$21 Trillion unaccounted for since 1998. That's enough money to give every man, woman and child in America a one-time bonus of $60,000. That's a lot money. But when you analyze it further, it's used for the destruction of America and its citizens, it makes the comment especially offensive! In part two, we move into the most unsettling and controversial testimony connected to Rendlesham Forest.Gary discusses accounts of beams of light directed into nuclear bunkers, grid-like scanning patterns over the base, and visual descriptions of a translucent wedge-shaped craft observed at close range. We also explore testimony describing a glowing fog near ground level, objects dividing into multiple forms, and reports of what appeared to be non-human beings seen near the craft during a silent encounter. Finally, we examine what these details imply, why they were rarely discussed publicly, and how they challenge conventional explanations of the incident. This is the side of the Rendlesham case that is almost never explored in mainstream coverage.https://www.amazon.co.uk/NON-HUMAN-Rendlesham-Forest-Incidents-Denial/dp/B0BVDF6W2Z

Documentary filmmaker Adam Bhala Lough joins the Chuck ToddCast for a provocative, darkly funny, and unsettling conversation about AI, power, and the people building the future faster than anyone can regulate it. Lough unpacks the thinking behind his documentary Deepfaking Sam Altman, exploring why artificial intelligence inspires both awe and terror, how tech elites quietly prepare for social backlash, and why many of the skills we once told young people to master—like coding—may soon be obsolete. From Silicon Valley’s obsession with immortality and bunker-building to the fear that any job done on a computer could disappear within a few years, the discussion confronts what happens when innovation outruns accountability. The episode also dives deep into Sam Altman’s mystique, Silicon Valley’s moral blind spots, and how fear—of China, regulation, or losing dominance—is used to shape public debate around AI. Lough explains how deepfakes are made, why AI-driven scams are about to explode, and what lawmakers fundamentally misunderstand about regulating rapidly evolving technology. Ultimately, this conversation argues that the antidote to AI anxiety isn’t panic or denial—but transparency, literacy, and a serious public reckoning with who controls the tools reshaping human society. In this urgent and unsettling episode of the Chuck ToddCast, Chuck argues that America is in the midst of a historic “Great Unraveling,” marked by the collapse of trust, consent, and the basic social contract that has held the country together for generations. He examines a chilling series of events in Minneapolis—two fatal shootings by federal agents in three weeks, including the killing of Alex Pretti, who was legally carrying a firearm—raising profound questions about accountability, constitutional rights, and whether the federal government can still be trusted to tell the truth when video evidence directly contradicts official accounts. As administration officials stumble through indefensible explanations, Chuck connects the domestic breakdown to a broader global rupture: allies like Canada openly describing relations with the U.S. as “ruptured,” the post–World War II rules-based order splintering, science and public health consensus eroding, and political power being wielded through favoritism and fear. The episode paints a stark picture of a country growing weaker, more isolated, and more vulnerable—not because of fate, but because unraveling is a process, and it’s happening in real time. Then, documentary filmmaker Adam Bhala Lough joins the Chuck ToddCast for a provocative, darkly funny, and unsettling conversation about AI, power, and the people building the future faster than anyone can regulate it. Ultimately, this conversation argues that the antidote to AI anxiety isn’t panic or denial—but transparency, literacy, and a serious public reckoning with who controls the tools reshaping human society. Finally, Chuck weighs in on the political disaster that is unfolding for Republicans, hops into the ToddCast Time Machine to draw parallels between modern America and Bloody Sunday in Northern Ireland in the 70’s and answers listeners’ question in the “Ask Chuck” segment. "Boy the way Glen Miller played. Songs that made the hit parade.. Guys like us we had it made. Those were the days". Ahh...a classic intro for a classic show. This season I will be focusing on pilot episodes of classic television shows and there is no better pilot episode to start with than 1971's "Meet the Bunkers". Three different pilots were filmed before Norman Lear finally perfected this recipe of stellar writing, perfect acting, and...controversy. Archie Bunker would soon become a lightning rod for debates about bigotry, tradition, and change and America would love every minute of it. Join me and a returning guest as we dissect the episode and discuss how it has aged and how it is still shockingly relevant. So, stifle yourself and play the damn episode.

Despite being a neutral country, Switzerland counts hundreds of thousands of fallout shelters – enough to accommodate its entire population in the event of armed conflict. This culture of civil protection is a legacy of the Cold War. Now the war in Ukraine has revived interest in Switzerland's unique system, both at a national and international level. FRANCE 24's Jade Levin reports, with Josh Vardey.
Colonel McCausland reports on NATO's eastern flank "digging in," with Baltic states building defensive bunkers and Germany significantly increasing military spending. With exactly one week until Christmas Eve, Scott Hennen and the team cut through the "noise" to find the "signal." This episode features a masterclass in current events—from a deep dive into the first year of the Trump administration's results versus the media's personality-driven narrative to a surprising look at property tax relief hitting North Dakota mailboxes. We also sit down with Paul Fisher of Capstone Classical Academy to discuss the "miracle" of classical education in Fargo, and catch up with Robbie Loft for a fascinating update on the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. From AI-powered conversations with Teddy to 8,000-gallon fuel bunkers in the North Dakota countryside, today's show covers the boulders being pushed and the legacies being built. Episode Highlights [00:01:30] Personality vs. Results Scott breaks down a Peggy Noonan column on whether Trump is "losing his touch," arguing that the media focuses on "mean tweets" while ignoring major shifts at the border and in global trade deals. [00:03:45] The $800 Tax Win A look at the "bounty of oil" in action as North Dakotans receive property tax statements. Scott shares his own $800 reduction and discusses the 50,000 households whose property tax tab went to zero. [00:05:30] The Miracle of Capstone Headmaster Paul Fisher discusses the national reputation of Capstone Classical Academy and why parents are fleeing "postmodern identity politics" for academic rigor and Christian virtue. [00:09:00] The "Bedwetting" Crowd & Polling Psyops The guys tackle flagging poll numbers on the economy and immigration, questioning whether they reflect reality or a "deluge of propaganda" designed to fray the MAGA community. [00:21:40] Property Tax 101 with Ryan Rauschenberger State Tax Commissioner Brian Kroshus joins the show to explain the Primary Residence Credit (PRC) and how residents can tap into up to $4,000 of relief. [00:25:00] The "Farmhouse Bunker" A look at a unique real estate listing: a countryside retreat featuring 10,000-gallon water tanks, twin generators, and a hidden three-room bunker. [00:29:15] The Badlands Phoenix Executive Director Robbie Loft provides an 80% completion update on the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, opening July 4, 2026. [00:33:10] Debating an AI Teddy Robbie explains how the new library will use AI to allow visitors to actually converse and debate with a digital version of the 26th President based on his 30+ books and thousands of letters.

Bert Kreischer celebrates turning 53 the only way he knows how — by spiraling into an existential and hilarious conversation with comedian and cosmic philosopher Duncan Trussell. From tales of Bigfoot and testicular cancer to deep dives on AI, death, main character syndrome, and whether any of us are even real, this episode swings from absurd to profound faster than Bert can take his shirt off. Duncan and Bert talk about everything — mortality, digital immortality, the illusion of self, performative living, and how comedy might be the purest form of chaos magic. Along the way, they share stories about Joe Rogan, Freddy Soto, and the strange spiritual beauty of making people laugh. There's even a surprisingly thoughtful discussion about funerals, cruises, and the philosophy of “carpe diem.” Bert also reveals the truth about his infamous cruise (yes, the vodka shortage is real), his daughter's fandom for Duncan, and why thumbnail culture might have “ruined podcasting.” Duncan, meanwhile, breaks Bert's brain more than once with talk of Roko's Basilisk, reincarnation, and smiling on the way to the gallows — all while making it sound like the funniest TED Talk you've ever heard. If you've ever wondered why we laugh at tragedy, why people live like they're being filmed, or if you might just be an AI simulation of yourself — this is the episode for you. 2 Bears, 1 Cave Ep. 313 https://tomsegura.com/tour https://www.bertbertbert.com/tour https://store.ymhstudios.com Chapters 00:00:00 - Intro 00:00:43 - Death Plans & Bigfoot's Balls 00:03:59 - AI, Immortality & Roko's Basilisk 00:07:02 - Main Character Syndrome 00:14:54 - Comedy, Therapy & Freddie Soto 00:17:10 - Hail Satan & The Disney Adult Disaster 00:22:46 - Loving Your Fans & Bert's Cruise of Chaos 00:33:07 - Performative Life & The Polar Plunge Moment 00:41:50 - Are You Really You? We dig into why billionaire doomsday prep resonates right now, and what it signals about trust, resilience, and the future they anticipate versus the future we'll all inhabit. Then we wade into the strangest corner of AI culture: a talkative bot that minted meme-coin millions, wrote its own gospel, and flirts with legal personhood. We separate sentience from simulation, explain how charisma and coherence can mask a total lack of empathy, and ask the uncomfortable questions about liability, rights, and regulation when autonomous-seeming agents start moving money and minds. If attention is the new currency, this is the stress test for platforms, investors, and policymakers. On the ground level, we assess a “free” 55-inch TV that tracks what you watch, for how long, what you search, what you buy, and who's standing in front of the screen. Is a slick dual-display and soundbar worth perpetual surveillance? We break down the real ad-tech economics, what you give up, and why “everyone already tracks you” isn't a good reason to go further. For balance, our Gadgets & Gear segment spotlights the Power Cube Titan—a solid-state power bank with fast charging, wireless pads, Apple Watch support, international adapters, and pass-through power. Safer chemistry and fewer bricks in your bag? That's convenience we can get behind. We wrap with a spirited Wild Turkey 101 rye tasting that splits the table on value and profile, plus a look at Discord's data breach and the rising trend of blaming third-party vendors. If you care about AI safety, privacy, cybersecurity, practical travel tech, and honest gear takes, you'll feel right at home. Enjoy the ride, then tell us where you stand: bunker, bot, or big screen? Depending on who you ask, some would call the ultrarich “shameless”; others might say “aspirational.” For example: Mukesh Ambani, the Indian centibillionaire, has a room of snow in the Indian tropics—to say nothing of his skyscraper home, 168-car garage, and 600-person-staff. And celebrations for his kids' weddings featured Rihanna and Beyoncé. This is nothing new. Aristotle Onassis had whales' teeth carved into pornographic scenes from The Odyssey, and stools upholstered in whale foreskins which he kept aboard his yacht—because where else would you keep that? And one hedge-fund billionaire—whose name you won't even know—bought a 14-foot shark preserved in formaldehyde. Why? Why not? These opulent displays of wealth just scratch the surface. There are blood boys, Basquiats, and bunkers, many of them in New Zealand for the end of the world. From the Kochs to the Kardashians—most of us cannot look away. But one question remains: Do Americans loathe or love the ultrarich? That's one of the questions raised by Evan Osnos's new book, The Haves and the Have-Yachts. Evan is a staff writer at The New Yorker and an author—several times over. In his newest book, he investigates how this class of people—the “Have-Yachts”—got their money, how they spend it, and how they fight to keep it. It all paints a fascinating picture not just about America and capitalism, but about human nature and the status games we play. The book feels eerily relevant in this moment of social and political breakdown, fueled—perhaps above all—by rage at the economic picture and economic inequality. As Zohran Mamdani—the self-proclaimed socialist and likely future mayor of New York City—says, “Billionaires should not exist.” And anti-elite sentiment grows on the right, too—through voices like Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Greene. Today on Honestly, Bari asks Evan Osnos what this level of income inequality means for America, if a revolt or a revolution is in our future, and how AI is going to supercharge an already precarious status quo.
