Judging others seems to be as easy for us as breathing air, and yet, when we judge we create an inner turmoil that exacts energy from us and leaves us feeling drained and exhausted. When we can learn to manage our thoughts and step into grace instead of judgment, we will find that we grow into a space of overflow, a place where we feel energized and an abundance of love and compassion. Morning Mantra: "The right path will feel like relief not resistance."The best way to find out whether you're on the right path? Is to stop looking at the path and feel it instead.  Does it feel good? Does it feel like it aligns with your goal? Your values? Your best self? This doesn't mean that the right path is always easy. It means that the right path is the one you are willing to keep walking even when things get difficult.  It means you feel good about moving forward and you could care less about looking back.Only you know which is the right path. Because it's the one that ignites your passion. It fits your idea of happiness.  It doesn't question your self-worth or ask you to compromise who you are.Once you figured out what brings you joy, your purpose, your passion, you don't have to worry about finding the right path because basically any path will take you there.Just remember, if you find a path of no obstacles, it probably won't lead you anywhere. Set backs and detours ask you to decide how dedicated you are to continuing the journey.#BeOnYourPath

Are you feeling called to make a major life change but unsure if the signs you're receiving are real? In this heartfelt episode of Radio Medium, psychic medium Laura Lee tunes into Maureen's spirit connections, delivering powerful messages from departed loved ones, animal companions, and spiritual guides offering reassurance during a time of transition. Calling from California, Maureen receives validation from her parents in spirit along with the loving presence of her recently departed cat, Luna, reminding her that soul connections never truly end. Through evidential mediumship, spirit reveals how heightened sensitivities, emotional discomfort, and environmental stress can serve as intuitive signals guiding us toward healing, peace, and a new chapter in life. Laura Lee shares how spirit communication often appears through subtle confirmations—sounds, symbols, memories, and even signs like wind chimes—helping us recognize when we are being divinely guided toward the right place and timing. As Maureen considers relocating to find tranquility while staying connected to family, spirit emphasizes the importance of honoring personal well-being and trusting intuitive nudges that lead toward alignment and inner calm.

What if the “right path” isn't a single lane but a series of smart experiments? Carmen sits down with Juliana, her 17‑year‑old goddaughter, for a candid Gen X–Gen Z conversation about big choices, bigger pressures, and the real work of growing into your own voice. It's equal parts heart and homework: career dreams, changing majors, family expectations, and how to support teens without smothering them.We dig into what post‑high school planning actually feels like - four possible routes, clear ambitions, and the fear of picking wrong. Carmen shares how winding roads are normal, even strategic, when you stack skills and let experience refine your goals. Juliana keeps it real about why money matters, how saving builds confidence, and the bittersweet truth that some dream jobs (hello, teaching) don't pay like they should. Along the way we talk resilience - learning from a tough swim season, naming hidden strengths like karate and skiing, and shifting from comparison to growth. There's a message here for parents and mentors: advice lands better when it maps pros and cons, respects autonomy, and focuses on capability over control. We unpack generational differences around work and safety, practical ways to try paths without getting stuck, and the quiet power of giving space after conflict so relationships can reset. If you're navigating the leap from high school to what's next - or guiding someone who is - you'll find a grounded, hopeful playbook: choose a next step, iterate fast, save smart, and keep joy in the loop.If this resonated, follow the show, share it with a friend who's choosing their next step, and leave a quick review to help others find the conversation. You ever hit a stretch where everything feels HARD? Like no matter how much you pray… plan…push… Doors stay shut Momentum stalls Progress feels like dragging a boulder uphill Let's call it what it is — FRUSTRATING. And the lies start circling in your head: "You're off course. Maybe you missed it. Maybe you're not called to this." But here's the truth: Hard doesn't mean wrong. It might just mean God's working. Resistance doesn't always signal "stop." Sometimes, it's divine conditioning. Sometimes, it's your runway to rise. This week on the Coming Up Clutch with J.R.™ show, I'm flipping the script on struggle — and dropping a simple, yet powerful 3-step strategy that'll help you turn your resistance into your rocket fuel. So if you're tired of second-guessing your path, or if you're stuck in a season where nothing feels easy — then lock into this episode. Let's get it! In this episode, you will hear: How resistance and headwinds in life are often signs you're on the right path — not signals to stop The real story behind my failed business pivot and the bold truth that set me free Why David's wilderness battles prepared him to be a king — and what that means for your current struggles The biblical and scientific proof that resistance is essential for growth, not punishment A 3-step strategy to turn times of uncertainty into personal breakthroughs. A powerful mindset shift to help you stop chasing relief and start embracing the rise God is preparing you for. Key Quotes "David didn't become a warrior in the palace. He became a warrior in the wilderness. Resistance wasn't his punishment — it was his preparation." - J.R. "God uses headwinds to refine you and build you, not punish you. He uses them to help you take off to your next level in life." - J.R. "Stop seeing resistance as a red flag and start seeing it as an opportunity for refinement." - J.R. She also became inspired by one particular Mexican Gray Wolf nicknamed Trumpet, and is honored to be able to share her story. At the Wolf Conservation Center, while the workers are worried about the endangered species of Mexican Gray Wolves, two wolves who live there just want a pup of their own. Sadly, there are no puppies yet, and everyone has begun to give up hope.Based on true events surrounding the miraculous birth of one wolf pup at the Wolf Conservation Center, “Trumpet the Miracle Wolf Pup” will fill your whole family with hope, while starting a conversation with your kids about the importance of saving endangered species.REVIEWS“Especially and unreservedly recommended for family, daycare center, preschool, elementary school, and community library Wildlife themed picture book collections for children.” – Midwest Book Review“Beautifully illustrated throughout with the artwork of Maddy Moore, ‘Trumpet the Miracle Wolf Pup: Trumpet Becomes a Mom' from author and storyteller Leokadia George is an informative and fun read from cover to cover.” – Midwest Book Review“Parents will love Trumpet the Miracle Wolf Pup by Leokadia George, which is not only adorable and heart-warming, but also a touching story that educates children about the importance of protecting endangered species. It is sure to become animal lovers' go to children's book!” – Stacy Padula, award-winning and best-selling author of On the Right Path, Gripped, and Montgomery Lake High“I bought this book for myself, a supporter of reintroducing wolves back into the wilderness. It is a delightful story about an alpha pair of wolves at the wolf center in New York. The center was trying to breed them. No spoiler here. The illustrations are soft and sweet, and the story is uplifting . I recommend this book. It's a neat story, and proceeds support the wolf center in New York.” – Abby S., Amazon Reviewer“I just love this children's book. Finally not the big bad wolf story generations have grown up with. You will fall in love with Trumpet and her family. Beautifully illustrated, easy for children to read. I want to read more beautiful Trumpet and her family.” – Marlene B., Amazon Reviewer“A beautiful book written about a very special Mexican Gray Wolf by the name of Trumpet! Based on a real Mexican Gray Wolf living at the Wolf Conservation Center, this tells the amazing story of conservation work behind the scenes! Written by someone who works behind the scenes and has first hand experience, I found the book to be very educational (for myself!) and a wonderful introduction for children to the modern world of conservation science. If you've ever felt like marketing your therapy practice is confusing, intimidating, or just not your zone of genius, you're not alone. In this episode, I want to help you breathe a little easier about it. Marketing doesn't have to be reactive or overwhelming. It can be intentional, sustainable, and rooted in long-term success for your business and your peace of mind. Whether you're just opening your solo practice, looking to welcome more clients, or scaling into a group practice, my guest Kristie Plantinga and I talk honestly about what actually works when it comes to digital marketing for therapists. You'll hear how to keep your practice visible online, how to think about your return on investment, and which tools can help you track whether your efforts are truly bringing new clients your way. (00:14:21) “It's about, did I get a return on the investment that I put into this? It's the most important thing really, when you're working with a marketing company.” — Kristie Plantinga Kristie is the founder of Place Digital (formerly TherapieSEO) and a passionate advocate for helping therapists understand how online marketing really works. Together, we unpack what private practice owners need to know about SEO, Google Ads, and digital marketing strategy — all from a grounded, therapist-friendly perspective. Smart Marketing Strategies for Private Practice Therapists Marketing is one of the biggest investments you'll make in your practice — and it can feel risky when you don't know where to start. In this conversation, we explore how to make wise, informed choices about where to spend your time and money so you can build stability for years to come. (00:05:43) AI Tools Integrated with Google (00:07:44) Flawed Marketing and Hiring Strategy (00:12:52) Sustainable Growth Through SEO (00:13:57) Long-Term Perspective in Marketing (00:19:33) Tools to Demystify Marketing (00:22:44) Rethinking Marketing for Practice Owners (00:24:48) Big Investments, Big Returns (00:28:32) Google Ads vs. SEO Costs (00:33:17) Proactive Marketing for Therapists (00:34:32) Sustained Growth for Practices Google Ads vs. SEO: Choosing the Right Path for Your Therapy Practice As Kristie reminds us, Google is the gateway to the internet. Whether we love it or not, if potential clients can't find you there, your practice is essentially invisible. But there's a catch — Google isn't always a reliable partner for small businesses. Policies change overnight, and as therapists, we're rarely their priority. That's why we talk about investing in your marketing before you need it, rather than reacting when your caseload dips. Sustainable marketing is about planting seeds now for the clients you'll be serving six months from today. Kristie shares her honest take on Google Ads — calling Google “a selfish and unreliable partner” — and explains why SEO is a more sustainable, long-term investment. While ads can create short bursts of visibility, SEO helps you build an online foundation that continually attracts your ideal clients. How Much Should You Really Spend on Marketing? In this episode, Kristie and I walk through what a healthy marketing cycle looks like for different stages of private practice. We talk about setting a budget that feels aligned, tracking what's really working, and investing in strategies that will continue to pay off over time. Marketing decisions made from fear rarely lead to growth that lasts. Instead, we can learn to make calm, confident, and informed choices about where to invest our energy and resources. Can we get real for a second? So many entrepreneurs are waiting to feel "ready." Waiting for the right gear, the right timing, the right confidence. But here's the thing… you'll never have enough. In this short but mighty episode, I'm sharing a powerful snippet from a past conversation with my friend Ken Coleman—also known as America's Career Coach—and whew, it's a gut check. We talk about:The myth that you need more experience, tools, or permission to start. Why being uncomfortable is part of the assignment if you're growing. The real truth about imposter syndrome (spoiler: it never goes away). And my personal “3 M's” that I lean on when the fear tries to creep in.This is a message for anyone who's sitting on a dream because they're afraid of being judged, failing publicly, or starting messy.Let me remind you: people will always have an opinion—whether you sit on the couch or start that business, whether you win or fail. So if you're going to be judged anyway, you might as well be judged while chasing your purpose.Let's normalize failing forward. Let's normalize standing up after getting knocked down—again and again. Because the people you see “winning” didn't avoid failure… they just kept getting up.The next time fear whispers, “Who are you to do this?” I want you to flip it and ask, “Who am I not to?”This episode is a short pep talk, a rally cry, and a reminder that your purpose doesn't need permission.Let's stop waiting. Let's start doing.Click play to hear all of this and:[00:36] Why we believe we need more than we actually do to start[01:19] “You'll never feel like enough”—what we must accept to grow[01:52] People will always have opinions—do it anyway[02:56] The truth about getting knocked down (and getting up again)[03:43] The 3 M's that helped me move past imposter syndrome[04:24] Why your message, your medium, and you still matter
