How do they know you follow Christ? It's easy to say we believe in Jesus, attend church, know Scripture, and identify as a Christian but is there evidence of Him in the way we actually live? In this episode of Let It B, we're taking an honest look at what it means to be known by our fruit. The fruit of the Spirit isn't just something we talk about on Sundays. It should show up in our everyday lives in our relationships, our decisions, our reactions, our character, and especially in the moments when we're tested. What happens when someone disrespects you? When you're disappointed? When you're hurt? When nobody is watching? When obedience means standing alone? We'll talk about what it means to be in the world but not of the world, to be set apart without becoming self-righteous, and to be okay with looking different when following Christ means refusing to compromise. Through the stories of Joseph and Daniel, we'll look at what it means to remain faithful when doing the right thing comes at a cost. But this episode isn't about perfection. It's about transformation. Because the question isn't simply, "Do you call yourself a Christian?" The question is: Where's the evidence? If someone watched your life for 30 days without hearing you say the word "Christian," what would they conclude about who you belong to? Your fruit reveals what has taken root in you. What if you're already in the position God wants to use you in? In this vulnerable episode of Let It B The Podcast, Bre takes us through Esther 4 and the powerful reminder that God can position us long before we understand why we're there. We often convince ourselves that we're not ready, we don't have enough, or it's simply not the right time. But what if the place you're in right now is actually part of God's preparation for what He has called you to do? Esther didn't choose her position by accident. God placed her in a position of influence for a specific purpose and for a specific moment. And the same God who positioned Esther can position you. In this episode, we talk about: Embracing where God has you right now Trusting God's timing instead of waiting for the "perfect" moment Why God's blessings are never just for us Being willing to obey when obedience feels risky How fear of people can keep us from walking in purpose The importance of integrity and remaining set apart Recognizing that your current position may be preparation for your assignment How God can use every season, experience, and position for His purpose Bre also shares personal testimony about the ways God has intentionally positioned her throughout different seasons of her life and how those experiences prepared her for where she is today. You may not understand why God has you where you are right now. You may feel like you don't have enough or that you're not ready. But perhaps you're not waiting for the right position. Perhaps you're already in it. Esther was reminded that she had come to her position "for such a time as this." What if God is reminding you of the same thing? What if the season you're struggling to get through is actually the one God is using to transform you? In this episode of Let It B, I sit down with nonprofit founder LaShonda J., founder of The Royal Butterfly, for a powerful conversation about healing, transformation, and trusting God through life's most difficult seasons. Together, we explore the beautiful parallel between the life cycle of a butterfly and our own faith journey. Just as a butterfly must go through the hidden, uncomfortable process of the cocoon before it can fly, God often does His greatest work in the quiet seasons of our lives when we can't yet see what He's preparing us for. LaShonda shares her story of losing both of her parents at a young age, walking through grief, battling feelings of not belonging, and navigating seasons of deep pain. Through it all, we see how God faithfully redeemed her story and used what once hurt her to become a source of hope for others. We also discuss how Romans 8:28 comes to life in real time that God truly works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. What once felt like brokenness has now become the foundation for a ministry that serves children and families experiencing hardship. In this episode, we talk about: Healing from childhood wounds Trusting God during seasons of transition The beauty of the "cocoon" season Finding purpose in your pain Overcoming feelings of rejection and not belonging God's faithfulness through grief and loss The mission behind The Royal Butterfly and how it's bringing hope to children and families Whether you're walking through a difficult season, waiting on God, or wondering if your story still has purpose, this conversation is a reminder that God never wastes our pain. Your current season may not be the end of your story it may be the very place where God is preparing you for what's next. Welcome back to Season 6 of Let It B the Podcast! In this vulnerable episode, Bre opens up about the last eight months why she stepped away from the podcast, what God has been doing during her season of sabbatical, and how she has been navigating an identity crisis. What do you do when God answers the very prayers you've been praying, but you don't feel equipped to walk through the doors He's opened? How do you overcome imposter syndrome, the fear of being perceived, and the pressure to prove yourself? And how do you embrace the person God is calling you to become without allowing your past to define you? In this episode, Bre shares her personal testimony of wrestling with identity, learning to show up boldly in a new season, and discovering that your confidence isn't found in your qualifications—it's found in Christ. She also opens up about the weight of always being "the strong friend," why she took a break from ministry, and how close she came to walking away from the podcast altogether. If you're in a season of transition, feeling uncertain about your next step, or struggling to embrace the answered prayers God has placed before you, this conversation is for you. Be reminded that you are not disqualified because of your past, you don't have to seek validation from the world, and you don't have to compare your journey to anyone else's. God is the One who qualifies you, and your assignment is too important to lose sight of by focusing on someone else's. In this episode, we discuss: Navigating an identity crisis Walking confidently in your God-given identity Overcoming imposter syndrome and the fear of being perceived Showing up in seasons of answered prayer Why your past doesn't disqualify you The danger of comparison and seeking validation Trusting God when you feel unqualified Keeping your eyes on your God-given assignment Scripture References: Ezekiel 28:13-17 James 3:1-18 Matthew 28:19-20 John 10:10 Zechariah 4:6 John 15:1-17 Matthew 25:14-30 Ecclesiastes 11:4-6 Ephesians 2:8-10 If this episode encouraged you, be sure to like, subscribe, and share it with someone who may need this reminder today. As always, remember: nothing is wasted when it's surrendered to God.

What if the detours in your life weren't delays but divine direction? In this season finale episode of Let It B, I reflect on how Romans 8:28 has been the foundation and recurring theme of my life. What once felt like setbacks, interruptions, and unanswered prayers were actually the very things God was using to strengthen my faith, refine my character, and realign my trust in Him. In this vulnerable conversation, I open up about the many detours I've traveled, the moments where I almost didn't make it through the season, times I felt abandoned by people I thought would walk with me, and seasons where I came close to giving up altogether. I share how I had to move out of my own place, return to living with family, and wrestle with disappointment, uncertainty, and doubt. Yet through it all, God remained faithful. This episode explores why God allows detours, the value of staying present in the season you're in, and how learning to appreciate where you are often unlocks what's next. Drawing from the story of Joseph, I reflect on how every detour prepared him for the promise and how God is often equipping us for something we cannot yet see. You'll be reminded that God cares more about the posture of your heart than what you produce, that His promises will always come to pass, and that whether we get to participate in them often depends on our obedience and willingness to trust Him. The narrow gate isn't easy but it leads to life. This reflective episode is for anyone who can't yet see how everything will work together for good. It's an invitation to look back, recognize where God has been, steward the season you're in well, and keep pursuing Him with faith. God is a way maker, a promise keeper, and proof that nothing absolutely nothing was wasted. In this episode, I am sitting down with my friend and former life group leader, Rebecca, for an open conversation about what it truly means to be a vessel for the Kingdom of God. Together, we unpack how our gifts and talents are meant to serve God both inside and outside of the church, and how discovering our calling often begins with simple obedience. We talk about identifying our gifts, stewarding them well, and learning to trust God with the process of purpose. Rebecca shares her experience growing up in church, navigating church hurt, and finding her flow again as God continues to use her in ministry and in everyday life. We also explore the parable of the talents, the power of community, and how genuine relationships can challenge us to grow and mature in our faith. If you've ever wondered how your gifts connect to God's purpose for your life, this conversation will encourage you to lean in, listen, and allow God to lead. In this episode, I'm opening up about what it really means to be the hands and feet of Jesus to serve others with a genuine heart, but also to allow others to serve you. For a long time, I thought serving meant always being the strong one, the helper, the giver. But God has been teaching me that it's okay to be on the receiving end too. Sometimes letting others show up for you is part of how He reminds you that you're seen, loved, and cared for. In today's world, so many of us are trying to hold it all together, and truthfully, we all need a little help sometimes. I want to talk about the beauty of both sides what it looks like to give selflessly and what it means to receive without shame. In this episode, I'll share: How we can show up for others in simple, intentional ways Why serving doesn't always look "big" sometimes it's just being present How to let others help you without guilt or pride What it means to reflect the love of Jesus in everyday life This is a vulnerable conversation, but it's one I believe so many of us need right now. Because being the hands and feet of Jesus isn't just about doing it's about becoming. In this episode, we're diving deep into what it truly means to have intimacy with God. I open up about a recent revelation that exposed why I was feeling distant from Him and how God invited me back into deeper connection. I'll walk you through practical steps that helped me rebuild closeness with God from prayer, worship, and quiet time, to fasting, reading Scripture, and surrounding yourself with community. I also share personal tools and resources like books, Bible verses, and worship music that helped me get realigned spiritually and emotionally. If you've been struggling to hear God's voice or wondering how to experience His presence again, this episode offers a fresh perspective and encouragement for your journey. Even if you're just starting to explore faith or don't have a personal relationship with God yet this conversation is for you too. In this episode of Let It B the Podcast, host Bre Fergie sits down with Pastor DeSonte Cole of Embassy City Church for a powerful and transparent conversation about surrendering to God's call and walking boldly in your purpose. Pastor DeSonte shares how a near-death experience opened his eyes and led him to fully give his life to Christ, revealing the power of obedience and transformation through faith. Together, they explore the beauty and challenge of following Jesus wholeheartedly learning to trust God through uncertainty, discern His voice, and find peace in surrender. This episode also dives into the balance between ministry and family, the heart posture of servanthood and humility, and how letting go of your own plans allows God to shape you into who He created you to be. Whether you're a believer seeking encouragement or someone curious about what a real relationship with Jesus looks like, this episode offers an honest and inspiring look at faith, purpose, and spiritual growth. I can't believe we reached 50 EPISODES of Let It B The Podcast!! In this milestone episode, I open up about the power of sharing our testimonies; how mine has shaped my life, strengthened my faith, and reminded me that even in the struggles, God is still writing my story. I talk about the challenges I still face as a believer, how I've learned to trust God through them, and why our stories matter more than we realize. I also share a portion of my very first speaking engagement, The Power of Your Testimony. In it, I reflect on how the very things I once wanted to hide are now what God uses to reveal His faithfulness. Sharing isn't always easy, but it's a reminder that we're never alone and that our stories can inspire others to keep going. My prayer is that as you hear mine, you'll find the courage to embrace yours and see the beauty and purpose in your journey. ============================= Referenced Scriptures: Ephesians 3:20 Galatians 6:9 Matthew 17:20 Philippians 1:6 John 3:16-18 Matthew 6:28 JOIN OUR BIBLE STUDY!!!!
Have you ever asked yourself “How do I know God loves me?” Or "What is love?" "How does God love us? And how are we supposed to love others the way He does?" For so long, I thought love was something that had to be proven like an action, a sign, a “yes” to my prayers. When things didn't happen the way I wanted, I felt overlooked, like maybe I wasn't enough and sometimes unloved, especially by God. But what I've learned is that God's love isn't something we earn or wait for it's a constant presence, a dwelling place and a pursuit. In this episode, I share how God has always revealed His love to us not just through Scripture or people/relationships, provision and answered prayers but also through moments of correction sometimes rejection and most importantly His compassion even when we're undeserving. My prayer is that as you listen, you'll begin to see the ways He's been pursuing you all along and feel inspired to show that same love and compassion to others. I also talk about the role and responsibilities of a “Christian” and how we should always be a reflection of God's love. This might ruffle a few feathers but there's only one truth and Jesus showed us The Way. If God cares about the birds in the sky and the flowers in the field, how much more do you think He cares about you? That passage is something many of us have read in scripture but have you actually put that into perspective? Can you honestly name a time that you were in need and God left you hanging? As we enter into the holiday season, it can be met with many highs and lows. Some of us are already worried about day to day life and the holidays can add more pressure. One thing I know about worrying is that it robs us of our peace. In this episode I open up about a revelation that God gave me when it comes to trusting in His provision. I share insight on what it looks like when God provides. I talk about the importance of stewardship, contentment, addressing greed, pride and the value of generosity. I can't believe we made it to 33 Episodes! When I first started Let It B, I had no idea what taking a step out in faith would produce. In this episode, I talk about the gift of time and preparation season before we see the promises of God. I open up about the weight and the responsibility that comes with being a “minister of the Gospel”. I talk about how I overcome fears, doubt and insecurities of being a podcaster, fighting the urge to quit and how I embrace being set apart. I also talk about the dangers of influencers and how important it is for you to know the word for yourself. I pray that in the episode you not only feel encouraged to keep pushing forward, but that you also see that you are not alone in your struggles. Most people don't know how to suffer well. What I mean by that is knowing how to walk through hard seasons WITH God instead of believing that He isn't with you. In this episode I talk about seeing God in the hills and valleys of life. It's so easy to see the goodness of God when He is blessing you and answering your prayers. But what about when things are tough and it's hard to see His faithfulness. Will you still say God is Good? I open up about mental health struggles as a believer. I talk about how I used therapy, scripture and prayer as a resource. I also talk about how to see God in seasons of uncertainty, the power of resilience, restoration, God's promises and more. I even share resources and scriptures to help you navigate the valley seasons. There's something about the valley seasons that God does His best work in us and through us. I also recognize that God empathizes with us when we are in a valley season. He cares about our mental health. He cares about our well being. He is always working things together no matter what it looks like. That's why He's always good! This may serve as a wake up call for some or an invitation to others, either way I pray that you hear it with love and that it blesses you beyond measure. ============================= Scriptures Mentioned: Genesis 37 John 16 : 33 1 Peter 5 : 10 Philippians 4 : 6 - 7 Matthew 6 : 34 Ephesians 6 : 12 Hebrews 4 : 12 Isaiah 55 : 11 Romans 8 : 28 Psalm 30 : 5 Hebrews 10 : 23 1 Peter 5 : 7 Find Let It B the Playlist HERE: https://linktr.ee/BreFergie YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/dAxHfs7_luw

In this week's episode, The Health Curator teaches you everything you need to know about starting to run, and creating a running practice. "Running has been absolutely transformative--for me, it has become the ultimate practice to master the Body/Mind." There are three parts of a running practice: PRE, RUN, POST. Pre-Run: The Health Curator talks gear, hydration, fuel, and stretching. She personally uses Addias Ultraboosts (a neutral shoe), Gymshark Camo Seamless leggings, and a Spibelt. Run: Focus on your breath. Controlled breath = controlled body= good, easy run. Wim Hof breathing is a good additional practice, if your breath is ragged. Focus on Form. Check out @runrx on Instagram, who will help you run pain free. (post link coming soon) SPM: Steps/Strikes per minute. The ideal number is said to be 180. This keeps you from reaching, but is also something to work up to. You can add SPM tracking to an apple watch, or use a metronome. Songs that help: Take on Me, AHA! and Paper Planes, MIA. Playlist: Get The Health Curator's Playlist HERE. And, when the run gets tough, which some runs will, take off the headphones and meditate. POST: Raise your hands with the dang win. You did it. Celebrate your healing and mastery. Stretch and foam roll. Hydrate: all the water, you earned it. Fuel: don't eat junk, please. Your body worked hard. Fuel her with whole foods. Epsom Salt Baths: Take a bath before bed, then stretch again. This will reduce soreness. Thank you for listening. Drop any questions you may have @thehealthcurator on instagram. If you are interested in having The Health Curator as your personal healing guide/coach, click here. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/inlightin/support
