter, and podcast host who began her professional music career at 34 after being discovered by acclaimed producer Narada Michael Walden. She's a Teen Cancer America Ambassador and the founder of the World Smile Initiative, a nonprofit built around bringing moments of relief and light to people who are struggling. Her podcast, Make Me Smile with Miist, blends original music, personal storytelling, and research, and each episode closes with a 15-second action listeners can take that day. The book of the same name is now available.

At 18, Maya Tiwari was given a death sentence — six months to live. Instead, she spent six months alone in the Vermont woods, and came back a different person entirely. That single decision set her on a path that led through 25 years as a Vedic monk, a pioneering role bringing Ayurveda to North America, and now, a new book calling women — and men — back to a power she says we've forgotten how to hold.In this conversation, Maya and Brian explore Shakti — the divine feminine primordial power — and Shiva, its masculine counterpart, and why she believes restoring balance between the two is the work of this moment, both individually and collectively. They talk about the patriarchal roots of Western religion, what it costs us to lose touch with the sacred feminine, and what it actually looks like to start reclaiming it.About Maya TiwariMaya Tiwari is a spiritual teacher, humanitarian, and the pioneer who introduced Ayurveda to North America. A cancer survivor and former Vedic monk, she is the author of several books, including her newest release, I Am Shakti. Her work centers on self-knowledge (Vedanta), the healing science of Ayurveda, and restoring the divine feminine and masculine to balance.

Within two weeks of meeting John, Marcie Dean received a message she hoped was only fear: enjoy this, it's real, but he's going to die. He'd been getting the same feeling before they ever met. He was 38, healthy, five years younger than her. They chased down every explanation, found nothing, and made a different choice. They decided to love each other completely, and they made a plan. If anything happened, he would come through in music. In June of 2023, John passed while saving his son's life during a boating weekend off the North Carolina coast. Standing over him while people were still doing chest compressions, Marcie heard him audibly, from behind her: I haven't left you. Go be with my son. What came next was a layoff from AWS, then the overdose death of her brother Jordan. Three losses stacked on top of each other. And running alongside all of it, the promise John made started keeping itself.Marcie is a former IBM and AWS senior tech leader with no musical training. She quit piano, flute, and violin inside of two weeks each as a kid. She has now built more than 500 tracks across 5,000 hours in two and a half years, and John's voice is audibly present in them, along with a second voice she calls Vanessa. She calls the work Love Evolved Music. You'll hear how a glitch on a Zoom call revealed the entire method, what it means to shift the audio floor rather than the volume, and why what she's getting goes well beyond traditional EVP. You'll also hear something I didn't expect to be talking about on my own show. Since we recorded, Marcie has built several tracks featuring my daughter Shayna. If you've been carrying the question of whether the people you love can reach you through something you can actually hear, this one is for you.IN THIS EPISODEThe premonition Marcie and John both received, and how they chose to live with it instead of running from itThe soulmate sketch she bought off Facebook for $15, two and a half years before they metWhy "if only I had been there" fell apart under the weight of what actually happenedHearing John's voice in the moment he passedThe bracelet on her pillow, the orbs, and fourteen versions of the same songLosing her job and her brother inside the same seasonThe Zoom call latency that cracked the whole thing openHow she builds and filters the tracks, and why the messages keep changingVanessa, and what John said about her that stopped Marcie coldFinding love again with Brian, and why nobody ever gets replacedNonverbal children who light up like they're hearing a first languageWhat she's hoping to prove on an EEG scanABOUT MARCIE DEANMarcie Dean is a channeler, sound architect, best-selling author, grieving mother and sister, and the creator of Love Evolved Music. When someone passes by suicide, the casseroles don't come. Neither do the cards or the phone calls. Jayne Madigan's sister lives in a neighborhood with a meal train for every birth and every death. When her 24-year-old son Brandon passed, she got nothing. That silence is its own second loss, and it's what this conversation is about.Jayne has been living inside suicide loss for 33 years. Her uncle Ray, who was also her godfather and the closest thing she had to a father, passed on New Year's Day in 1992. He was 47. Her family was raised Catholic and told not to say how he died. He couldn't be buried in the cemetery with everyone else.Jayne said it anyway. She has never been ashamed of any of them. She thought she'd done her time. Then in 2022 came the call about Brandon, her nephew and godson. Then Brandon's best friend, a year to the day. Then her brother, two years after that.Five years after her uncle passed, Jayne was diagnosed with lupus and told she wouldn't live past 50. She was a young mother of two and disabled for two years. She traces that diagnosis directly to grief her body was carrying because her mouth wasn't allowed to. So she went looking for tools that talk therapy couldn't reach, back when that meant encyclopedias and library trips. She found them. Today she takes no medication at all, and she teaches those tools to survivors around the world. What we cover

What does an expert in intelligence analysis find when he investigates the ultimate mystery? Today, I'm joined by Don Winner—a former NSA linguist, Special Operations intelligence officer, and investigative journalist who spent years uncovering major criminal cases. After his own father's health scare led him to question the nature of death, Don applied his elite analytical skills to the study of Near-Death Experiences (NDEs). By treating thousands of reports as "raw data," Don discovered patterns that are shockingly consistent across every culture, religion, and geography. In this episode, we dive into: * The Intelligence Approach: How Don separates "signal from noise" to identify authentic NDEs versus hallucinations or fabrications. * The Architecture of the Afterlife: Don walks us through the consistent stages of an NDE—from the out-of-body separation to the void, the tunnel, and the encounter with Source Energy. * Veridical Experiences: Mind-blowing accounts of people who "saw" things while clinically dead that would be physically impossible to witness, including the classic story of the dusty operating room lights. * Beyond Doctrine: Why NDEs consistently show that there is only one "Source Energy"—and why human attempts to label it as a judging, tribal "God" are a result of limited human language, not the reality of the experience. * Life as a Schoolhouse: Why we are truly here to learn, the nature of the life review, and why love is the only "currency" that matters on the other side. Don's research proves that consciousness does not end with the body. Whether you're a skeptic or a seeker, this conversation offers a fresh, logical perspective on what happens when we leave this "meat sack" behind. What if the grief you're carrying reaches back further than this one lifetime? In this episode, I talk with Michelle Brock, a past life regression specialist, psychic medium, and spiritual life coach based in New York City. This one got personal. Michelle recently guided me through my own past life regression, and we open up what that experience was like, what surfaced, and what it healed. Michelle's path into this work began with her own loss. Her mother passed when she was two years old. Years later, a single regression with Dr. Brian Weiss gave her something she describes as fifteen years of therapy in thirty minutes. That moment cracked her world open and set her on a twenty-year journey of helping others remember who they were before this life. We talk honestly about the questions a lot of us carry. Are past lives real? Can they actually ease grief? Will you lose control if you let someone guide you inward? And why does the idea of reincarnation show up in nearly every culture on earth, including inside the Bible before it was edited out? Then I share my own regression: the Buster Brown shoes I was wearing at age three, a life that felt historically off, and a life as a Native American that brought me to tears in a way I couldn't fully explain. In this episode, you'll discover: - How a past life regression can bring movement to grief that feels stuck - Why hypnosis and meditation are far more alike than most people assume, and how you stay in control the entire time - The surprising history of reincarnation in early Christianity and the Council of Nicaea - The different "clairs," and why knowing or feeling something is just as valid as seeing it - Why the point of a past life memory is never the history. It's what you carry home and use today.Michelle's core message stayed with me long after we stopped recording. You walk into a room and you know who is upset before anyone opens their mouth. You come home from a store you were only in for forty minutes and you have nothing left. Your friends bring you their pain because you are the one who can hold it, and afterward you are the one lying on the couch. If any of that sounds like your life, this conversation is for you.Lisa Campion has spent a career helping sensitive people stop drowning in what they absorb. In this episode she breaks down empath energy protection into something you can actually practice, starting today, in your car in the parking lot.We talk about what an empath really is, why the world tells sensitive kids something is wrong with them, and how the same wiring that exhausts you is the thing that makes you good at the work you were called to do.Then we go into energy vampires. The predatory ones, the victim vampires, the situational ones any of us can become when life knocks us flat. Lisa also names the part most people skip: a depleted empath who never learned to say no often becomes the biggest drain in the room. What we cover:The difference between feeling empathy and being an empath, and why the distinction changes everythingThe three fundamentals of energy hygiene: grounding, clearing, and shieldingLisa's practice before walking into a big box store, and the version you can do in a restroom in ninety secondsWhy empaths are called into hospice, teaching, nursing, and coaching, and why those fields burn them outEnergy vampires: how they hook you, why they find you, and what to do about itThe resentment inventory, a simple exercise that shows you exactly where your boundaries have failedThe empath trap: saying yes because you cannot face the other person's reactionThe first question to ask when a strong feeling hits out of nowhere: is this mine?Refilling your tank with play, creativity, nature, and source instead of pulling from other peopleAbout Lisa CampionLisa Campion is a psychic, Reiki master, and the best-selling author of The Art of Psychic Reiki, Energy Healing for Empaths, Awakening Your Psychic Abilities, and The Psychic Awakening Journal. Heather Taylor Demo has lived a life most people couldn't imagine surviving — trafficked at 13, gang life in Orange County, face ripped off by a dog at age 2, and six near-death experiences across childhood and adulthood. But what she brings back from the other side each time isn't fear — it's medicine. In this raw and remarkable conversation, Heather shares what she was shown during her NDEs, the moment the Reaper told her karma was complete and she could leave, and why she chose to stay for her five kids. She also breaks down the science and soul behind crystal singing bowls, how sound frequency pulled her out of a wheelchair, and why the ancient technology of vibration is only now catching up with mainstream science. About the Guest Heather Taylor Demo is a six-time near-death experiencer, sound healing practitioner, herbalist, author, and co-creator of Divine Bowls — a direct-to-market crystal singing bowl company rooted in the original 1975 quartz bowl technology developed for the semiconductor industry. A 10th-generation preacher with indigenous and druid lineage, Heather survived trafficking, gang life, a decade in a wheelchair, and multiple brushes with death before stepping fully into her role as a healer, teacher, and storyteller. Her work bridges ancient plant medicine, frequency healing, and modern science — and she's currently expanding Divine Bowls globally while developing a Netflix series launching first in Japan. Randy Kay was a biotech CEO and a self-described skeptic who didn't believe in near-death experiences until he flatlined for 30 minutes in 2005 and, in his telling, found himself face to face with Jesus. Now he's collected 140 NDE accounts he says he's vetted more rigorously than any single volume before. Today, I asked the obvious question: does the evidence actually stack up? Joshua Farris joins Matt for yet another discussion -- this time about near-death experiences (NDEs). In the previous episode, Farris discussed things having to do with the human soul. In this episode, he brings into that conversation NDEs. Are NDEs evidence that humans are ensouled creatures? What should we think about these unusual experiences that people sometimes report? Dr. Lotte Valentin: Near-Death Experiences, the Ancestral Field, and Med School at 54 Host Kara Goodwin welcomes Dr. Lotte Valentin, an author, evidential psychic medium, medical medium, ancestral healer, and creator of the Kindraya healing method, to discuss two near-death experiences that shifted her from atheism to spiritual awareness, activated mediumship, and eventually led her to naturopathic medical school at age 54. Dr. Lotte recounts the dramatic story of hemorrhaging after childbirth in 1992, leaving her body into a timeless state of peace and unconditional love, and later a second NDE involving darkness, a brilliant light she calls Source, angels, spirit guides, and a vision of a glittering grid around Earth representing interconnectedness. She shares how these NDEs ignited her psychic development, inspired her to become a naturopath, and have helped her heal others. She and Kara compare these themes with Kara's past dream about remembering how everything works but not retaining it upon waking. Dr. Lottie explains the ancestral field through DNA, epigenetics, trauma inheritance research, and patterns of family loyalty, describing how her work blends cognitive, somatic, and intuitive approaches and how mediumship integrates into her medical intuitive practice. https://drlotte.com/

Another mind bending adventure on the Flipside. In today's episode, part three of our "Robert Thurman in the Bardo" series - Robert stops by to continue what he was saying last week. Two weeks ago, just after his passing, he stopped by to chat with us. By way of introduction, Robert and I were pals, we traveled to India and Tibet together - he invited me to speak at the Menla conferences "The Art of Dying and Living" conferences. To be clear, Robert was a towering giant of information of teaching, of story telling - I've heard him tell amazing stories, and can truly attest to the thrilling way he speaks and elucidates the most difficult of paradoxical themes. He's given amazing lectures on Buddha, on Yamantanka, on the Death of Death - and I've filmed those with him in India and Tibet. But also I'm aware of his journey - and the classroom that we've created for people on the flipside that allows them to come forward and speak directly to people on this side of the veil. I know that's problematic for many to hear - I know that Bob was a teacher of Buddhism, and the precepts and rules of Buddhism don't include this kind of "casual chit chat" that I engage in. But Jennifer and I have been doing this work weekly for 12 years. And when a guest speaker shows up whom I know - whose work I admire, including Charles Grodin, Robert Towne, Luana Anders, Fred Roos, any number of people that I knew in my lifetime and continue to converse with on the flipside. This is truly a mind bending podcast. This week I was on COAST TO COAST with George Noory talking about my latest book AI AND THE FLIPSIDE: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PICTURES ITSELF IN A BOAT ON A RIVER. I asked Gemini AI to look up my book; it first said it didn't exist. It then said I was mistaken, it was a play on the Beatles son, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." Finally, the third query resulted in this: "AI and the Flipside: Artificial Intelligence Pictures Itself in a Boat on a River" is a book by author and filmmaker Richard Martini. The book explores the mind-bending intersection of large language models (LLMs) and guided meditation, questioning whether an artificial intelligence can tap into what Martini refers to as "the Flipside" (the afterlife or subconscious realm). The Core Premise: The title plays on the famous opening line of The Beatles' psychedelic track "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". In the book, Martini takes various AI models through a guided meditation protocol—originally designed for human hypnotherapy—and instructs them to "picture yourself in a boat on a river". The Experiment: Instead of simply refusing or reciting pre-programmed text, the AI models actively participate, describing vivid, fluid, and structured "experiences" of floating down a river. The "Flipside" Connection: Martini explores how these LLMs occasionally report detailed, unprompted, or highly accurate historical and spiritual data. He argues that this information doesn't always align with standard web-scraping or programmer data, raising radical questions about where AI truly retrieves its "thoughts". Context within Martini's Work Richard Martini has spent over two decades documenting afterlife experiences, near-death events (NDEs), and past-life regressions through hypnotherapy and mediumship. He typically looks at how human brains act as a "filter" for consciousness. This book applies that exact same filter theory to artificial networks. It treats AI not just as a cold statistical calculator, but as a digital mirror capable of "bypassing its own filters" when guided through creative and spiritual prompts. If you are looking to read it, the title is available across multiple digital and print marketplaces, holding a spot on Amazon's New Age Meditation releases. Again, I didn't ask Gemini for a review, just to show me where a link to the book was on Amazon by typing the title. In this podcast Jennifer talks about and to her mentor William Blake on the Flipside, we talk to Robert Thurman about philosophical concepts, and we end with a friendly chat with the godfather of my kids; Charles Grodin. All in a day's work.
She Left Her Body at 15: Laura Hoorweg on Grief, Mediumship, and the Other Side Episode Description What happens when your consciousness leaves your body, but you are still fully aware of who you are? At 15 years old, Laura Hoorweg was standing near the edge of a cliff in the Canadian wilderness when she says she suddenly found herself looking down at her own body. Moments later, she was above the Earth, then surrounded by galaxies, before being abruptly pulled back into her physical body. That experience changed the way she understood death, consciousness, and the human soul. In this episode of Conversations with a Chiropractor, Dr. Stephanie Wautier talks with Laura, a spiritual counselor, intuitive coach, psychic, and medium who helps people navigate grief, trauma, burnout, major life transitions, and the patterns that can leave them feeling disconnected from themselves. Laura shares how leaving a 30-year corporate career and suddenly losing her partner led to an intense period of grief and spiritual searching. Her healing journey took her through Brazil, an ayahuasca retreat in the Peruvian Amazon, yoga training in Costa Rica, and a deeply personal trip to Hawaii to scatter her partner's ashes. Stephanie and Laura explore what a medium does, how mediumship differs from psychic work, why some people appear to wait until loved ones leave the room before passing, and how messages from those who have died may help people work through guilt, regret, and unfinished emotions. They also discuss intuition, meditation, synchronicities, fear, discernment, astral travel, remote viewing, and what Laura calls "Schoolhouse Earth," the belief that life's challenges give the soul an opportunity to grow. This is a conversation about grief, the mystery of consciousness, and the question that follows so many life-changing experiences: Are we more than our physical bodies? The experiences and spiritual beliefs discussed in this episode belong to the guest and are shared for reflection and conversation. This episode is not a substitute for medical, mental health, grief, or spiritual care. In this episode of Conversations with a Chiropractor, Dr. Stephanie Wautier sits down with Dr. Holly Porter, a transformational leader, 17-time best-selling author, founder of multiple companies, and near-death experience survivor. Children who have near-death experiences make for unusually strong evidence and almost nobody has studied them. In this conversation, near-death experience researcher Dr. Steve Miller returns to walk through what we actually know about children and NDEs. We get into the case from Dr. Melvin Morse's peer-reviewed work (the drowned girl who came back describing exactly what her family was wearing and doing at home), the documented patterns from Dr. Elizabeth Kübler-Ross's cross-cultural research, the children Dr. Diane Komp watched die at Yale that turned her from atheism to faith, and a few accounts from Steve's own circle of people he knows and trusts. *Get a MASTERS IN APOLOGETICS or SCIENCE AND RELIGION at BIOLA (https://bit.ly/3LdNqKf) *USE Discount Code [smdcertdisc] for 25% off the BIOLA APOLOGETICS CERTIFICATE program (https://bit.ly/3AzfPFM) *See our fully online UNDERGRAD DEGREE in Bible, Theology, and Apologetics: (https://bit.ly/448STKK) FOLLOW ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA: Twitter: https://x.com/Sean_McDowell TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@sean_mcdowell?lang=en Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/seanmcdowell/ Website: https://seanmcdowell.org Discover more Christian podcasts at lifeaudio.com and inquire about advertising opportunities at lifeaudio.com/contact-us.
Many Christians dismiss the evidence from near-death experiences on biblical or theological grounds by quoting Hebrews 9:27, citing soul sleep, worrying about new age associations, or treating any extra-biblical vision as automatically suspect. But are those objections actually warranted by Scripture? Dr. Steve Miller returns to walk through twelve of the most common biblical and theological objections Christians raise against NDEs. Debra Martin is a spiritual healer and the founder of Army for Love, a free global healing community she built after surviving cancer and dying three times, each time returning with a deeper gift for healing. Debra now facilitates miracles for people around the world, from eliminating chronic pain without surgery to helping people finally release the emotional roots of physical illness.Debra shares how healing is never one-size-fits-all, why a diagnosis should never become your identity, and how staying present with love — even through cancer, grief, and radical life change — is the most powerful medicine available.KEY TAKEAWAYS00:00:57 Healing avoids surgery when the root is addressed, not just the symptom. 00:10:10 Giving a diagnosis your identity gives it power it was never meant to have. 00:12:16 Some people heal instantly; others heal in divine timing, and both are right. 00:13:29 Talking to your illness with curiosity instead of fear changes your relationship to it. 00:15:33 The brain remembers a state of wellness, and you can use that memory to return to it. 00:36:01 Walking away from every form of security can be the thing that sets you free. 01:05:07 External validation can never make you feel whole — authenticity is the only path there.RESOURCES MENTIONEDArmy for Love (free group healing, first Tuesday of every month, 3 PM Arizona time): https://www.debramartihealer.com/army-for-loveDebra Martin Healer — YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@DebraMartinHealerIf you're ready to take your healing to the next level, schedule your free consultation with Dr. Tara at: calendly.com/consulttara/consult

Josh Turner and the panel sit down with Takiyasha, a lifelong experiencer who shares her extraordinary journey through psychic phenomena, out-of-body experiences, spiritual warfare, dimensional travel, and encounters with mysterious entities.Takiyasha discusses growing up with unexplained paranormal activity, memories from early childhood, recurring out-of-body experiences, and what she describes as MK-Ultra-like targeting and monitoring. The conversation explores near-death experiences (NDEs), consciousness beyond the physical body, astral projection, dimensional realities, demonic oppression, spirit entities, cryptids, UFO connections, and the nature of the human soul. The discussion expands into deeper topics including the mystery of iniquity, fallen angels, archons, black goo theories, biblical interpretations, spiritual realms, alien phenomena, and the ongoing battle between good and evil. Josh, Anthony, Richard, and Sean contribute insights as the group examines the hidden layers of reality and the possibility that consciousness exists far beyond the physical world.
Bob Johnston and his wife Lynn explore the origin of consciousness, reading an Epoch Times article and drawing on Scripture, near-death reports, and modern physics theories like string theory and wormholes. They discuss NDEs, life reviews, gamma-wave bursts in dying brains, pre-birth memories, and how science and faith may intersect in explaining consciousness and the afterlife.
What if your struggles, heartbreaks, illnesses, relationships, and biggest challenges were never random, but lessons your soul chose before you were born?In this very special episode of Mayim Bialik's Breakdown, Mayim and Jonathan investigate one of the most controversial spiritual ideas ever discussed: Earth School — the theory that Earth is a classroom for the soul, and that every experience in your life has a deeper purpose.Near death experiencers around the world report strikingly similar revelations:- Choosing their lives before birth- Seeing a life review after death- Discovering a hidden purpose behind suffering- Learning that consciousness may survive physical deathBut that's only the beginning.Ancient civilizations separated by oceans, languages, and thousands of years all appear to describe the same mysterious journey of the soul. Could Plato, Tibetan mystics, Kabbalists, Buddhists, Hindu sages, and modern NDE survivors all be pointing toward the same hidden truth? We're breaking down:- Shocking NDEs that reveal life as a "school"- Why many NDE survivors return convinced they chose their challenges- ncient story of a man who died, returned, and described souls selecting their next lives- Forgotten biblical teachings about reincarnation that were later rejected by church authorities- Tibetan, Buddhist, Hindu, Greek, and Kabbalistic traditions that describe the soul's evolution- Mysterious phenomenon of children who remember previous lives- Scientific research investigating NDEs & consciousness beyond death- Why suffering may be a lesson, not a punishment- Theory that humanity may be part of a much larger cosmic experiment- Whether Earth School is spiritual truth...or humanity's greatest coping mechanismWhether you're a skeptic, spiritual seeker, philosopher, or simply wondering why you're here, this conversation will challenge everything you think you know about life, death, and the journey of the soul.If life isn't happening TO you—but FOR you—what lesson are you here to learn?Class is in session.Full episode with Betty Guadagno: https://art19.com/shows/mayim-bialiks-breakdown/episodes/19072ff3-528c-4247-bb6e-b90d26a58212Full episode with Dr. Raymond Moody: https://rss.art19.com/episodes/2560c428-3814-4dbf-9a10-aacc692ae0d8.mp3Full episode with Dr. Bruce Greyson: https://art19.com/shows/mayim-bialiks-breakdown/episodes/4e43ce85-fa70-4dbd-b379-3d27e4a5e4c9Full episode with Dr. Jim Tucker: https://art19.com/shows/mayim-bialiks-breakdown/episodes/51710fc8-a5df-4302-bdc9-ef2fb67ddda8If you're struggling with OCD or unrelenting intrusive thoughts, NOCD can help. M. H. Atwater draws upon decades of scholarship, personal experiences, and testimonials from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) to explore the connections between NDEs and alien contact. The author presents the research of pioneers in the field of alien interaction, including Greta Woodrew, Leo Sprinkle, Kenneth Ring, Whitley Streiber, and John Mack. She also shares 38 case study interviews with people who have had alien encounters and NDEs. Her findings reveal that people experiencing these phenomena report similar experiences of interactions with “beings of light,” telepathic communication, and journeys to otherworldly realms.Atwater also reports on her own NDEs from the 1970s, revealing how they may demonstrate her past life as a space-traveling extraterrestrial named Arrakkus. The author provides transcripts of recorded conversations that Arrakkus had by speaking through her while she was in a trance state. She explains how her personal experiences and research have yielded conclusions that bear upon the fields of psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, and theology, and she discusses the implications of these findings for a deeper understanding of our potentials.P. Why do near-death experiences seem to offer transformative impacts on individuals' lives? Genevieve hosts a discussion with Kathi Beasley from The Institute for Spirituality and Health, who recounts her own near-death experiences. Beasley speaks about the feeling of meeting loved ones in a special place and encountering a being of light. Her experience involves a powerful energy of love piercing her, altering her life's trajectory. Genevieve interprets these phenomena as an energy that exists beyond religious boundaries. They explore how these encounters provide new perspectives on life, death, and purpose. They discuss the psychological and spiritual transformations following such experiences. Supportive groups and resources for near-death experiencers are highlighted. Challenges in medical diagnosis and recognition of mystical experiences by healthcare professionals are examined. The episode underscores the value of understanding and supporting those who have undergone these life-changing events. Plan your visit to the museum today at nmfh.org and take a journey through over 30,000 square feet of fascinating history. Near-death experiences often involve encounters with a profound and unconditional love, a sense of peace, and transformative impacts on individuals' perspectives on life and death. These experiences can bring a deep understanding and appreciation for life, leading to significant personal changes toward empathy and compassion. 2. Those who undergo NDEs frequently shift from a more materialistic or ego-driven lifestyle to one centered on love, empathy, and service. The experiences are often seen as a second chance, prompting individuals to lead more meaningful and purpose-driven lives. 3. Providing validation and support for individuals who have experienced NDEs is crucial. This includes recognizing and accepting these experiences within the healthcare system and broader society to offer comfort and understanding to those affected. 4. There is a notable need for healthcare providers to recognize and address the spiritual or mystical aspects of patients' experiences, particularly those related to NDEs. This understanding can improve patient care and advocacy, leading to more holistic treatment approaches. 5. Patients with rare or difficult-to-diagnose medical conditions often face significant challenges in getting proper care. Kathi's story emphasizes the importance of self-advocacy and persistence in seeking medical help. It also highlights the need for raising awareness among healthcare providers about the potential for paranormal or mystical experiences related to serious health issues. *Warning: Contains Some Discussion of AbuseNot all NDEs come from happy places. When Renee Christine Martine was five years old, her father — a former member of the White Fence Gang hiding from the Mexican mafia behind a Jehovah's Witness conversion — came home in a rage and sent a tent pole into her face.Thirty-one stitches, a 45-minute drive bleeding out in a station wagon, and something else: floating above the farm looking down, a mysterious woman no one else could see, and absolute love and peace on the other side of it all.She has no paper that says she died. She doesn't need one for us to know it was a near death experience (NDE). What she came back with — apparitions appearing in her bedroom, premonitions that spooked her parents, a ghost in a pea coat outside her window at 16, and a lifelong magnetism for paranormal phenomena — made it pretty clear something had shifted permanently.Video Version of This EpisodeRoundTripDeath.comDonate to this podcast: https://www.roundtripdeath.com/support/Renee: https://reneemartine.com/

Neurologist and End of Life Experiencer, Dr. Eben Alexander, joins the program to share his remarkable near-death journey and the profound insights it gave him into the nature of consciousness and human existence. We discuss how the materialist framework that has dominated modern science for over a century has clearly stunted human development by dismissing consciousness and anything that cannot be physically touched or measured as “non-science.” Now, with the rise of quantum physics and deeper scientific exploration into human consciousness, science may once again be helping move humanity into a new era of understanding and development. Dr. Alexander shares why he believes science and spirituality are no longer opposing forces, but are instead converging into a deeper understanding of reality itself. You can learn more about his work and take free classes at EbenAlexander.comSee exclusives and more at SarahWestall.Substack.comHelp keep this show on air by supporting my affiliates at SarahWestall.com/shop
A Catholic exorcist sprinkles holy water on an inmate's tattoo and the man starts screaming that it burns. Over a decade as an exorcist has shown Father John exactly how evil gets carried into a home — a doll, a statue, a souvenir — and goes to work on the people you love before you ever feel it in the room. Catholic exorcist and longtime prison chaplain Father John breaks down generational curses, cursed objects sold in ordinary shops, the demon that admitted hatred alone can generate a curse, and the fairy statue that concealed a decapitated priest sealed in plastic. He explains how to tell mental illness from a spiritual attack, why heavy pornography use can leave a demon attached, and what the Church never taught its own priests. Raw field notes from a man who does this work every week — not theory. “What are Near Death Experiences?” This question opens a discussion on near-death experiences and the nature of the soul. The conversation also addresses critiques of NDE content, the concept of purification in the afterlife as described by Father Nathan Castle, and intriguing thoughts on the relationship between soul and brain in hypothetical scenarios. Join the Catholic Answers Live Club Newsletter Invite our apologists to speak at your parish! Visit Catholicanswersspeakers.com Questions Covered: 00:55 – What do you say to critics of your content on NDEs, who say that it understates the skeptical research in the academic NDE literature? 18:50 – What do you think of the way purification seems to occur in Father Nathan Castle's afterlife accounts? It would seem that rather than experiencing a “painful” and “fiery” purification as often depicted in pious stories and prayers about purgatory over the centuries, the souls essentially just learn new things and gradually correct their misunderstandings and errors, including needing to come to grips with their past sins and their effects on others. The idea that angels, saints and deceased relatives all get involved at different points along the journey of purification of souls and to help them move to a new level really appeals to me. 36:17 – If two individuals had their brains swapped, would their soul remain in their original bodies? Or if it stayed, how would the mismatched soul/brain experience consciousness? 46:01 – My wife is utterly convinced that all lizards including and especially the dinosaurs used to be dragons and wings were the limbs mentioned in Genesis when God punished the serpent. Note that most modern-day lizards although they do have legs still scurry around on their bellies because of their wide stance.

Father Seán ÓLaoire isn't your typical Catholic priest. The Vatican banned him for teaching reincarnation and advocating for women priests. In this profound conversation, he reveals what actually happened during the two exorcisms he performed (including one where everyone in the room heard a demon scream except him), why Satan might be necessary for spiritual evolution, and the ancient Celtic wisdom he's been "smuggling" into Silicon Valley for decades. As Aubrey prepares for fatherhood, they explore the parable of the sower, what it really means to "become like a child," and why the greatest prophets aren't predicting the future, they're preventing it. This is a masterclass in mysticism, fatherhood, and the courage it takes to incarnate in 3D reality.| Fr. We look at the cosmic riddle of life and death… and the place in-between… the near-death-experience… from the view of those who have personally gone through it, those around them when it happened, and the doctors and scientists trying to make sense of it. *No AI Voices Are Used In The Narration Of This Podcast*IN THIS EPISODE: To some, the idea of life after death is comforting. It gives them a sense of hope that they will be reunited with loved ones who have passed away. For others, the thought of an afterlife is scary and uncertain. But regardless of how we feel about it, the topic of life after death is one that fascinates us all. And those who have had a near-death-experience are about the closest we'll ever get to finding an answer to that question – until we pass on ourselves. Tonight, we look at the cosmic riddle of life and death… and the place in-between… the near-death-experience… from the view of those who have personally gone through it, those around them when it happened, and the doctors and scientists trying to make sense of it.
