Jason Webb, self proclaimed "Me.E.O.", shares the marketing strategies he is using to grow Follow-Up Fuel, and how what he is learning can also apply to his job as D.A.D.
I'd rather die enormous than live dormant that's how we on it Live at the main event, I bet a trip to Maui on it--Jay Z "Can I Live". That's pretty much how I feel about life. Freedom over formality is what I say and how I live. That's why I haven't had a boss in close to 10 years, why I started this podcast, and why I don't push my kids to stick with inconsequential activities if that's not what makes them truly happy. The Duke and Duchess have recently chosen their own freedom over royal formality recently and I absolutely love it. They're shining a light on the fact that we often make our own happiness or our own unhappiness. The choices aren't always easy, but if they're just--happiness will follow.
Creativity over certainty. That's my mantra. Certainty does not motivate me. It actually has the opposite effect on me in a lot of ways. I thrive when I can be creative. I don't do well if I already know the outcome--usually low stakes anyway. Boring! In this episode, I talk about how I've re-imagined the way I run my business and the early indicators of success I'm seeing. Most importantly, I'm doing it with a smile on my face--again! How can you bring excitement back into your business?
However you define success, it's likely that your path to get there will not, or has not, been linear. If you're like most humans I know there will be many pitfalls and hurdles along the way. This is an interview I did with someone who epitomizes what it makes to overcome many obstacles and challenges to get to a certain point in his life. He never makes excuses, he only makes progress, and that's what you'll hear in this interview.
As 2020 begins it's a good time to start taking the old proverbial chips off the table and get ready to double down on another table. The last decade was all about working hard and taking risk, the next decade will be about de-risking and strategic planning. What am I talking about? Listen to this episode to find out.
I had the pleasure of interviewing my coach and mentor--solo ads expert, Igor Kheifets. This interview was a bonus for the first Rich List, Poor List customers, but now I'm sharing it for all to listen and learn. In this interview he revealed how anyone can buy traffic fast at a profit and how he once built an email list of over 18,000 subscribers while making nearly $400,000 in sales. How did he generate $32, 623.24 in commission in just 4 days? You'll hear it in my interview.
In this episode I talk about a lesson I learned about patience and why it's important to "trust the process" while watching the end my son's swim class.
This is part 2 of the synopsis of my first live webinar experience. I wish I could say it went as planned and that I didn't make any mistakes, but then you'd have to believe that I'm not human. As luck would have it, I am! As a matter of fact, the mistakes I had to overcome would make me "King of all Humans" if you were to judge humans by the number of mistakes they make. Nevertheless, I powered through it until the end. In this episode I talk about the big mistakes I made and the number of sales I made by the end of the webinar.
As I continue to reflect on 2019 and look forward to 2020, and beyond, I have discovered a new way to approach my business that will support my long term and short term goals. I have an online business and and offline business. My offline business, (sales recruiting) pays for everything that I do online---except it's not all that exciting. My online business is exciting, but it doesn't generate anywhere near the income that my recruiting business (offline)does? I need to be excited about what I do everyday otherwise I will not be able to sustain long term success. So I needed to come up with a plan. A new way to approach business that would be exciting and profitable. Something I could do for the next 20 years and not get bored. I talk about what that is in this episode.
Now that we're coming to the end of another year, it's a good time to stop and pause to think about what's next, what's most important, and how to achieve what you want. Like all good running backs in football, we need to pause long enough to see where the opening is and then run through it as fast as we can as soon as we recognize it. Without that pause, we could end up getting tackled for a loss. That's what this episode is about.
One of the biggest challenges we have with deciding on which new ventures to start or deciding which careers to choose is our ability and willingness to self-assess. In this episode, I share 5 things I do to self-assess when deciding to start something new.
This episode should have been published before 11/29, which is why you'll hear me talk about Thanksgiving. That said, the message I have in this episode for you applies throughout the holiday season, and frankly throughout the year.
I hosted my first webinar this week. I learned a lot during my preparation for the webinar and I learned even more while hosting the live webinar. Find out all about my experience and what you can learn from it in preparation for doing your own webinar. I was crunched for time, as you'll hear, so I will publish part 2 next week.
In this episode I talk about how I handle stress and how I handle my stress may help other people as well. It all comes down to focusing on one task, one initiative, or one goal at a time. A lot like concentrating on taking one breath at a time while meditating.
This episode of Mindset Monday, published on a Tuesday actually, is all about my key to daily happiness. It's all about one big thing.
The more emails I send, the more data I accumulate. One of the things I've been focused on lately is why some subject lines work and others flop. After sending hundreds of emails over the last several years, I think I found what works best. That's what this episode is all about.
A lot of people are simply afraid to email their list about something they have to offer. I remember the first time I wanted to sell something online, I built an email list of about 2000 people and never sent one email to them because I didn't know what to say. In this short episode I talk about why it's important to just hit "send".
I'm convinced size matters. If current metrics stay the same and if the industry averages are the "industry averages" you will make money online. Without a large email list and without a high ticket offer, building a massive passive email income will be much harder and will take a lot longer. I explain it all in this edition of Follow-Up Fuel Friday.
In this edition of "Mindset Monday" I talk about the importance of starting immediately when you want to make a major change in your life. Whether it's personally or professionally, the more invested you are in a particular belief, activity, career, etc, the harder it is to make a change. Each day that goes by, before starting to make a change, it becomes that much harder to make the change you want. Imagine how difficult it is to turn around an aircraft carrier or a cruise ship. The bigger the vessel the longer it takes to turn. If you start immediately, change won't take as long and it could be like turning around a speedboat or a jet ski.
One of the biggest challenges new email marketers have is generating more clicks to their sales pages and other web assets. While it's certainly a numbers game, there is definitely an art to it. In this episode I talk about that art is and how to master it to get more clicks.
The more I build my online business, the more certain I am that building an email list is the best and fastest way to create massive, passive online income. And, since this is a "Walk-Away-Wednesday" edition, in this episode, I share why anyone should build their email list first--even if they don't have a product or service to sell yet. (Maybe just a seed of an idea.)
"This is the #1 rule for your set, in order to survive you've got to live regrets"--Shawn Carter This episode features several different things as they pertain to my online business, but it starts off with me acknowledging a big fat mistake that I made. I learned and I'm moving on.
A good friend called me to tell me that his entrepreneurial spark got reignited recently and he wanted to talk to me about his business idea. Of course, I asked him if we could record our discussion so I could use it for the podcast and he agreed. Our discussion is what you'll hear in this episode.
It's fun to be curious. Imagine how boring life would be if you already knew the outcome of everything before it happened. In this episode, I talk about how curiosity lead me to make a major change in my sales funnel.
There are certain performance indicators you should measure and optimize when evaluating your sales funnel/process. The five I'm watching closely are, traffic, leads, open rate, click through rate, and conversion rate. Traffic and leads are no longer a challenge. Now I've got to focus on and optimize the other 3. That's what this episode of Follow-Up Fuel is all about.
In this episode of Mindset Monday I share my approach for getting things done when they have to be done and how I have to accept the fact that basically nothing I do will be perfect. If you're a perfectionist, listen to this episode and then go finish something you started.
In this episode of I talk about the new leads into the Follow-Up Fuel funnel and a BIG flaw I found in my email marketing and what I did to fix it. It all came down to choosing the right autoresponder software to use to send emails to my new leads.
This episode is much different than any other episode I've published. In my capacity as a sales recruiter I help other people find jobs. I actually didn't have anything planned for this edition of "Walk-A-Way Wednesday", so I decided to publish a call that I did with a friend who wanted to speak with me about pursuing a new opportunity. I thought it would be useful to give my audience a sneak peak into what someone else might be going through as they try to figure out what's next for them.
Episode 50 came so fast that I didn't know this was episode 50 when I recorded it. Time flies when you do something you love. Wow! In this edition of "Mindset Monday" I talk about why I'm working so hard to build an online business and the vision I have for my family's future.

In this episode of Walk-A-Way Wednesday I share my advice for the one thing you should start doing, immediately, well before you walk away from your job. Most people are afraid to start their own business because they're afraid they're not going to be able to make enough money to pay their bills, etc. Focus on this one thing and you won't need to worry about paying the bills when you launch your new venture.
What does a cluttered mind like and why? The last 3 weeks or so have been really busy and I've neglected my mental and physical health because I needed to finish a major project. In this episode I talk about what I did this morning to reset my mind and try to get into the right state of mind to move forward.
In this edition of Follow-Up Fuel Friday, I share part of a mini-course that I conducted for my email list. It was a brief presentation on why adding a certain page to your sales funnel could dramatically improve affiliate sales.

In this brief episode of Mindset Monday I talk about something accomplished today that most likely would not have gotten accomplished if it weren't for one key addition to my life recently. Listen to find out what it is.
Apart from who your email is from, the subject line is the most important component of your email marketing. If you can't compel your subscribers to open your emails, then you can't compel them to buy what you're offering (selling.) In this episode, I share 4 ways to get inspired to write subject lines that will get your emails opened.
This is a "Walk-A-Way Wednesday" episode in which I share how just simply taking what you know and sharing it with others, as a coach, is a great way yo create extra income until you're ready to walk away completely from one job/business and do something else. I share a recent experience about something that I needed a coach for--and the person I found to help me. Hopefully it will inspire you.
In this episode of Mindset-Monday you will hear an interview that I did with a woman who epitomizes what it means to have a positive and abundant mindset. Listen to how she sets goals for herself and how others can do the same. Also, pay close attention to the way we can get others to buy into our goals as well, and why that is so important. Finally, listen for the MAJOR health scare that threatened her life, her mindset through it all, and how it affects her every day. She has an online course coming out called Goalhackers where she will be teaching Entrepreneurs and those looking to become Entrepreneurs ---60 Days to Transform Your Business and Your Life You can learn more by signing up for her email list at jeannetteryals.com.

After a few setback she decided to combine her skill of writing with her knowledge of appliances and start her own business. I think her story reflects the difficulty that a lot of people face when trying to find fulfillment in what they do for a living. The way she solved her own difficulty is inspiring.

In this episode I briefly go over what lead nurturing is and why you need to do it. If you're not nurturing your new leads your sales will suffer.
There are many ways to earn extra income and eventually walk away altogether from your full-time job, or business, and do something else. I'm always trying to suggest ways to get started that don't require you having to leave your home and that don't cost a lot of money to begin with. I also try to suggest things that don't require knowing the right people. For the most part, these ideas I share are easy to get started if you have focus and determination. In this episode, I share how to get started as an affiliate marketer and how it is quite possible to earn over $1M a year doing it---no experience necessary.
How does the thought of killing yourself as a teenager set you on path for the rest of your life to learn how to master your emotions? In this episode of Webb Applications, you'll hear how my guest, Daimon Sweeney, created something he calls NeuroMastery--which is the process of controlling your emotions. Since it was recorded for Mindset Monday, (albeit published on Tuesday) I thought learning a bit about NeuroMastery would be a perfect topic. You can learn more about NeuroMastery at www.daimonsweeney.com He also just started an "Unchallenge" in his Facebook Group where he will share breakthrough methods he discovered. They literally rewire fight/flight/freeze out of your nervous system when applied to a specific issue.
A lot of people, who may not be Follow-Up Fuel customers, or have an online business, may not know how to strategically go about starting an email list. In this episode I talk about a time where I had to get out of my comfort zone and into the stretch zone--simply so I wouldn't look like an idiot. Listen to how it paid huge dividends later on.

Acting coach, backstage expert, and author, Paul Barry, was the perfect person for this edition of Mindset Monday. I met Paul in a Facebook Group after a post I shared was met with unreasonable ridicule. And he also talks about the 3 zones we are all in during various situations and which zone we need to be in if we want to learn. You'll also hear him share his advice how to start to move out of your comfort zone as a way to slowly build confidence.
