It saddens me that two more school shootings happened before I could publish this podcast about recent gun violence in schools. Here are our thoughts on teaching to "gun violence kids"--students who have lived with the threat of gun violence since they started school. Life is about setting goals. You set a goal and reach it. Then, you set a new goal. We need a vision, however, to know what goals we need to set. Once we have a vision for what we want, we can focus on getting there. Students need to learn this, too. Start with a vision. Use the vision to set up a series of goals. Finally, identify the action steps to help you reach each goal.
