Bill und Ted verlassen nicht nur die 1980er Jahre, sondern sogar die Welt der Lebenden!
[School of Movies 2021] We got some real love for our Excellent Adventure show. It seems like you folks were responding to the pure joy threaded throughout, so let's see what we can do for the black sheep of the B&T Trilogy. This sequel turned up just two years after the first, having been hastily greenlit when executives got dollar signs in their eyes and saw franchise potential. The writers began with a re-tread of the original, where the duo went through great works of literature and dragged out the characters for yet another school report. Then when they got to Moses and company from religious texts, it was decided this should get more metaphysical. So it became "Bill & Ted Go to Hell" and the rest of the film was written around how that could have happened. Who killed them? Why a pair of evil, robot doubles from the future! It did not delight audiences. But as we delve deeper than even Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson could have predicted we would like to present to you, some of the reasons why this movie is actually not Bogus at all. Tweet us @SchoolofMovies with what you think about Station. Guests: Rachel Schenk @IAMRachelQuirky from Screen Snark and Scott Thomas @OGScottieT from And the Winner Is BOTH also from The Infinity Podcast Jesse Ferguson @TheDapperDM from the Recorded Tomorrow Podcast

Gareth and Andy embark on a most unprecedented expedition to the after-life with everyone's favourite dumb rockers, Bill & Ted. But do we find this Bogus Journey a hell of a time or is it simply a hellish time? Listen on to find out.
Once... they made history. Then... they made a sequel. Directed by Pete Hewitt, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey is the second film in the Bill & Ted franchise, and a sequel to Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. That Film Stew's Luke and Nathan revisit the second adventure of the Wyld Stallyns (well before they create a utopian future society) back in 1991. Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, and George Carlin are back! Tyrant De Nomolos (Joss Ackland), a villain from the future, creates evil android doubles of Bill and Ted and sends them back to eliminate the originals. Bill and Ted must go to hell, take on Death and Satan, return home, and win the Battle of the Bands.
In preparation for Bill and Ted Face The Music, we watched Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey! We get into the specifics of foam footballs, beating the Reaper at games and smoking in the hardware store!
Mike and Mike gift you guys one from the heart...In this new world we need to embrace the brightest timeline that is this film and Wild Wyld Stallyns. The world of our distant future is a veritable utopia, thanks to the lyrics of two simple-minded 20th Century rock and rollers, Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted "Theodore" Logan. However, a would-be conquerer threatens to throw history off-track by sending "most non-non-heinous" evil robot Bill and Teds back to kill their good counterparts. Once... they made history. Now... they are history.
Mike and Max discuss the time travel in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey.
