Many times frustration is caused by exhaustion or overstimulation. Today, we look at real ways to reduce your distractions, find a calmer mind, and be stronger in training. We are under a continual assault of information and, at some point, we have to ask: do we have enough information yet? So much of training and racing is being in the moment and at one with yourself, but how do we get there? We'll talk about some good ways to find your true self, appreciate who you are and respect your journey. Training should be a vehicle to build your energy, not take it away. It should be hard, but not miserable. Topics: Busy racing weekend! ✨ New Podcast Episode! ✨Could your clutter be creating stress and blocking the things you want most in life? This week on Healthy Living with Yoga Anita, I chat with Korrina Djerbaka, home organizer, Feng Shui expert, and Reiki practitioner. After discovering how her own cluttered space was contributing to anxiety, Korrina created a business that helps others transform their homes and their lives.Using her S.P.A.C.E. organizing method and Feng Shui principles, Korrina helps clients clear clutter, create supportive environments, and align their homes with their biggest goals and dreams.
Is your home office working for you — or against you? In this solo episode, Janet Taylor, your Life Organizer, walks you through seven practical steps to take back control of your workspace, clear the clutter, and create an office environment that actually supports howyou work and live. Whether you work from home full-time, manage household paperwork, or just need a space that helps you think clearly — this episode is for you. In this episode Janet covers: Step 1: Create a retention schedule — talk to your tax professional, attorney, or financial advisor to know exactly what you need to keep and what you can finally let go. Step 2: Start with the outer areas — the corners, floor space, bookshelves, and ledges you haven't touched in months. Step 3: Clear off your desk — everything comes off, then only the daily essentials go back. Step 4: Clear the bookcase — are those books and periodicals still relevant to your life today? Step 5: Purge the filing cabinet — it should be functional, not a paper graveyard. Step 6: Find a shredding event or schedule time to shred — protect your personal information and free up space. Step 7: Repeat seasonally or quarterly — maintenance is so much easier than starting from scratch. Janet also shares this week's Organizing with Janet story — a virtual client session that started with three-and-a-half inch floppy disks and outdated binders, and ended with a fully functional, efficient workspace. Taylor's Tip Time: Set a 15-minute timer and tackle just one area of your home office this week. That is all it takes to get started. TossItTuesday: Janet is letting go of greeting cards she no longer feels attached to — some going back more than 30 years. Quote of the week: "A clear desk is not just about organization. It is a declaration that you are in control of your space, your time, and your focus." Clear the Clutter. Claim Your Power. It starts with your desk. "I've been looking for this kind of clarity in my life." In this episode, Tim talks with April Sunshine Hawkins (Former Co-Host of the Marketing Made Simple Podcast and Storybrand Private Workshop Instructor) about why most marketing fails and how to craft messages that actually resonate. April brings deep expertise from teaching the StoryBrand framework worldwide, plus insights on the internal blocks that sabotage even the smartest business owners. In this episode, Tim and April cover: • Why cognitive load kills your marketing—and how speaking in insider jargon instantly loses your audience • The PEACE framework that transforms confusing websites into customer magnets in five simple steps • How fear and ego create marketing that serves the business instead of the customer—and what self-awareness has to do with better sales Don't miss April's breakdown of why "people like us do things like this" means you should stop trying to appeal to everyone and start speaking directly to your ideal customer—because a message for everyone is a message for no one. —— Links from this episode: Q&A Episode: http://itsfiretime.com/ask —— Watch this podcast on YouTube: https://youtu.be/z_2bFUzpx4w Listen on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-fire-time-podcast/id1433804268 Listen on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4vHdzg48bE5qFf0KjMeMej?si=7b6cae3923d348f2 Read The Fire Time Magazine: https://www.itsfiretime.com/magazine Subscribe to The Fire Time Magazine: https://itsfiretime.com/subscribe Support The Fire Time Podcast financially: https://www.itsfiretime.com/join
The Love, Happiness and Success Podcast With Dr. Lisa Marie Bobby
Have you ever felt like every tab in your brain is open, and not one of them will close? That was Sam Yo at 23, the year before he walked away from a successful London stage career to spend years in a Thai Buddhist monastery. In this episode, I sit down with him for the conversation I needed when my own brain wouldn't stop running. Sam is now a Peloton instructor and the author of The Monk's Mindset (Blackstone, May 19, 2026). His arc, from London stage to Thai monastery to a global Peloton audience, was just featured in PEOPLE Magazine. He left a roller coaster of stage, sports car, and success because the noise inside had grown louder than the noise outside. What he learned in the silence is what he teaches his Peloton students and the readers of his new book: you don't need to escape your life to find stillness. You learn to carry it. We talk about why your overthinking isn't actually a thinking problem, what your nervous system is doing at two in the morning when you can't let a conversation go, and the small named practices that interrupt the spiral. Sam walks us through a 90-second breath exercise live on the recording, the three daily anchors he uses to keep himself tethered, and the three filters his teacher gave him to run before you react to anything. In This Episode Why your overthinking isn't a thinking problem (and what it actually is) The 4-2-6 breath that interrupts a 2 a.m. spiral in 90 seconds, walked through live on the episode The three daily anchors that quiet a restless mind: intention, reset, reflection The walking practice Sam's teacher gave him when he couldn't sit still and meditate How emptying your cup changes the way you listen in every relationship you have The three filters to run before you react: is it true, is it kind, is it necessary Why a Peloton ride teaches the same thing a Thai monastery taught Sam The teacher's lesson about a cut foot that reframes every setback as redirection This episode is for anyone who has lain awake at two in the morning replaying a conversation from earlier that day, wondering why their brain won't let it go. It is for the person who has downloaded three meditation apps and quit each one because the silence felt like one more thing to be good at. Sam's tools don't ask you to retreat from your life. They ask you to find the stillness that's already in it, in five breaths before you check your phone, in the warmth of a mug between your hands, in the sound of a broom on a kitchen floor. If your thoughts feel unsettled, or your mind feels pulled in different directions, this moment is for you. This is a prayer to steady your thinking and receive strength from God. We are praying from the words of Jesus in the Lord's Prayer — “Hallowed be Your name.” Father, as this morning continues, we gently turn our attention back to You. Not in a rush. Not in pressure. But with a quiet willingness to be still. Your name is holy. Above every thought. Above every feeling. Above every concern that tries to take our focus. You are steady. And Your Spirit within us brings calm, not confusion. So we pause here. We allow our thoughts to settle. We allow our breathing to slow. We allow our hearts to rest in You. And Your Word reminds us that You have given us a spirit not of fear— but of power, of love, and of a sound mind. So I release the unsettled thoughts. I release the tension I have been carrying. I release the quiet unease within me. I release it. And now, I receive. I receive a calm and steady mind. I receive strength to move through this day. I receive clarity in my thoughts and peace in my heart. I receive. And now I move forward gently. Not forced. Not hurried. But led by Your Spirit. Today, I will think clearly. I will respond calmly. I will walk in quiet strength. God is with you now. You are not alone in this moment. Across the world, wherever we are listening, You are bringing clarity and calm. From Lima to Accra, from Dubai to Manila, Your Spirit is steadying minds and strengthening hearts. Jesús, calma mi mente y fortalece mi espíritu hoy. Jesus Cristo, acalma a minha mente e fortalece o meu espírito hoje. Jesus, pinapatahimik Mo ang aking isip at pinalalakas ang aking puso. Father, we honour You. We centre ourselves in You. Ready to be productive without the pressure? In today's Elegant Productivity Meditation Series: Get More Done With Less Stress, you'll practice the Dhyana Mudra—a classic meditation hand position that helps signal stillness, steady attention, and a calm mind. This gentle meditation guides you to soften mental noise, organize your focus, and return to one clear priority at a time—so you can move through your day with more ease and less overwhelm. If you've been juggling too much or feeling scattered, this is your reset. Today's Technique: Dhyana Mudra Rest one hand in the other in your lap (palms up), thumbs lightly touching to form a soft oval. Let your breath slow, your shoulders drop, and your attention settle. Choose one next step for the day—simple, elegant, doable. Press play, take a few quiet minutes, and step back into your day feeling centered, clear, and capable. ABOUT THIS WEEK'S SERIES Welcome to the Elegant Productivity Meditation Series—a calming, results-oriented week designed to help you accomplish more with less stress. Each episode supports a different pillar of sustainable productivity: clarity, focus, energy, time, momentum, boundaries, and integration. You'll train your attention, reset your nervous system, simplify priorities, and build a graceful rhythm you can actually maintain—so productivity feels steady, spacious, and aligned. Best time to listen: morning planning, before deep work, mid-day reset, or after work to release mental clutter. Weekly intention: calm mind, clear priorities, consistent follow-through—without burnout. Each day, send one tiny ripple of kindness: silently offer a loving-kindness phrase to yourself, a neutral person, and a difficult moment (not necessarily a difficult person). In this episode, I challenge the assumption that clarity is something you create through effort. We explore why the instinct to manage yourself under pressure often narrows your thinking instead of sharpening it. You'll hear why peak performance comes from reducing internal interference, not increasing control. This isn't about lowering standard, it's about removing the friction that quietly degrades them. Less internal noise. More intelligent leadership. In today's episode, I share the leadership skill nobody ever trained us for yet it shapes everything. I explore why leadership is emotional before it's intellectual, and how people respond to your state long before your words. You'll hear why trying to control outcomes often backfires, and what actually creates steadiness and influence. This episode is for anyone leading under pressure who wants to reduce friction instead of creating it. Real leadership doesn't start with what you say - it starts with how you show up, inside. Using her “body as a bucket” analogy, she describes how toxins accumulate over time—eventually overflowing into symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, and migraine pain. Her approach focuses on two empowering strategies: 1️⃣ Stop adding toxins: Reduce exposure at home. 2️⃣ Detoxify naturally: Support the body through gentle daily habits and stress reduction.

Here is another one that I found with the theme of always trying to get better. From Kevin DeShazo (@KevinDeShazo) “A stressed mind leads to inconsistent actions. A calm mind leads to consistent actions. Win the mental battle. Make your mindset your advantage.” The mental battle of life is something that I am at least more aware of now that I've been connected to more information about its importance and how so many people don't pay attention to that importance. It's something we all can improve at since it's our own individual mind that we are talking about. One of the big problems is that we are so busy trying to deal with a stressed and cluttered mind that we don't connect to things like this. I need to keep working on having my mindset be one of my strengths and not something that I have to fight with. Thanks for listening. This is me, the mic, ya'll listening, no notes and whatever is on my mind. Thanks for listening, take what you want, leave the rest. In this episode I talk about my experience of being on the carnivore diet for 7 weeks now. The ups and downs, the pros and cons. Enjoy! Take a moment and check out these great companies! Highspeed Daddy: https://www.highspeeddaddy.com/?rfsn=7178368.317ce6 Live Rishi: Use the code "TABLE50" and get 50% off your entire order - https://liverishi.com/ Me: https://berawpodcast.com/ 'til next time, keep kickin ass! Ah yes, the carnivore diet — the "crazy, unsustainable" way of eating that's somehow completely transformed my health over the past two months. Who knew ditching kale and quinoa for steak and eggs would actually make me feel human again? Shocking, right? While everyone else is choking down green smoothies and pretending to enjoy chickpeas, I'm over here thriving on ribeye and butter. My inflammation? Gone. My energy? Through the roof. My cravings? What are those? Turns out, I don't need a side of anxiety with my avocado toast after all. Of course, the plant-based crowd loves to call this “dangerous” and “unbalanced.” Because, you know, eating real, nutrient-dense food that humans have survived on for thousands of years is clearly more reckless than stuffing your face with processed soy burgers and seed oil dressing. Makes perfect sense. Look, I get it. It sounds extreme to some. But honestly, what's more extreme — eating the diet we evolved on or trusting the same food industry that's been pumping out sugar-laden garbage for decades? I'll stick with my steak, thanks. My body's happy, my mind's clear, and my abs are starting to show. But hey, enjoy your kale chips.

In this episode, I share game-changing tips for starting the week with a clear mind, as taught by the great Mel Robbins.
As I’m sure you’re keenly aware, people are extremely divided these days. From our politics, to our attitudes, to our ways of speaking about others, we are growing more and more polarized—and mutually destructive. On this episode of The Gathering Room podcast, I’m talking about how upset many of us feel, why that upset is not always coming from a place we can trust, and what we can do about it.Once upon a time, they invented something called the internet. And on the internet, social media began to play out. And these platforms soon figured out that we pay more attention to things that upset us, so they started feeding us more and more upsetting content.Because we evolved to be social creatures who are super susceptible to group influence, we’re basically hardwired to want to agree with the group, even if it means pretending to see things differently than we actually do.Add all that evolutionary and psychological background to social media, and you soon get social media algorithms that keep us online by stoking constant outrage and fear. We’re terrified of being bullied and looking for people to back us up, so we consume more and more information that’s designed to upset us. Then we lash out in a way that feels like self-defense, but it looks to other people like we’re attacking them. It’s a vicious cycle where everyone feels attacked by everyone else.A lot of us feel vulnerable and outraged and afraid of the future and of other people right now. It’s been so exaggerated by our media and our social media that we’ve lost our sense of truth in all of this. And when you get people off their basic sense of truth, they will do almost anything. They will attack other people and leave their own ethics in the dust. When you lose your sense of truth, suddenly everything bobs and sways and there’s nothing real to stand on.Everything is spinning and slanting and trying to get you to feel a certain way, but the only feeling that you can really build a life on is peace. So, how can you get to peace in an increasingly polarized world? Find out on this episode of The Gathering Room, where I’ll share the one statement I’ve found to be most grounding and true, how to make peace your primary goal in all interactions, and how peace can give you the strength and clarity you need to navigate life’s challenges. We’ll also do our guided Space, Silence, and Stillness meditation to recalibrate ourselves toward clear minds, quiet hearts, and peace. Episode 340 Show Notes Topic of the show: Mental Health in Aviation by SGAC CB On this week's show, AG and RH discuss the giant Penguin in the room: mental health. We have strong feelings about this topic and want to normalize the conversation to help remove the stigma associated with mental health issues in aviation. The FAA formed a mental health and aviation medical clearances rulemaking committee and said “Implementing the recommendations associated with these barriers will set the stage for a seismic shift in how the industry perceives and manages the risks associated with mental health conditions.” We normally keep our show topics fun and entertaining but we feel it's important to speak up about the issue and normalize the difficult conversations. Timely Feedback: 1. Patron PV asks AG to recount his briefly mentioned story about the scope going dark. 2. Patron TW provides insight into why RH's commute home was terrible. 3.
