It's Star Wars Season! To celebrate the month far, far away, we look at the 20th anniversary of Revenge of the Sith and the 10th anniversary of The Force Awakens on Enjoy Stuff.  Star Wars fans love celebrating anniversaries of the release of the movies. And this year we get two big ones: Revenge of the Sith and The Force Awakens. Let's see what we remember.    News The trailer for the season two of Wednesday with Jenna Ortega has been released We share our favorite news from Star Wars Celebration Japan   Check out our TeePublic store for some enjoyable swag and all the latest fashion trends What we're Enjoying Jay has been rewatching the ABC Marvel series Agents of SHIELD for both Location Scout and great amounts of Enjoyment. He's on season 4 and that's the best one. Shua found a sequel to a classic Michael Chrichton novel the Andromeda Strain with a new modern day threat called Andromeda: Evolution. There's a little suspension of disbelief, but it's a fun saving of the world from germs kinda story.       Sci-Fi Saturdays This week on Sci-Fi Saturdays Jay refreshes his memory for destroying fascists by watching the 2012 bizarre sci-fi movie Iron Sky. Evil humans hiding on the moon since the 40s, returning to Earth to take over the world. Read his article on RetroZap.com. And make sure to play around with the interactive map on MCULocationScout.com. Plus, you can tune in to SHIELD: Case Files where Jay and Shua talk about great stuff in the MCU. Enjoy Star Wars!  Season 5 of Enjoy Stuff premieres with a celebration of Star Wars! Twenty years ago, we went crazy all summer seeing what we thought would be the last Star Wars movie ever; Revenge of the Sith. It was an exciting year of hype, merchandise, and standing in lines. But then, we got an exciting Christmas present when a sequel to our favorite galaxy was released. The Force Awakens awakened that excitement it had been so long since we felt. More Celebrations, more hype, more merchandise, and more lines (although, much easier to navigate). Let's take a look back at two giant Star Wars films.   Check out Jay's article about Revenge of the Sith from 2005 here Where were you in 2005 and 2015? First person that emails me with the subject line, “I've got a bad feeling about this” will get a special mention on the show.  Let us know. The Defenders take a trip to the movies and discuss the final film in Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe "Ant-Man". Join us for our ant-man movie review. Starring Paul Rudd as the recently released prisoner Scott Lang who teams up with Michael Douglas, the former superhero Dr. Hank Pym trying to protect the legacy of Pym Enterprises from the nefarious intentions of Darren Cross (House of Card's Corey Stoll), and assisted by his daughter Hope Van Dyne (Lost and The Hobbit's Evangeline Lilly). Join the team for our Ant-Man movie review as we discuss an MCU movie that's smaller in scope yet bigger in heart, arguably than the previous MCU films of this phase. Packed full of Marvel Comics and Movie references and with tonnes of guest stars and TWO post-credit scenes, does Ant-Man live up to the giant sized expectations placed on it by it's ending of Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe or is it destined to shrink into the delta zone. This is definitely a fun movie and features cameos from both Agent Carter and Falcon and will lead to Ant-Man being called upon by the Avengers in the future. Thank you so much for listening to our Ant-Man Movie Review make sure you join our Defenders TV Podcast Facebook group or Facebook page and send feedback to us of your thoughts on the Neflix TV series Daredevil, the ABC Marvel show Agent Carter and the Movie Ant-Man. The @LegendsOfShield (Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D.) Agents Lauren, Haley and Stargate Pioneer are joined for a fourth consecutive week by special guest, stowaway and Consultant Agent Wing as they break down the ABC television special Marvel 75 Years From Pulp To Pop! They also discuss the week in Marvel news, and enjoy all the awesome Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. feedback. In this episode our hosts announce their new YouTube channel where they will also upload the podcasts to. Stargate Pioneer announces he has a beard and the other hosts agree it is a beard of evil. Also, Wing announces his goatee of evil and his gross facial hair growth technique. For Halloween Agent Lauren combined several of her favorite things and created one of the most fantastic costumes ever (see her twitter feed for a picture @sithwith) her idea for a sexy Thangorodrim from The Silmarillion fell through. No one got Stargate Pioneer’s GeekJersey.com X-Wing pilot costume. Nightwing did his annual Clark Kent costume and Haley didn’t dress up as anything and had no candy for trick or treaters. And Agent Lauren announced she loved to trick or treat at the drug dealer’s houses for full sized candy bars when she was growing up. The foursome discuss who “THE Ralph Macchio” is and that Ralph Macchio the actor is NOT Ralph Macchio the Marvel comic editor. They also discuss a potential relationship between Ward and Taskmaster. Haley brings up that she thinks that Skye’s dad is Black Bolt’s brother, Maximus The Mad. Haley’s not-seen movie list now includes: Showgirls, Top Gun, Skyfall, Magic Mike, Starman and Highlander. And Agent Haley’s excellent marketing idea in China for a giant robot head in Guardians Of The Galaxy definitely qualify her for a marketing job at Marvel. And Stargate Pioneer wonders if Haley Atwell made a mistake in filming and actually hit Clark Gregg during her Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. guest spot coming up on November 18th, 2014. Lauren and her husband Scott came up with the theory that Heimdall probably knows that Loki is acting as Odin. And everyone is looking forward to Groot Christmas trees. Both Nightwing and Lauren enjoyed the Daredevil movie. And Lauren is REALLY looking forward to the Jessica Jones’ Netflix series. And three of the four hosts would like to see a Black Widow movie (hint: Not Nightwing). Lauren is uuber excited about the upcoming Attack On Titan – Marvel crossover. And Lauren is also interested in writing for Marvel comics (and she is available too!). Stan Lee is Marvel in soo many ways. Stargate Pioneer certainly didn’t mind Emily Vancamp (Agent 13) touching Lola – big surprise there. He also mentions that this special is a good start for someone that didn’t know much about Marvel comics. If you’d like to delve deeper into the runnings of Marvel over the past 75 years, there’s the Stan Lee Biopic “With Great Power,” Fedric Wertham’s “Seduction Of The Innocent,” Superdickery.com’s Batman’s Boners, Stan Lee’s Mutants, Monsters & Marvels, and Comic Book Superheroes Unmasked. The four round out the podcast by discussion what the most influential comic book movie was from the 1978 Superman The Movie on. Movies discussed include Superman The Movie, Batman 1989, X-Men, and Iron Man 2008. Everybody read Image Comics’ Saga! Legends of S.H.I.E.L.D. welcomes the very knowledgeable Agent Lauren to the podcast as we cover the latest episode of the ABC Marvel television show Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. “Nothing Personal.” Of course it’s everything personal as Ward kidnaps Skye and take her on a not-so romantic weekend trip to Los Angeles, Coulson gets Lola and Skye back, May makes Coulson say “huh” over T.A.H.I.T.I. and has an S.P. moment, Fitz continues his deterioration; Skye really comes into her own as a character;  and Agent/Commander/Ms Maria Hill makes another appearance. The crew discusses the Marvel news that Wolverine is going to die….again; Stargate Pioneer tells his theory that Ward is controlled by the Centipede eye technology all along; Stargate Pioneer pontificates again about Fury’s gravesite; Lauren brings up Agent Abigail Brand; Haley’s new theory about who will kill Ward and how it will happen; Stargate Pioneer admits he is wrong…again; Lauren tells of her dislike of Executive Producer Jeff Loeb, Haley makes in into the 1970s with Marvel Comics; Lauren tells us of her evil plan to take care of the hard drive that is now in Hydra possession; the hosts wonder about Aircraft safety onboard S.H.I.E.L.D. 616; and the hosts respond to a late-addition voicemail from Starsaber. Other goodies in this podcast include: Haley divulges that she has a mutant liver; Haley uses her extensive experience in digging holes; Stargate Pioneer wastes a good Independence Day comment; and the hosts fawn over the Farscape television series. Welcome to a special edition episode of Across the Airwaves that we would call, Across the S.H.I.E.L.D.  In this special episode Director Andy Behbakht is joined by his fellow podcast agents/your favorite hosts, Dan Schmidt and Nico Reifsteck for a roundtable discussion about the ABC/Marvel pilot, S.H.I.E.L.D. that is currently in production and being directed by the man responsible for shows such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse and one of the highest-grossing films of all time, Marvel's The Avengers: Joss Whedon!
