POSTGAME: Titans LOSE to the COLTS 41-20 - 0-3....WHY????????????? NASHVILLE – Titans fans will not want to remember the 21st day of this September. That's because the Colts came to town and had way too much fun while handing the Titans a 41-20 loss at Nissan Stadium. The Titans were forced to play catch up from the start on Sunday, and they couldn't do it.Now they're faced with having to dig out of a hole after falling to 0-3 on the season.Titans quarterback Cam Ward completed 23-of-38 passes for 219 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He was sacked four times in the contest. On defense, the Titans couldn't stop the Colts. Indianapolis running back Jonathan Taylor ran for 102 yards and three touchdowns, and quarterback Daniel Jones threw for 228 yards and a score. The Titans couldn't sustain drives, and kicked too many field goals.Once again, it was not a recipe for success.Sunday's game got off to an ominous start, as the Colts returned Ward's first interception of the season for a touchdown on the game's opening series. It was Kenny Moore who stepped in front of a Ward pass intended for Tony Pollard, and he returned it 33 yards to make it 7-0 just 49 seconds into the game. The Titans got three points back in less than two minutes, however, when kicker Joey Slye made a 57-yard field goal to cap off a short drive. The Colts then scored 10 straight point, first on a 24-yard field goal by kicker Spencer Shrader, and then on a one-yard touchdown run by Taylor to make it 17-3.Another Slye field goal, this one from 42 yards, made it 17-6 with 10:50 left in the second quarter. The two teams both missed field goals in the second quarter, including a 64-yard attempt by Slye, which was his first miss of the season.Slye later missed another long field goal after a forgettable possession late in the first half, and the Colts kicked another field goal to lead 20-6 at the half.Things got worse, before they got better. And on this day, things never really got better. The Colts stretched the lead to 27-6 on a 20-yard touchdown pass from Jones to receiver Michael Pittman early in the third quarter. The Titans answered with a long scoring drive of their own, and capped it off with a one-yard touchdown run by Pollard to make it 27-13 with 5:09 left in the third quarter. But a 46-yard touchdown run by Taylor made it 34-13 Colts with 1:27 left in the third quarter.Ward then directed a 16-play, 77-yard drive that he capped off with an eight-yard touchdown pass to Elic Ayomanor to make it 34-20 with 8:40 left in the contest before another touchdown run by Taylor made it 41-20 with 5:53 left. The Titans return to action next Sunday at the Houston Texans. Send us a textRUN, EAT, DRINK, and Celebrate Jeff Galloway's 80th birthday with us!Jeff Galloway, famously known as "America's Coach" and Olympic athlete, is about to achieve something remarkable that no one else has done before – running marathons across eight decades of life. Now approaching his 80th birthday, Jeff shares his journey toward completing this historic milestone at the Honolulu Marathon this December.Behind this extraordinary achievement lies a deeply personal story of resilience. Jeff candidly discusses his recovery from heart failure and a heart attack, revealing how he adapted his renowned Run-Walk-Run method to accommodate his new cardiac reality. Starting with just three seconds of running at a time post-heart attack, he's now able to complete 13-mile training runs by carefully balancing short running segments with strategic walking breaks. His approach isn't just about survival – it's about thriving within new limitations while maintaining the mental benefits that made him fall in love with running decades ago.The Honolulu Marathon holds profound significance for Jeff beyond just being his eighth-decade marathon attempt. It's where he proposed to his wife Barbara nearly 50 years ago, where he stationed during his Navy service, and where he achieved one of his most memorable victories in 1974, defeating Olympic medalists Frank Shorter and Kenny Moore. Now, he's returning with a different goal – simply crossing the finish line while potentially setting a world record.Throughout our conversation, Jeff shares fascinating insights about running's evolutionary importance, explaining how movement shaped human brain development and continues to activate neural circuits that improve our attitude, energy levels, and problem-solving abilities. "Running is what enabled our species to survive," he explains. "When we run, we grow more brain cells and activate the parts of the brain that give us a better attitude, more energy, and the ability to overcome challenges."For those inspired by Jeff's journey, he's created an opportunity to join him in Hawaii through a special travel package that includes accommodations, pre and post-race celebrations, and his personal coaching. Whether you're a seasoned marathoner or curious beginner, Jeff's story reminds us all that the true power of running lies not in speed or distance, but in "staying in the game" through every decade of life.Find out more and connect with Jeff at www.jeffgalloway.com. It's a surprise bonus Saturday episode of Talking Buffalo and Patrick Moran has a Buffalo Bills vs Indianapolis Colts preview, keys to the game and bold predictions for it alongside some commentary on the see-saw Buffalo Sabres once again heating up. Typically throughout the NFL season we use Fridays as the the official Talking Buffalo preview episode for the Bills. However, Patrick hosted University at Buffalo football star Shaun Dolac live from Imperial Pizza on yesterday's show. That made Patrick compelled to a bonus episode in large part to be able to preview this Sunday's Bills game, a contest Buffalo's favored to win by four points and should be a competitive game. The Colts are 4-5 on the season but four of those five losses were to great teams. They've made the switch at quarterback from youngster Anthony Richardson to the ageless veteran Joe Flacco. Patrick goes over their offense, which may or may not have star wide receiver (back injury) on the field Sunday. Regardless, the Colts don't lack weapons and Bills fans know Jonathan Taylor, who ran for over 200 yards on them a few seasons ago all too well. They also feature Alec Pierce and his NFL-leading 22.9 yards per catch and a very stout offensive line. Defensively the Colts are pretty middle of the pack as whole but have a trio of potential game wreckers at their disposal: defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, linebacker Zaire Franklin and cornerback Kenny Moore. Patrick goes over his three biggest keys to victory for the Bills, including the safeties having an impactful afternoon in helping to stop Taylor. From there it's bold predictions time and guess what folks----Dalton Kincaid is going to have his best game of the season! That plus a final score pick and more. Patrick also spends a handful of minutes talking about the Sabres, who smacked the New York Rangers on the road Thursday night, 6-1 and have won their last 2 games by an 11-2 margin. This comes after losing three in a row, which came after winning three in a row. It's been an inconsistent first 14 games for Buffalo to say the least---does Patrick think this team is now turning the corner? That plus some reflections on Dolac being on Friday's show and much more! ♦♦♦♦♦ Follow Patrick Moran/Talking Buffalo Podcast  Substack: Patrick Moran's Substack Twitter:  @PatrickMoranTB Facebook: Talking Buffalo Podcast  YouTube: Talking Buffalo Podcast YouTube Channel Learn more about your ad choices. Demoralizing loss. Donald Thomas (Former NFL Offensive lineman) is disgusted with Anthony Richardson 'tapping out'. The entire offense, including the coaches, (excluding Jonathan Taylor) did not help. Anthony Richardson might just need to be sat for a game or so, to learn how to be a true leader. Too many passing attempts were 20+ yards down field. The Defense played their butts off. Gus Bradley sent blitz after blitz. Dayo Odeyingbo's play was so good, it cost him a touchdown. The Kenny Moore pass interference call was confusing. AR doesn't seem to talk to Joe Flacco much. Is Richardson too comfortable and complacent? The only breaks players get are on Tuesday's, and the offseason. Do the Indianapolis Colts still have a shot at the playoff's?
