Here Comes The Pitch Podcast

Recorded a year ago, the two of us talk about our love of films such as: Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Batteries Not Included, E.T., and Wizard. We talk about our deep love of Horror movies. I share with him a story idea that was meant for my podcast "Here Comes the Pitch." Jay was a great supporter of creativity. He cheered me on to all of my creative endeavors especially this podcast. I love you, man!! I'm glad I got to record a lot of episodes with him, but unfortunately this is the last one I have to release. I hope these recordings will bring you some joy with Jay! Enjoy!!!

In episode twenty-seven the host, Derk Harron, pitches a Horror story called, "DUNGEON" to his guests Birdie Birdashaw and SCUM of Tempe. Derk would compare this story to the movies, "Antichrist" and "Audition."

In episode twenty-six, Birdie Birdashaw pitches a Rom-Com called, "Love's Song" to host, Derk Harron, and Scum of Tempe. Derk would compare this story to the movies, "Ladies and Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains" and "Before Sunrise."

In episode twenty-five the host, Derk Harron, pitches a Sci-Fi Horror idea called, "RUN & HIDE" to my guests Birdie Birdashaw and SCUM of Tempe. Derk would compare this story to the movies, "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" and "The Monster."

In episode twenty-four the host, Derk Harron, pitches a scary monster story called, "Cthulhu Lake" to his guest DeShawn Malone which was a practice pitch before episode one with Stuart Johnson. Derk would compare this story to the movies, "Jaws" and "Godzilla."

In episode twenty-three the host, Derk Harron, piitches a dramedy called "Cats are AWESOME" to his guest Rosemary Malone. Derk would comare this story to the movies, "The Secret Life of Pets" and "The Fighter."

In episode twenty-two, Chris Warmuth, pitches a Horror video game idea called, "Bloodline." The host, Derk Harron would compare this story to the video games, "Assassin's Creed" and "Castlevania."

In episode twenty-one the host, Derk Harron, pitches a drama called, "8-Bit Road Trip" to his guest Chris Warmuth. I would compare this story to the movies, "The Wizard" and "The Commitments." 

In episode twenty, Latique Curry, pitches a Horror story called, "BELLE." The host, Derk Harron, would compare this story to the film, "American Werewolf in London," and the television series, "The Incredible Hulk."

In episode nineteen the host, Derk Harron, pitches a Sci-Fi Action story called, "The Champion" to his guest, Latique Curry. Derk would compare this story to the movies, "Gladiator" and "Independence Day."

In episode eighteen the host, Derk Harron, continues his conversation with Tone Rodriguez and Nick Harron about teaching, creating art, and our admiration for professional comic book artist Tony Parker.

In episode seventeen the host, Derk Harron, pitches a Dark Sci-Fi Comedy called, "The People vs. The Toaster" to his guest Tone Rodriguez and Nick Harron. Derk would compare this story to the movies, "A Few Good Men" and "A.I. Artificial Intelligence." 

In episode sixteen, Al Sparrow pitches a Horror story called, "PLANET HELL." The host, Derk Harron, would compare this story to the movies, "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey" and "What Dreams May Come."

In episode fifteen the host, Derk Harron, pitches a dark comedy, "CUPID" to his guest Al Sparrow. Derk would compare this story to the movie, "Dogma" and the TV series, "Cheers."

In episode fourteen, Jeff Young pitches a Horror Trilogy called, "MANTOOTH: The Mantooth," "MANTOOTH 2: Mantooth Again," and "MANTOOTH 3: Son of Mantooth, MANTEETH." The host, Derk Harron, would compare these stories to films, "Toxic Avenger," and "Alien."

In episode twelve, Brad Duwire, pitches a dark comedy called, "The Exterminator." The host, Derk Harron, would compare this story to the films, "Cable Guy" and "Repo Man."

In episode eleven the host, Derk Harron pitches a dark comedy called, "The Helper" to his guest Brad Duwire. Derk would compare this story to the movies, "Fargo" and "A Simple Plan."

In episode ten, Matt Reveles pitches a psychological sci-fi thriller call, "SLOWER" with Jason Bianco-Starnes. The host, Derk Harron, would compare this story to the movies, "Cashback" and "Being John Malkovich."

In episode nine the host, Derk Harron, pitches a horror story called, "The Town of Heinrich" to his guests Jason Bianco-Starnes and Matt Reveles. Derk would compare this story to the movies, "Disturbing Behavior" and "Silent Hill."

In episode eight, Jason Bianco-Starnes, pitches a psychological thriller called, "The Traveler" with Matt Reveles. The host, Derk Harron, would compare this pitch to the films, "Due Date" and "Fight Club."

In episode seven the host, Derk Harron, pitches suspense thriller called, "Apart of Me" to his guest Jason Bianco-Starnes. Derk would compare this story to movies such as "Regarding Henry" and "Misery."

In episode six, Nicholas Harron pitches a psychedelic comedy called, "The Haze." The host, Derk Harron would compare this story to the films, "Inception" and "Half Baked."

In episode five the host, Derk Harron, pitches a Sci Fi Comedy called, "Hites Hotel" to his guest Nicholas Harron. Derk would compare this story to movies such as, "Mom and Dad Save the World" and "The Great Outdoors" starring John Candy.

In episode four, Russ Kazmierczak, pitches a dark comedy thriller called, "Fallapart." The host, Derk Harron would compare this story to the film 'The Fugitive" and The Tales From The Crypt episode, "Lower Birth."

In episode three the host, Derk Harron, pitches a superhero story, "The Helmet" to his guest Russ Kazmierczak. Derk would compare this story to the movie, "The Fly" directed by David Cronenberg and the graphic novel, "The Dark Knight Strikes Again."

In episode two, Stuart Johnson, pitches a television action drama series called, "Retribution." The host, Derk Harron, would compare this story to the film "Nevada Smith" starring Steve McQueen and the Netflix series "The Punisher."
