We recently interviewed Ross from Smootheeze, diving deep into the challenges and triumphs of scaling a sustainable, premium kitchen brand. This conversation reveals the brilliant product strategies and marketing tactics behind the viral smoothie prep system. Ross articulated that the most frequent and frustrating daily barrier for users is the often-messy, time-consuming morning prep itself, beyond just the frozen banana clump. Smootheeze solves this "next" by providing effortless pop-out convenience that removes the friction entirely, making a consistent, healthy morning smoothie routine achievable. The discussion highlights the brand's commitment to its zero-waste, anti-consumption ethos. Ross explained that Lifetime Value (LTV) is sustained not through repeated product purchases, but by building a powerful user-generated recipe ecosystem (UGC). This content strategy keeps the community engaged and locks them into the brand by fostering creative, endless usage. To mitigate the known issue of silicone odor and turmeric stains, Smootheeze focuses heavily on educational contentand specific cleaning protocols to protect the long-term functionality and aesthetic of the trays. Finally, Ross provided strategic insight on the Freezer Real Estate Battle, emphasizing the trays' stackable, space-saving design against bulky frozen meals. Regarding Channel Expansion, the long-term strategy involves leveraging the brand's Kickstarter success to strategically test limited retail expansion while doubling down on DTC/Amazon to maintain critical control over the brand story and community connection. Web: https://www.smootheeze.co/ About: Looking for the best way to store fresh smoothie ingredients? Smootheeze Silicone Freezer Trays are your essential meal prep tool for locking in the goodness of ingredients at their nutritional peak. Effortlessly freeze your favorite smoothie ingredients—including fresh berries, sliced bananas, leafy greens, purées, and even nut butter—while keeping every serving perfectly separated and ready to use.
In 1984, 16-year-old Theresa Fusco was fired from her job at a Long Island roller rink and vanished while walking home. Weeks later, her body was found brutally murdered. Police arrested three local men—John Kogut, Dennis Halstead, and John Restivo—and despite a lack of physical evidence, all three were convicted. They spent nearly twenty years behind bars for a crime they didn't commit.Decades later, advances in DNA technology uncovered the truth. Evidence from the crime scene matched Richard Bilodeau, a man who lived near the rink and ran a coffee truck in the area. Detectives confirmed the match using DNA from a discarded smoothie straw Bilodeau used, finally solving the 40-year-old case. After all this time, has justice finally been served for Theresa Fusco?Follow True Crime Recaps for the real stories that prove the truth can take decades to surface.
Welcome back to our weekend Cabral HouseCall shows! This is where we answer our community's wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging questions to help people get back on track! Check out today's questions: Mohamed: Good day Dr.Cabral, thanks for all your amazing work and shout out to the amazing staff at Equilife/IHP. My question is regarding my EKG, had a bit of an issue one day so I got it done. Eveything looked normal however it said “Consider Right Atrial Enlargement (CRAE)”. I'm 26 years old, I use Equilife products such as DNS, DVB, Full spectrum Mag. My CBC lab looked fine. However I was slightly leaning towards hyponaterima. (Ref range: 135-145), I was 136 (Canadian values). My resting HR is 72, however, I do exercise 2-3 times a week. I do have stress sometimes.. if I get really worked up (emotionally)… I feel it in my chest.. however exercise-wise I can run and run..please advise. Thanks Carlos: i have searched your database and cannot find your nighttime routine for cleaning/moisturizing your face. I am wondering what I could do to try and prevent wrinkles and have a healthy, smooth face. Anonymous: Can you explain a little on under eye eyebags and puffiness. I love listening to your podcast! I tell my friends and family. Thanks for all you do. Lori: Hello Dr. Cabral, I've recently noticed more joint stiffness and mild aches when I wake up in the morning. I'm only in my 40s, so I was surprised by this. What are the most common underlying causes of early joint discomfort, and are there natural ways to support joint health before it gets worse? Rocco: Hi Stephen, LOVE your work and your the main person i trust for my health! 2 quick questions, in my morning smoothie (containing avocado, blueberries, banana, psyllium husk, kale), i open 4 capsules of your daily multivitamin, blend it up then drink it over the next 30 minutes. Is that okay that i open the capsules and empty them into my smoothie pre blending, or should i be swallowing them in full capsule form? Finally, is it best to take all vitamins with food, or just follow instructions. I usually take 2-3 Cal-Mag capsules right before bed, as the instructions do not say i need to have it with a meal. Why do some vitamins need to be taken with food, and others not need to be? Thanks ! “Love Is Blind” Denver continues to give off the most unsettling vibes possible. The couples finish up their honeymoons, head back to the Mile High City and make it as clear as possible how deep their disdain for their partners goes. Against all odds, the least cursed couple seems to be Jordan – a man who downs chicken breast and Crystal Light smoothies each morning – and Normal-Amount-of-Sparkle Megan. #305. We did it. Dillon and Kendall threw caution to the wind and literally just listed foods we like and want to talk about. It's basically that simple. We had a ton of fun doing it and it led to a new drive-thru story from Dillon. Also, Kendall tries to wave a magic wand at college football to satisfy most fans of the major competitive football programs. It's a simple topic list, but we hope you dig the deep dive! Please use the LinkTree below to chime in with your favorite foods, drive-thru advise, and how fall sports can be better! Until next time, be kind to each other. The James Craig Case: Why a Dentist Is Accused Of Poising His Wife's Smoothie | Forensic Psychology Breakdown Uncover the sinister method behind the alleged madness in the James Craig case. In this second episode of "Unmasking the Mind of a Murderer," licensed psychotherapist Shavaun Scott and Hidden Killers Host Tony Brueski analyze why James Craig, a medical professional, allegedly chose poison—cyanide and Visine—to slowly kill his wife, Angela. This isn't just a murder; it's a chilling psychological expression. We explore the symbolism of poison in the mind of a killer: Is it about sadism, ultimate control, or a fear of direct confrontation? How does this method differ from a violent or spontaneous act of murder, and what does that reveal about the perpetrator's psyche? This episode dissects the disturbing "playing doctor and God" mentality, examining how someone with medical knowledge can weaponize it to harm rather than heal. Could Craig's actions indicate grandiosity or a god complex, and was there a perverse thrill in watching his victim weaken under his alleged care? Furthermore, we delve into the psychopathic ability to perform grief convincingly while actively causing harm. Witnesses described Craig as calm, even jovial, at the hospital—what does this chilling demeanor reveal about his emotional capacity? Finally, we unravel the alleged "suicide game of chicken" story, analyzing the mental gymnastics required to present such a narrative as plausible. Was this delusional thinking or calculated deceit? We discuss the implications of someone who continues to twist reality even after death. This episode confronts the unsettling truth of how much of these behaviors are about the performance after the murder. #JamesCraig #PoisonMurder #PsychologicalSadism #ForensicAnalysis #MedicalMurderer #TrueCrimeDocs #AngelaCraig #ControlIssues #Psychopath #HiddenKillers Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? He made the smoothies. He added the protein powder. And if prosecutors are right — he allegedly laced them with cyanide and Visine while texting his wife “I love you.” In this solo breakdown, we're unpacking the latest from the James Craig trial — the Colorado dentist accused of methodically murdering his wife, Angela, under the guise of everyday normalcy. This isn't your average true crime case. This is a man who allegedly played the long game: ordering industrial poisons through fake email accounts, tracking delivery schedules to his dental office, and sitting calmly at Angela's hospital bedside as she slowly slipped into a coma. All while juggling an affair, financial collapse, and a Google search history that reads like a how-to manual for murder. In this episode, we'll cover the biggest trial bombshells so far: The damning text messages that contradict his "grieving husband" act Testimony from coworkers who discovered the poison package How prosecutors are building a timeline of intent using Amazon orders and search history Craig's alleged plan to have his daughter create a fake deepfake suicide video The psychological toll this case is taking on the jury, the family — and likely, the country watching This case isn't just about murder. It's about manipulation. It's about how someone can hide in plain sight — trusted, successful, admired — and allegedly use every ounce of that trust to commit the unthinkable. From the courtroom theatrics to the cold forensic detail, the James Craig trial is a haunting reminder: monsters don't always show up in the dark. Sometimes, they wear white coats and hand you a smoothie. If you're following this trial, or just now catching up — this is everything you need to know.
