Join us for our last (and belated) episode of this season's The Lit Lounge, where we are joined once more by Sorcha to discuss the ethics of eating meat in the Ethical Carnivore, how racism can upend lives in An American Marriage, and an update on the gothic genre in Mexican Gothic. This week we were fortunate to be joined by one of our (now former) Year 11 students, Megan, who discussed important and sometimes bleak novels that made an impact. We are particularly excited as we get to talk about different reading formats this time, including a sombre play and some Manga!

Join us again as we discuss our most recent trip to Hay Festival! This week Grace joins us to tell us about her first experience of glamping at the festival of the year, and Sorcha even pops by towards the end to tell us about her celebrity encounters in and around the literary town.

A long one coming at you today! In this episode, we had the honour of sitting down and chatting with Izzy, one of our Year 8 bookworms as she discussed her past, present and future reads. Sorcha, in her now-regular guest slot, also joined us to discuss another Irish novel that she has been getting stuck into, while Laura updated us on her Read Harder challenge and Rose delved into The Midnight Library, a book that blew up on TikTok.
