Last week we started the new year, 2014, with a Fresh Start. God gives us a second chance to be blessed after we make mistake after mistake. He is so gracious and merciful. So what now? What’s our next step? Well, we all need to find that out. He has plans for us and things for us to do and places for us to be and blessings for us to receive. We just need to ask and listen and obey. Listen to “ The Next Step” and find out how to start receiving God’s best.
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. He came to give us life, a new chance, a second chance. He promises that His mercies are renewed to us day by day. Each morning, newness of life is His promise to us. That’s awesome. No matter what we have done, how many times we have failed, he is there to pick us up and give us a fresh start. He turns hopeless situations into hopeful situations that give Him praise. Let go of your circumstances that are keeping you down and lean on Jesus. He brings the hope that you need to set you free. God is good!!
Is your name known in Hell? Jesus gave us all authority over the devil in Luke 10:19. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. His name is known in Hell as the one to steer clear of and we have been given authority over the demons and their realm, so we too are a force to be reckoned with in Jesus’ name. If you want to know your authority over demonic forces and how to be free from their influence, listen to: “We were born to RAZE Hell”.
Are you a slave, a servant, or a son? Jesus calls you a friend if you know Him as Lord. The Word of God also calls us a slave, a servant, and a son. Dig into God’s word with us in this study and learn who we are in Christ Jesus.
God is a holy God. He calls us to be holy because He is Holy. Holiness is conducting ourselves in a way that is befitting a Christian, that pleases God. We should walk circumspectly and watch what is going on around us so we don’t fall into the Devil’s snare and sin. Listen to this message and find out how the Grace of God can make you Holy.
God has a plan for our life. It is a divine destiny. That plan has an anointing that is the power of God. The plan that God told Joshua to carry out to take the city of Jericho didn’t make any sense in the natural realm. Marching around a fortified city for 7 days and blowing a horn doesn’t seem like a mighty military strategy does it? Why? Because it's not! It's a God strategy and God’s strategy has power to accomplish His plan. Let’s open our spiritual ears and listen to God’s victory plan for our lives.
God is so good and deserves our praise. We praise God for what He does and we worship God for who He is. Psalm 150:6 says, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” We can shape our entire day by waking up in the morning and saying, “This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.” Let’s make life as grand as what God intended for it to be by praising Him all throughout our day. He is worthy of our praise.
Our great nation was founded on God’s word and His principles. Our founding fathers structured our constitution and our laws according to the freedom and liberty that God’s Word teaches. Many lives were sacrificed to purchase our freedom. The most amazing of which is not a military figure but the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus died so that we may have life. His death purchased our freedom from the curse of sin and death. 2 Corinthians declares that, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.”
God’s word gives us a plan for our life. It is ordained and a divine destiny. Our time is divided into three parts - past, present, and future. We have divided our thinking into three parts also – I did, I am, and I will. "I did" is in the past and over. "I am" is in the present and takes our focus. "I will" is in the future and takes vision. In order to do God’s will tomorrow we need to be risk takers. We need to listen to that small still voice of the Holy Spirit inside of us and be willing to take a risk and do what He speaks to us to do. Take a Risk and be blessed.
God’s word gives us a great example. Abraham believed God and it was accounting to him for Righteousness. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. God’s gifts are given to us by His Grace. It isn’t something that we deserve. It’s something He wants to bless us with. Exceedingly, abundantly, above what we can ask or think is what our God wants to do for us. His grace is awesome and He wants to give it to us. Have the grace to receive it and be blessed.
God’s word says, “Acknowledge Him in all of our ways and He will direct our path.” In the beginning of any task, any endeavor, any plan, we should seek His direction. God knows best. His Holy Spirit will direct us into God’s will with ease. Blessings are included in all of God’s plans as we follow them. Every day we should wake up with a fresh determination to seek God for direction. He will not let us down if we do He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve never reached the Tree of Life where God’s best was waiting for them. That didn't stop Our Father from devising a plan to bless us. We can still eat from the Tree of Life. Proverbs 3 tells us that our Tree of Life is the Wisdom of God and 1 Corinthians 1 Chapter tells us that Jesus is our Wisdom. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. He wants to bless us with every kind of blessing. Listen and learn how to Eat from the Tree of Life.
When Jesus called His disciples, He said to them, “Come and See”. They followed Jesus and personally witnessed the power of God working through Him. They didn't have to guess. They saw that He was the Messiah sent from God to save the world. You are urged to seek out Jesus in His Word and heed the Master’s voice when he says, “Come and See”. You will be amazed how much He loves you and cares about every aspect of your life. Come and See!
When Jesus came to earth His purpose was to destroy the works of the devil. Salvation for man was the goal. The blessings of salvation are many. He established the Kingdom of God here on earth inside and around His believers. We are already citizens of heaven. Let’s act like it and start living in His abundant provision. Do you want to hear more about it? Start now, be more Kingdom minded, and listen to: “ Let the Kingdom of God break through on you.”
God has promised His best for us who love Him. Second best is not His will. Good enough is second best. Don’t settle for good enough when God wants us to have His best. Trust the Lord for His best to be yours. You may have experienced failures in the past. Put those memories behind you and trust God for His best to dominate your future. Dream prosperous dreams and let His visions of plenty fill your mind. God is good!
God is a good God. He wants to bless us, encourage us, prosper us and heal us. God doesn’t send sickness to people. He doesn’t try to teach people lessons by putting burdens on them. His Word promises that He will heal us and bless us and prosper us and watch over us. He promises that there is no weapon formed against us that will prosper. He will hold us in the palm of His hand, under the shadow of His wing, and that He will never leave us or forsake us. Study His Word and start believing today that God is Good.
Easter is a reminder for us every year to live a life of Love, not by ourselves, but through Christ. God wants us to show His Love through our smiles, our laugh, our joy, our peace, our helping hands. The Easter greeting itself tells us how. "Happy Easter”, is Happy for a reason. The gift that God has given us at Easter is the command to go forth and be Happy. No excuses. The Gift of the Empty Tomb brings us Joy. The Gift of our Resurrected Christ is a commandment to, Go Forth, To Live, To Laugh, and To Love.

We worship God for who He is, so who is He to you? In contrast to a recent study on praise, Pastor Rob helps us to understand the difference between praise and worship, and when each is appropriate. He explains how worshiping the Lord with your whole heart and keeping a two way communication between you and God is a form of honor. There are many ways to worship God with your life and Pastor Rob provides a number of insightful examples through Old and New Testaments accounts.
