Will God answer your prayer if you don't end with, "In Jesus' name, Amen?" Learn what praying in the name of Jesus really means.   I taught this week on the call of Abraham and the development of God's missionary call through the nation of Israel as they were responsible to communicate the truth of God to the cultures around them. They were given that great commission. The great commission didn't start in Matthew 28.  It started with Abraham in Genesis 12 —the first three verses there —Abraham, chosen by God to raise up a nation who would then be God's priests to the world so that they would be a blessing to all of the nations.   They had a unique role in the great monotheistic religion. The Jews were supposed to reflect morality to the world. Israel was to witness to the name of God. When they talked about the name of God and witnessing to God's name, that does not mean that they were to let everybody know what they called God, "Yahweh." Their goal wasn't to cover the countryside with evangelists who just let everybody know what the right word for God was. It meant something different.   ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆https://linktr.ee/jacksonlibon-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #realtalk #face #instagram #amour #take #couple #dance #dancers #vogue #voguedqnce #garden #tiktok #psychology #beyou #near #love #foryou #money #ForYouPizza #fyp #irobot #theend #pups #TikToker #couplegoals #famille #relation #doudou #youtube #twitter #tiktokers #love #reeĺs #shorts #instagood #follow #like #ouy #oyu #babyshark #lilnasx #girl #happybirthday #movie #nbayoungboy  #deviance #autotrader #trading #khan #academy #carter #carguru #ancestry #accords #abc #news #bts #cbs #huru #bluebook #socialmedia #whatsapp #music #google #photography #memes #marketing #india #followforfollowback #likeforlikes #a #insta #fashion #k #trending #digitalmarketing #covid #o #snapchat #socialmediamarketingH

Molecular biologist Khady Sall returned to Senegal in 2018 after setting up Science Education Exchange for Sustainable Development (SeeSD), a non-profit organization she founded while a PhD student in the United States. SeeSD promotes science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics education to encourage scientific literacy and critical thinking in young people.Sall tells Akin Jimoh how her career experiences abroad made the return to Africa a daunting prospect. But working and living abroad has convinced her that science careers in Africa, and the cities where science takes place, should not follow US and European models.“If we're not authentic in being scientists, and not doing research that follows local problems and our local culture, then at some point, we will just become another US or another France, and that will be very boring. Hopefully that will not happen here. And then we will be vibrant and do a different kind of science. People will say: ‘Wow, why didn't this happen sooner?'”Togolese researcher Rafiou Agoro runs the African Diaspora Scientists Federation, a mentoring platform that connects African scientists based abroad with colleagues back home, from his base at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. So far, Agoro and his team of 150 mentors have supported more than 100 scientists.“I was looking for any any opportunity to have an impact back home. A lot of people who are abroad are eager to do something back here. COVID has taught us distances matter less when it comes to education,” he says. This is the sixth episode in an eight-part podcast series hosted by Akin Jimoh, chief editor of Nature Africa. WWW.YOURBROZO.COMCASH APP: $YBZLLCPolkadotrabbitpodcast@gmail.comhttps://adamitekingdomministries.org/missionPathway to Designing Destinies Our non-profit organization is emotionally devoted to providing disadvantaged people of the Africa Diaspora with skills and opportunities to improve their economic situation. In doing this we plan to aid in three primary areas of everyone which is mind, body, and spirit. When your spirit is broken, your mind and body will always be under attack. Africans in the Diaspora have overcome some obstacles but for each one we have conquered there seems to be several that pop up in place of it. This has cause many in the Diaspora to feel helpless and hopeless. This feeling will break the spirits of most. When you see someone that looks like you, making positive contributions to life, you recondition your mind to tell you “Yes you can" instead of "no you can't" take care of your family and/or accomplish great things. To accomplish this, we will educate our clients on the contributions of Africans in every field including architecture, agriculture, automotive, inventions, and technology.Once the spirit is repaired, the mind will start to operate differently. Currently, it is critical to enhance the knowledge of our community. We do not believe this is not fully accomplished in a traditional educational system. Our goal is to educate our clients on basic architecture, agriculture, automotive, and technology skillsets through hands on activities.  By providing hands on activities in these areas, our clients gain the experience most employers are seeking. It also gives them skills they can use to self-employ. In addition, we also plan to work with local companies, to place our clients in jobs.As your spirit and mind is brought into alignment, your body will follow. We want to elevate the people in the African Diaspora that have a negative view of their bodies. Some live in less than favorable conditions. This can range from poor dietary options, poor hygiene, to poor fitness. Our organization's goal is to model how we should view, treat our bodies, and practice self-care. Through our programs, we will provide people with skills to grow their own food. We will also host fitness sessions periodically. When the spirit, mind, and body are in alignment a person can thrive. Our community needs the opportunity to flourish and to be prosperous. These are the things that distinguish our organization from others. Our goal is to align all three to shape a more whole individual.

Although Harvard is one of the Blackest Ivy League schools, Black students still make up just 11 percent of the student body. Many Black students at Harvard experience a level of culture shock when they first arrive to such a historically white space. There's the whiteness of the university today, but also the institution's connection to slavery and white supremacy. This culture shock can be doubled for Black students who trace their lineage to enslaved people in this country, often called Generational African Americans at Harvard.Even though the university has started an initiative to address and understand its ties to slavery, and has made increasing diversity on campus a priority for decades, it's estimated that less than a third of Black students at Harvard are Generational African Americans. But in its publicly released demographics, Harvard doesn't distinguish between the different kinds of Blackness within the diaspora. And Black students say that's an issue. On this episode of Into America, Trymaine Lee speaks with three studentsfrom the African diaspora on campus: Mariah Norman, a first year who is Generational African American, Ife Adedokun, a first year whose parents immigrated from Nigeria, and Kimani Panthier, a second year whose parents immigrated from Jamaica. The group talks about what it's like to be Black at Harvard, and the nuances of Black identity within the diaspora on campus. They tell Trymaine how the university could better support them, and how they find community from each other. For a transcript, please visit https://www.msnbc.com/intoamerica. Thoughts? Feedback? This is the story of Wabila, a daughter of West Africa, her awakening in the diaspora. Storytelling has always been an integral part of the people of West Africa. It's one of the ways our ancestors passed down information to us. Another way was through art. Unfortunately, as most of our heritage and history passed down through art was stolen by colonialist, and now belong to American and European museums and private collectors, the people for whom these artworks were made have no physical access to them. Today, storytelling is still part of our culture. This is the story of Wabila's discovery of her hidden identity.

Topics discussed include views on a United Africa and whether it would work, Africa's colonial past and the impacts it has on today's governance of African countries, plus the potential that the diaspora has in terms of investing back home but how building back home can also be seen as a form of gentrification if done in a certain way.
