It's Star Wars Season! To celebrate the month far, far away, we look at the 20th anniversary of Revenge of the Sith and the 10th anniversary of The Force Awakens on Enjoy Stuff.  Star Wars fans love celebrating anniversaries of the release of the movies. And this year we get two big ones: Revenge of the Sith and The Force Awakens. There's a little suspension of disbelief, but it's a fun saving of the world from germs kinda story.       Sci-Fi Saturdays This week on Sci-Fi Saturdays Jay refreshes his memory for destroying fascists by watching the 2012 bizarre sci-fi movie Iron Sky. Twenty years ago, we went crazy all summer seeing what we thought would be the last Star Wars movie ever; Revenge of the Sith. It was an exciting year of hype, merchandise, and standing in lines. But then, we got an exciting Christmas present when a sequel to our favorite galaxy was released. The Force Awakens awakened that excitement it had been so long since we felt. More Celebrations, more hype, more merchandise, and more lines (although, much easier to navigate). The Defenders take a trip to the movies and discuss the final film in Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe "Ant-Man". Join us for our ant-man movie review. Starring Paul Rudd as the recently released prisoner Scott Lang who teams up with Michael Douglas, the former superhero Dr. Hank Pym trying to protect the legacy of Pym Enterprises from the nefarious intentions of Darren Cross (House of Card's Corey Stoll), and assisted by his daughter Hope Van Dyne (Lost and The Hobbit's Evangeline Lilly). Join the team for our Ant-Man movie review as we discuss an MCU movie that's smaller in scope yet bigger in heart, arguably than the previous MCU films of this phase. Packed full of Marvel Comics and Movie references and with tonnes of guest stars and TWO post-credit scenes, does Ant-Man live up to the giant sized expectations placed on it by it's ending of Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe or is it destined to shrink into the delta zone. This is definitely a fun movie and features cameos from both Agent Carter and Falcon and will lead to Ant-Man being called upon by the Avengers in the future. The @LegendsOfShield (Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D.) Agents Lauren, Haley and Stargate Pioneer are joined for a fourth consecutive week by special guest, stowaway and Consultant Agent Wing as they break down the ABC television special Marvel 75 Years From Pulp To Pop! They also discuss the week in Marvel news, and enjoy all the awesome Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. feedback. In this episode our hosts announce their new YouTube channel where they will also upload the podcasts to. Stargate Pioneer announces he has a beard and the other hosts agree it is a beard of evil. Also, Wing announces his goatee of evil and his gross facial hair growth technique. For Halloween Agent Lauren combined several of her favorite things and created one of the most fantastic costumes ever (see her twitter feed for a picture @sithwith) her idea for a sexy Thangorodrim from The Silmarillion fell through. No one got Stargate Pioneer’s GeekJersey.com X-Wing pilot costume. Nightwing did his annual Clark Kent costume and Haley didn’t dress up as anything and had no candy for trick or treaters. And Agent Lauren announced she loved to trick or treat at the drug dealer’s houses for full sized candy bars when she was growing up. The foursome discuss who “THE Ralph Macchio” is and that Ralph Macchio the actor is NOT Ralph Macchio the Marvel comic editor. They also discuss a potential relationship between Ward and Taskmaster. Haley brings up that she thinks that Skye’s dad is Black Bolt’s brother, Maximus The Mad. Haley’s not-seen movie list now includes: Showgirls, Top Gun, Skyfall, Magic Mike, Starman and Highlander. And Agent Haley’s excellent marketing idea in China for a giant robot head in Guardians Of The Galaxy definitely qualify her for a marketing job at Marvel. And Stargate Pioneer wonders if Haley Atwell made a mistake in filming and actually hit Clark Gregg during her Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. guest spot coming up on November 18th, 2014. Lauren and her husband Scott came up with the theory that Heimdall probably knows that Loki is acting as Odin. And everyone is looking forward to Groot Christmas trees. Both Nightwing and Lauren enjoyed the Daredevil movie. And Lauren is REALLY looking forward to the Jessica Jones’ Netflix series. And three of the four hosts would like to see a Black Widow movie (hint: Not Nightwing). Lauren is uuber excited about the upcoming Attack On Titan – Marvel crossover. And Lauren is also interested in writing for Marvel comics (and she is available too!). Stan Lee is Marvel in soo many ways. Stargate Pioneer certainly didn’t mind Emily Vancamp (Agent 13) touching Lola – big surprise there. He also mentions that this special is a good start for someone that didn’t know much about Marvel comics.
