Hey everybody. I miss my little big (100lbs.) buddy very much. Here's an odd episode that I promise to follow up quickly with a not so odd one. There's no way of getting around it, death is sad. Sadness is part of life, but I remain grateful for everything and am driven to do things better in honor of my little fallen hero.
Hi everyone, It's been a while since I podcasted. The delay is mainly because every time I'd turn the mic on I'd have something to say about my recently dissolved relationship. I know that many of you want to hear about that, but I can only touch on these things for the moment.
Hi everyone. Me and my spouse broke up. Also, the dudes who thought they were sorcerers in the early 80's. For more episodes visit: http://atlanticradio.blogspot.com/

In this episode I talk about how my inner drill sergeant came across as too "militant" in my couples counseling class. I don't see why there should be a problem with firm and determined inner dialogue if that's what works for me. Furthermore, I cover my energy level in contrast to many people's around me in the first middle-class'ish neighborhood I've ever lived in. I've lived in this city for sixteen years, and I'm still having a culture clash. Lastly I talk about one of my anti-depression techniques. It's not really an anti-depression, as in it doesn't promise to make you feel better, but it's a technique that give you a much higher potential for feeling better. In a nutshell it's: Action can precede emotion. The technique is about how to use your wit to get you to act. One thing I forgot to mention in the podcast is that you can simply visualize yourself doing a task, in your minds eye. This will give you practice in seeing yourself do it. It won't get it done, but it will make it closer to "old hat" for you. For show notes and more episodes visit: http://atlanticradio.blogspot.com/2017/07/elucidate-no-91-g-talk-anti-depression.html
