What does tuning into your intuition have to do with growing your business? Answer - A LOT! Because your intuition is your guide. It is your inner voice that we can so often leave as a whisper. When we tune into the whisper. When we quieten down the noise so we can hear it speak louder, we we do that, we start getting really aligned and intentional in our decisions and that is when the magic flow of business starts happening. In this episode I share two questions that I ask myself when I come to make a decision and how I tune into my inner voice, (hello intuition) to allow it to be heard. ---- If you are ready to get aligned in your business, come join me for Align & Activate, my new group coaching container >>> Read more here >>> https://emmaetheridge.com/alignandactivate Emma x

Welcome to today's episode where I am talking about finding the balance between perfectionism and just getting the work done! We can easily fall into overwhelm and procrastination as business owners and we can (sometimes) use this as an excuse, a reason, for not getting our work out into the world and today I am talking about my recent experience of finding the balance of getting something perfect and getting it good enough. We have to be alignment with what we are doing and for me, this comes with really KNOWING that what I am putting out there is my best work - it really helps me show up and talk about the thing that I am talking about. This helps me feel confident, it helps me feel in alignment and it helps me feel really proud of what I have done. It is OK for things to take a little time if they need to. If that time is not procrastination but is more letting the idea percolate and strengthen - so you can infuse more of you into what you are doing. So if you are feeling lost in overwhelm a little or feeling like you are not moving forward on something that you have been thinking about for a while, this episode will help you. Come and join the conversation over in the Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/emmaetheridgeinsiders Enjoy the show! Emma x

You know the excuses we make that are empty excuses. They are not real but we use them all the time to let ourselves off the hook for doing the things that we KNOW will have an impact on what we are aiming to achieve. What if, just for 30 days, you went all-in on one thing and removed the pressure of the outcome. What if you just played. You tried things out, you experimented, you only took action that felt good (even if a bit stretchy). We have so much pressure on our shoulders all of the time and this can really stifle your inspiration and creativity. What if you just removed that pressure for the next 30 days, removed the pressure on the outcome, and see what happened? In today's podcast, I chat about playing in your business. I hope you enjoy the show. Emma x Links mentioned in the chat: https://www.facebook.com/groups/emmaetheridgeinsiders/
As we start to get back into the rhythm of life it is important to step back and see what you have learnt over the past few months. As we start to pick up the pace of life a little, I wanted to take a moment to pause and just notice what I want to take into the next chapter of life for me. The past few months have forced us to slow down, to stop even, and I am really conscious that I don't want to just get "back to normal" without honouring some of the things that I have enjoyed and treasured as a family during the past months. So I thought I would do a chat about it in the podcast today. What slowness do you want to take with you as we pick up the pace again? Emma x
What is the worst that could happen? This feels like quite a sticky question right now but it is one that I have asked myself a lot today. I probably shouldn't admit this but I am a massive over thinker and procrastinator and I really have to work on not being either of those things to make sure I keep moving forward and not getting stuck in the weeds of my business. As I am sitting here today getting lost into the feelings of overwhelm (it doesn't happen a lot but it does catch me every now and then) I just asked myself the question "What is the worst that could happen Emma?" and it made me realise that I just need to get on and take the action. So I thought I would record a short podcast for you about it because that is what the Emma Chat's podcast is all about. Those little conversations I would have with you if we were sitting in a coffee shop together. And I thought this question and my thinking about this question may help you move forward today. Emma x

For me, one of the biggest personal challenges I face is about eating nourishing food that makes me feel good whilst also trying to do all the things that life is made up of. And I know I am not alone with struggling with this balance which is why I invited Mel onto the podcast. The tea and toast diet. The mindless eating. The rush of life. This is a really lovely conversation about things that you may very well resonate with, so come and have a listen. She helps women to heal their relationship with food and their body. Mel believes your health and self worth cannot be measured by BMI or the bathroom scales. They also don't help you understand how your lived experiences and emotions affect your body and food choices. Learning to let go of eating rules and external expectations allows you to plug back into your intuition, listen to your body and meet more of its needs. That's where better emotional and physical health lies. And yes that may mean having biscuits with your cuppa! Enjoy the show Emma x
