Although the COVID-19 pandemic has plunged the world into a state of uncertainty, it’s already inspired incredible generosity from philanthropists and funders. Many of the small black, Asian, multi-ethnic and refugee (BAMER) led nonprofits that we support aren’t directly involved in frontline efforts to stop the coronavirus but their work — serving the most disadvantaged members of society — has never been harder, and it must go on. Their economic struggle isn’t making headlines or mentioned in press conferences, but they must find ways to fundraise, often without any awareness of what is available and do so with even less capacity than ever. We cannot singlehandedly help them all, but we are committed to doing what we can. We’re compiling the relevant offers that are available and are making it available via the channels that will reach them. We've also set up a dedicated email address where they can reach out for advise and receive it, in a timely manner.
