Ryan joins ConcordTV this summer as an intern from SNHU. He brings an inspiring story of perseverance and overcoming obstacles in life, applying that motivation to his work at SNHU and now with ConcordTV for the summer!
We don't often talk geopolitical issues on this program but we were inspired by two Concord community members- Russell and Marie - who ever since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022 have been advocating for and selling artwork to directly support Ukraine. They're a great example of walking the walk!
The future of the humanities in New Hampshire is threatened following a Presidential Executive Order issued on April 2, 2025 that calls for the reduction and elimination of functions of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). These cuts severely impact the very foundation of our work, which brings free, accessible programs to communities across the Granite State. New Hampshire Humanities Executive Director Michael Haley Goldman joins the program to discuss all that and more!

The Crisis Center of Central NH helps survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, stalking and elder abuse. Last year, they helped 1,755 victims and survivors in Merrimack County. Every October on the first Wednesday of the month, CCCNH hosts Walk a Mile in Their Shoes. WAM is a light-hearted event to raise awareness about very serious issues – domestic, sexual and gender violence. They encourage the community to walk to show solidarity, support survivors, and to raise awareness of domestic and sexual violence in Merrimack County.
