Born and raised in Southern California, Michael Dishno, knew in his heart that one day he would make a podcast in hopes to change even one person's life for the better. He tried to push it off by distracting himself with producing his own music in his home studio, but what he didn't know was that in the pursuit of building a home studio to record music, he built the perfect studio for recording a podcast. Finally the stage was set, he asked his friends and followers from near and far, the votes were cast, it was time. The podcast was born. The humbling title remains foundational that all Dish pursues to do is learn and share that knowledge, even if it means nothing. Join if you're bored or join if you like it. If you're not really sure then listen for like 5 minutes. Thanks 3
Season 3 Episode 3 brings you the first guest of season 3. With an amazing guest that inspires me, we talk about almost too much to fit into a single episode. There will be more one day but for now I hope that you enjoy all that me and Matt talk about everything on our mind, even if it does seem little scatterbrained, that's life.
Join in for EPI 2 as Dish dives deep into a chunk of topics. First he shares about his MRI experience and gives a little life update. Then he reads about San Franciscos early history. He talks more about TV, again, but from a different perspective. Lastly, he talks about Dungeon and Dragons, again, and breaks down character creation and the characters that he has created and played as in his DnD campaigns. Song of the Day: Rosalie by New Town Burnout
we are back. Season 2 and died and season 3 has come to life. There are changes to this season but the intention remains the same, to talk into a. microphone to an extended period of time and the post it somewhere so people can listen. We explore a bit, I've learned more since the last time I recorded and I'm still learning more.
2 big news for this episode. No more video and mid season break. I need a minute and I explain it in the episode. Also I read a book and I talk about it. Song of the day: Blessing' Me by Red Hearse. Sponsors: @KasiaRandall_Jewelry @A.Honey.Hive and Stance (one day)
In the second installment featuring Cat Martino we complete the 15 life lessons and talk about a quote from Santa Claus. Be the change you want to see in the world, if you believe it's possible. Song of the day: Southern Nights by Glen Campbell. Sponsors: @KasiaRandall_Jewelry @A.Honey.Hive and Stance (I won't beg out of respect for you business but it'd be rad)
DAY LATE BECAUSE OF VALENTINES DAY: Join in as the esteemed and honorable Cat MARTINO shares some wild opinions on some ridiculous life advice... This EPI was really fun to record and, with a tired mind, we talked about some deep aspects of life and growth. Enjoy. Song of the Day: Let's Get It Started by Black Eyed Peas. Sponsors: @KasiaRandall_Jewelry @A.Honey.Hive and Stance (hopefully soon)
In this EPI, Dish talks about some heavy topics that have been on his mind for a hot minute. They've been on his mind for awhile because they are mostly season 1 topics that have been shelved till now. It's a quick-draw style of approaching them and sharing some hot takes but hopefully it opens up the conversation for you to share as well. Song of the Day: Sammy Rae & The Friends. Sponsors: KasiaRandall_Jewelry, @A.Honey.Hive, and Stance (Please one day)
In this episode, me and Ethan dive into a deeper topic. It gets personal as we talk about what we do what we do and how we motivate ourselves. I hope you enjoy the conversation and feel like you were really there with us throughout it. Please share any thoughts you have about it, I love to hear it. Song of the Day: Take On Me by a-ha. Sponsors: Poppy (seriously carried the sponsorship), Stance (I will always wear your stuff).
In this continued session with Ethan, we started with the idea of Fortnite and that bled into so much more about video game culture as a whole. From why we play videos to the nostalgia that keeps bringing us back, it's all there. Please enjoy and stay safe out in xbox live voice chatrooms. Song of the Day: Kill Bill by SZA. Sponsors: Poppy (can't wait to meet Cat's dog poppy), Stance (I'll love you forever).
Season 2 kicks off the guesting with a very special guest guesting their way into podcast guestdom, p guestfully. Very excited to have Ethan join me as we dive into the first of our 3 topics. Yes, that's right. There will be 2 more episodes featuring Ethan and his fascinating perspective. Song of the Day: Swimming Pools by Man of Mars. Sponsors: Poppy [Cat's dog (you'll find out who Cat is soon)], Stance (I will never give up).
In this episode, Dish dives into a recent trip he went on, a controversial topic of hotdogs, and learns a little about concrete. The season is still starting out and there's so much to dive into, this episode stays light hearted. Check is out and I hope you learn something. Song of the day: In My Life - Remastered 2009 by the Beatles. Sponsors: Ethan Ignoffo, Stance (hopefully).
If you're new to the podcast then this episode is for you. Please start here because I reflect on the intentions of this podcast and set some expectations for the coming episodes. I so excited we're back in the swing of things and can't wait to see what the rest of season 2 brings. Song of the Day: I will Survive by Gloria Gaynor. Sponsors: Alexandra Dishno, Stance (hopefully), and Hello Fresh (because why not)
My heart is overwhelmed with joy to share this amazing episode recorded with the majority of this season's guests. I hope you feel as though you're in the room with us. And if you've listened to the rest of the guest-filled episodes, I hope you feel a little closer to all of us in a one-sided way. I will confirm I feel closer to my friends in a two sided way. Enjoy and come back for seconds in Season 2 (early 2023). Song of the Day: How Long Do I Have to Wait for You? by Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings
In the final, pre-finale, episode we explore a variety of topics. We started deep with a light-heart topic. Then we made our way into a heavy topic address casually. Finally, we ended on a massive topic which was dealt with accordingly. It's been a Tripp getting to know these guests and I'm glad my guest, Justin Tripp, joined me for these topics. Song of the Day: Back Pocket by Vulfpeck
This episode is meant for those who want their lives to be changes. Not much, but none the less changed. You will NOT be the same after you listen to this because you will be set apart from those who haven't listen to this episode. As me and my guest dive into these movies and our thoughts on them, I feel like we unlocked something powerful. Listen to find out. Song of the Day: Skipping Stones by Gallant and Jhené Aiko
Learn in this episode, as I did, about animals with someone who loves all kinds. Oddly enough, we talked about birds more than aquatic life. It was a lot of fun to record this EPI and I hope you enjoy listening. Song of the day: Kokomo by The Beach Boys

This episode was split as I recorded the beginning portion when I was 25 years old and the second portion when I was 26 years old. It was a time for reflection and sharing about some things that have been on my mind. Thankful for everyone who has been in my life leading up to this epi, particularly those I mentioned in the recording, especially my wife
This extra special episode is brought to you in part by the fact that me and my guest, Mady Hammans, have the same birthday. With Mady being 5 years younger than me we started to expand on the undeniable truth that in 5 years she will look exactly like me and live my exact life as it is now. We cannot wait for this day to come. I hope you enjoy the Epi and shoutout to the real ones, we talked about beef fed beef finally, just for you. Song of the Day: Good Vibrations by Good vibration by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch and Loleatta Holloway. Sponsors: Shawn Trumbly and Bryce Turcaz.
In this episode me and my esteemed guest, Alex Randall, simply read bot-written screen plays and they changed my life. I hope you have a good laugh. Song of the Day: Scatman by Scatman John
In this short, sweet, episode Dish goes over some deeper content in a birds eye view. Honestly, I had a lot on my mind and gave myself very little time to explore it. I imagine in the future these will come up again and I encourage anyone to bring any insight to the table as I explore these topics. Song of the day: Just Like Heaven by The Cure
On the first episode of Dishes Know Nothing I am joined by my beautiful and effervescent guest Alexandra Dishno. We have an amazing time just jamming out some topics and I hope you feel included in our husband and wife conversation. Song of the day: He Needs Me by Carly Rae Jepsen
This episode is my first attempt to conquer my white whale. I promise I wasn't choose long topics just to waste time. I really learned a lot about myself in this episode though and it raised my self awareness. Hope you reflect along with me, if you take the same test that I did, let me know what you learn.
This episode is simple. I chose to take a minute to breathe after such a long, amazing previous episode and wanted to encourage viewers to take a minute to JUST breathe. Thanks for making it this far with us.
This episode was an absolute honor to record with this irreplaceable guest. We really had the chance to dive into some crazy topics that somehow all related at the end of the episode in way that really surprised me. And that's not just a way to get you to listen to the end, I genuinely was taken aback when these topics that I chose 5 minutes before recording tied together in a beautiful manner. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed chatting with the famed John Martino.
In this episode I share about a topic that has been asked about a few times now: how I approach the dance floor. This topic was petitioned by the sponsor and my friend, Kalea. There are quoted around "planning" because I'm very bad at planning and I talked about it. Lastly, we round off with a little creative insight about my hobby of making music.
In this episode we jump right into talking about Bigfoot and power of the mind. I share a bit about surfing and realistically I have an eye opening revelation of my deep and honest feelings about it. We end with an introduction to a fantastic book I'll likely read again because the fun was just beginning within the first few pages.
We are back. Or at least I am. Hopefully listeners had some time to catch up. This episode we dive into some good and light stuff. I had some good jokes for this episode that I forgot to I didn't say them. Please enjoy and as always, share your thoughts with me.
In this episode, I really open up about a valuable lesson I recently started to learn about. A phenomenal lesson I probably wouldn't have explored if not for an irreplaceable mentor and their wisdom and honesty. We also get way less serious, which is an accurate representation of my relationship with my guest. This episode was v fun to record and I highly enjoyed the conversation with my guest Shawn Trumbly. I hope you enjoy it so much. Also at the end I straight up start losing my mind because I'm exhausted. I sincerely hope you laugh.
Join in with Dish as he reaches for the stars. He explores his dream house and where it lies in the cosmos. He talks about sliced bread, how good it is, and what could be considered to be better. He also loses consciousness and talks about the future for a little, it gets a little out of hand. Hopefully it changes your life.
In this potty episode we will see as Michael absolutely loses his mind. He tried to share these topics but struggled to convey why he felt the need to share them. But also like he recorded it 3 times because he really felt like they were worth talking about. Hopefully whoever this means something to is out there and it absolutely changes your life for the better. Also mad RESPECT to Bekah, you inspire me lol.
This episode it hefty. The topics are amazing and it gets weird. It's also the first episode with a guest and you'll have to listen to find out who they really are. Let it change your life.
Join Michael in this episode as he talks about 3 topics that pretty much everyone can genuinely relate to. In this episode, he surprised himself on how long he was able to talk about everything and nothing. In addition, this is the first story time featured in an episode. We understand if you don't listen to the whole episode, but if you do then you will have heard the whole episode by the end of it.
In the pilot episode of Dish Knows Nothing I'll go over what to expect from future shows but also open the floor entirely for external input and how to hit me up about it. Also I go into some submitted topics from some folks I genuinely appreciate. Hope you enjoy it.
