Armed activists with a coalition of black self-defense groups marched in Austin, Texas over the weekend calling for an end to illegal immigration and demand reparations for descendants of enslaved people. They claim they are not all republicans nor democrats but either way they demand that President Biden close the borders because 'We do have a problem with illegal immigration,' an activist says. 'Because a lot of times, jobs are taken away from Black people. Black people are locked out from employment due to illegal immigration.' --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/the-cj-bronson-show/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/the-cj-bronson-show/support

This is the third episode of By The People, The Bay podcast’s new series highlighting the way democracy shows up in the places around us, and how we can all plug in. A vote in Oakland today goes farther than it did prior to 1980. That’s when voters passed Measure H, which moved the city from at-large to district-based elections . The change was huge for Black and brown voters, who now had the opportunity to elect candidates from their neighborhoods instead of being represented by white men backed by money and power. The reason why Measure H passed can be traced back through decades of organizing by Black activists seeking political representation. Guest: Darwin BondGraham, editor of The Oaklandside Read the transcript here. You can read Darwin’s full article here Donate to KQED and support The Bay or subscribe to our weekly newsletter!
Frustration boiled in the spring in reaction to George Floyd's death in Minneapolis and other police-involved deaths of Black people elsewhere. Those deaths motivated action on just about every level of Rochester, from a newly minted government commission on structural racism to mass protests in the streets . Kevin Myles has seen this before. He’s the southeast regional director of the national NAACP and works with 600 branches between Mississippi and the Atlantic Coast. Myles said different generations often use different tactics when civil rights-related protests erupt.

Dr. Corsi interviews black activists Dr. Randy Short and Mark Carter as they expose the "Chicago Machine" - the decades old system of nepotism, cronyism, and patronage that plagues our inner cities. White and black elite families named Biden, Pelosi, and Jackson rule the streets. Jobs only go to family members and their network of friends. Ordinary blacks are forced into lives based on selling drugs, stealing, and incarceration. Support for President Trump in the black community is a closely held secret. Trump's "First Step Act," reversing actions by the Clintons to ensure "Super Predator" blacks are incarcerated, signaled to the black community that Trump is on their side, as thousands of blacks sentenced to lengthy terms of hard bondage for minor offenses enabled early release of non-violent offenders. Carter pleads with President Trump to meet with black community leaders on the ground in cities like Chicago to hear the truth about what is happening, and possible solutions. Democrats have used race as a weapon in the black community to brainwash generation after generation of blacks to believe that white Republicans are the cause of all of their problems, when in reality it is Democrats, and particularly black Democrats who are at the heart of the evil. In 1904, Dr. Henry Minton and five colleagues in Philadelphia formed the first African -American Greek Secret Society "The Boule." Pronounced "boo-lay," and fashioned after the Skull and Bones society of white elites at Yale, the Boule has since been the leadership cabal of Black Americans to this day. From Jesse Jackson to Barack Obama, The Boule bring together a select group of educated Black men and women to advance and prosper in return for loyalty to its objectives: ensuring the upper tenth of Blacks live the good life as Boule members, while the majority of disenfranchised Blacks live like slaves. Members of the Boule pose as freedom fighters and civil rights activists like Elijah Cummings and Maxine Watters while turning every trick to their personal gain. The Boule is another branch of the army of darkness, destroying souls (any anyone who opposes them) to further their nefarious goals. Guns, drugs, and violence are the weapons used to pit blacks against blacks, and blacks against whites as the chaos feeds their power quest. The story of Jeffrey Epstein is filled with mysteries connected to powerful people in the US. After his alleged suicide last year, the stories of a powerful international pedophile ring started to slow down but the story that was never picked up was that Epstein was working for Israeli intelligence. This story is still being covered up and we’ll see what happens now Ghislaine Maxwell has been jailed. The psychopaths at the top are always creating new examples of how corporations put profit over lives, and the FBI is still spying on black activists while the police let white supremacists get away with open violence in the streets. The meat industry faked a meat shortage earlier this year to justify keeping their factories open throughout the pandemic. This act put their workers at risk on multiple levels. Anders Lee and Lee discuss the power of police unions, a British Labour Party MP being sacked for sharing facts about the Israeli occupation of Palestine, and more.

In 2017, a leak from the FBI revealed they were targeting black activists organizing to end racist policies and practices calling them "Black Identity Extremists." This is consistent with the FBI's long history of investigating and harassing black and brown activists. Organizations like Media Justice and the ACLU have been working to get information from the FBI about what they are doing and who they are targeting but the FBI has been putting barriers in their way. We speak with Myaisha Hayes of Media Justice about what they have learned so far and its impact on activists. Hayes also discusses their efforts to urge Congress to stop federal funding for surveillance of people exercising their constitutional rights and to educate activists about ways to protect themselves. In this "lost tapes" episode, Derrick and I discuss Kaepernick, the history of the activist athletes, and white owners in the NFL. Originally, recorded in April 2018, this was our first attempt at the podcast. We had some mic problems, so we didn't drop it. However, with the recent news of Dolphins owner Stephen M. Ross supporting Trump, despite the fact that Ross has a social justice organization (Rise), we thought it was a great time to drop this gem. We talk Malcolm X, NFL owners, and fox vs. wolves.

Dr. Melina Abdullah Discusses Persecution Of Black Activists by Sojourner Truth with Margaret Prescod
For over two years, the U.S. government has been investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election - interference broadly considered to be in favor of candidate Donald Trump. As a result, a bizarre flip has occurred with the Right and Left: Polls show liberals now trust the FBI and CIA, while many right-wingers – though by no means all – suddenly act concerned about the so-called “deep state.” Liberals have been turned into even more extreme hawks, not just on the issue of Russia, but anything that shores up support for American intelligence agencies broadly seen, fair or not, as a check on the unhinged Trump administration. Given that so much of RussiaGate coverage is about the alleged manipulation of Black activists, anti-fracking protesters, the Green Party –and even Bernie Sanders supporters - to attack Hillary Clinton and her campaign, the consequence has been the media, time and again, framing Leftist dissent as de facto Russian propaganda. Today we ask: how does the fever pitch of Russia coverage, in the aggregate, harm Black activists and movements? What are the historical antecedents for these red-baiting attacks? And how can Left solidarity work to dull the effects of these efforts to marginalize and delegitimize voices for justice? In Part II of this two-part RussiaGate episode, we are joined by Anoa Changa, host of The Way with Anoa podcast.
Abby and Robbie Martin talk to Anoa Changa, a progressive Black activist, attorney and host of "The Way with Anoa", about the NPR hit piece insinuating she is a Russian stooge, simply because she promoted her views on socialist radio shows hosted by Sputnik.
