In this episode, I interview one of my best friends who has endured trauma that I couldn't even fathom. She details the story of seeing her uncle's lifeless body in the car after he took his own life. This was just days after finding out her parents were divorced. She grew up in a volatile home on the western side of the island of Puerto Rico. She took all of her pain, trauma, and childhood adversity and learned to express herself and her pain through her art. She also managed to spend 20 years in the US Air Force as a Russian linguist. She is incredible.
