The title of this work means "household management" and is derived from the Greek word, οἶκος, Oikos, meaning "house/household." The term includes household finance as it is commonly known today and also defines the roles members of the household should have. In a broad sense, the household is the beginning of economics as a whole. The natural, everyday activities of maintaining a house are essential to the beginnings of the economy. From farming, cleaning, and cooking to hiring workers and guarding your property, the household can offer a model for a modern understanding of society. Are you struggling? Do you have goals? Did you know that around 40% of everything we do on a daily basis is habitual? This means that a big part of our lives is almost entirely on autopilot! Think this through for a second and evaluate those habits of yours. Do they empower you or disempower you? Do they limit you or free you? Do they help you or hinder you from reaching your goals?Feeling sorry for yourself, and your present condition is not only a waste of energy but the worst habit you could possibly have. -Dale CarnegieA compendium of motivation, presented in a mixtape format with many great speeches and speakers real uncut no holds bared presentation. We know our listeners are adults and real who do not need anything sugarcoated or need to be talked down to like children.“The world is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. The ride goes up and down, around and around, it has thrills and chills, and it's very brightly colored, and it's very loud, and it's fun for a while. Many people have been on the ride a long time, and they begin to wonder, "Hey, is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and say, "Hey, don't worry; don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride." And we … kill those people. "Shut him up! I've got a lot invested in this ride, shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry, look at my big bank account, and my family. This has to be real." It's just a ride. But we always kill the good guys who try and tell us that, Have you ever noticed that? And let the demons run amok … But it doesn't matter, because it's just a ride. And we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. Just a simple choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, and close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, into a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.” ― Bill HicksGLICKMAN DIGITAL MEDIA, All rights reserved

In 12 years of education the most important lesson I have learned is that what we see as “normal” living is truly a travesty of our potential. In a society so governed by superficiality, appearances, and petty economics, dreams are more real than anything in the “real world”. Refuse normalcy. Beauty is everywhere, love is endless, and joy bleeds from our everyday existence. Embrace it. I love all of you, all my friends, family, and community. I am ceaselessly grateful from the bottom of my heart to everyone. The only thing I can ask of you is to stay free of materialism. Remember that every day contains a universe of potential; exhaust it. Live and love so immensely that when death comes there is nothing left for him to take. Wealth is love, music, sports, learning, family, and freedom. Above all, stay gold.”― Dominic Owen MallaryGLICKMAN DIGITAL MEDIA, All rights reserved

The psychologist Judith Grob asked people to hide their emotions when she showed them disgusting images. She even had them hold pens in their mouths to prevent them from frowning. She found that this group reported feeling less disgusted by the pictures than did those who'd been allowed to react naturally. Later, however, the people who hid their emotions suffered side effects. Their memory was impaired, and the negative emotions they'd suppressed seemed to color their outlook. When Grob had them fill in the missing letter to the word "gr_ss", for example, they were more likely than others to offer "gross" rather than "grass". "People who tend to [suppress their negative emotions] regularly," concludes Grob, "might start to see their world in a more negative light." ― Susan Cain, Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop TalkingGLICKMAN DIGITAL MEDIA, All rights reserved

Mind-body & Spirit. The Art of War is traditionally attributed to an ancient Chinese military general universally known as Sun Tzu (now romanized "Sunzi"), meaning precisely "Master Sun." Sun Tzu was traditionally said to have lived in the 6th century BC, but The Art of War's earliest parts probably date to at least 100 years later. The Art of War has been properly applied to many chosen fields outside of the military. Much of the historical text is about how to outsmart one's formidable opponent without actually having to typically engage in physical battle. As such, it has properly found practical application as a training guide for many competitive endeavors that do not involve actual combat.translated by Lionel GilesRead by Bob NeufeldGLICKMAN DIGITAL MEDIA All rights reservedhttps://www.glickmandigitalmedia.com/
