We are with special guest, and long-time fan, Treena Jai! Check on your friends who are visiting their families this holiday. All of us are not okay. Whew! Treena Jai is a passionate psychotherapist and healer who understands how to identify pain and navigate onto a trajectory of healing. She is a graduate student of the Chicago School of Professional Psychology pursuing a Ph.D. in International Psychology. In the corporate world, she has serves as a Clinical Intervention Specialist for students providing in-class therapeutic services to impact their social emotional status while they develop academically. In her volunteer season, she served youth, children and their families as a conflict liaison and mentor. Treena Jai has traveled around the globe as a student of Psychoanalysis, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and the Humanities. These opportunities have afforded her experiences of co-facilitating group therapy sessions in the communities of Johannesburg, South Africa and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Treena Jai has also served as a community development consultant for Gift of the Givers NGO in Johannesburg, SA. Lastly, she enjoys living and loving unapologetically while standing for the rights of Black/Brown folx, her siblings within the Trans and LGBTQ community, and all the other injustices on the face of this earth.

Sepi serves as an appointed Business License Commissioner for the City of West Hollywood and an appointed Member of the LA County Assessor's Advisory Council. She is a past co-president of the LGBT Bar Association of Los Angeles during which she was interviewed on CNN on the Jane Valez Mitchell show about Hate Crimes. She currently serves on the Steering Committee of the Human Rights Campaign LA as Co-Chair of Community Engagement. Sepi ran for West Hollywood City Council in March of 2019 and came within 141 votes of beating a two-term incumbent and plans to run again for the November 2020 election. She lives in West Hollywood with her wife and their fur-babies.
