As a girl Khalida played football with her brothers. When she became a teenager this had to stop. Instead, she set up a school team and went on to become captain of Afghanistan's national team. Khalida recently led the investigation into the president of the Afghanistan Football Association, Keramuudin Karim, who was sexually assaulting women in the team. Karim is now banned from all sports for life and the case sparked the Me Too movement in Afghanistan.
