Tariq Ahmad MD MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Section of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine where he focuses the care of patients with advanced heart failure, left ventricular assist devices, and cardiac transplantation. He completed his clinical training at the Brigham and Women's Hospital at Harvard Medical School, in Boston, and at the Duke University Medical Center. His research focuses on biomarkers of heart failure and the use of advanced analytics and innovative technologies to bring the promise of precision medicine to the bedside of patients with heart failure. Tariq was an RA in Third North and graduated from NYU in 2001.
