Passage: 5 When he realizes his guilt in any of these and confesses the sin he has committed, 6 he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation for the sin that he has committed, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering. And the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin. 7 But if he cannot afford a lamb, then he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation for the sin that he has committed two turtledoves or two pigeons, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. 8 He shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer first the one for the sin offering. 11 But if he cannot afford two turtledoves or two pigeons, then he shall bring as his offering for the sin that he has committed a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering. (Leviticus 5:5-11) Song: Lamb of God by Andi Rozier, Jason Ingram, and Meredith Andrews Lyrics: You came from heaven's throne Acquainted with our sorrow To trade the debt we owe Your suff'ring for our freedom The Lamb of God in my place Your blood poured out my sin erased It was my death You died I am raised to life Hallelujah the Lamb of God My name upon Your heart My shame upon Your shoulders The pow'r of sin undone The cross for my salvation There is no greater love There is no greater love The Savior lifted up There is no greater love Prayer: O Lord, let not your law be a cursing to our consciences, but rather give us grace under this extreme and heavy burden of sin, to be fully persuaded, that you by your death have taken away all our sins, and fulfilled the law for us, and by this means have delivered us from the curse of the law and paid our ransom; and then we, being thus fully persuaded, may have quiet and settled hearts, and a free conscience, and glad desiring wills to forsake this wicked world. Amen. — Henry Smith
Passage: 1 We want you to know, brothers and sisters, about the grace of God that was given to the churches of Macedonia: 2 During a severe trial brought about by affliction, their abundant joy and their extreme poverty overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part. 3 I can testify that, according to their ability and even beyond their ability, of their own accord, 4 they begged us earnestly for the privilege of sharing in the ministry to the saints, 5 and not just as we had hoped. Instead, they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us by God's will. 6 So we urged Titus that just as he had begun, so he should also complete among you this act of grace. 7 Now as you excel in everything — in faith, speech, knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love for us — excel also in this act of grace. 8 I am not saying this as a command. Rather, by means of the diligence of others, I am testing the genuineness of your love. 9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ: Though he was rich, for your sake he became poor, so that by his poverty you might become rich. 10 And in this matter I am giving advice because it is profitable for you, who began last year not only to do something but also to want to do it. 11 Now also finish the task, so that just as there was an eager desire, there may also be a completion, according to what you have. 12 For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have. 13 It is not that there should be relief for others and hardship for you, but it is a question of equality. 14 At the present time your surplus is available for their need, so that their abundance may in turn meet your need, in order that there may be equality. 15 As it is written: The person who had much did not have too much, and the person who had little did not have too little. -- 2 Corinthians 8:1-15 (CSB) Song: Blessed (https://open.spotify.com/track/0Me2VvbdQoSVn9YaVqWUKg?si=ca3a1289941d46be) by Andi Rozier, Jason Ingram, Jud Harris, and Vanessa Dalrymple Lyrics: Blessed are the poor in spirit Blessed are the ones in need For every thirst and every hunger You are everything Blessed are the worn and weary Blessed are the ones who grieve And every moment unexpected You are everything To seek You is to find You And to know You is to want You And I want nothing more than You To see You is to love You And I can't believe I get to And I want nothing more than You Blessed is the mercy giver Blessed is the way of peace I will trust Your heart and head You are everything Yes I will trust Your heart and head You are everything Take this world Give me Jesus Take this life Give me Yours In every season You are the blessing Jesus You are my reward Oh and I want nothing more than You Oh I want nothing more than You Prayer: O God, your never-failing providence sets in order all things both in heaven and on earth: Put away from us all hurtful things, and give us those things that are profitable for us; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Opening Song: Upon Him (https://open.spotify.com/track/0cTgArCod9WdrcwApDfe11?si=84665c74fc5543f6) by Andi Rozier, Jon Guerra, and Matt Redman Lyrics: Upon a hill a perfect Saviour Upon that day the greatest love The punishment that should have fallen on us Upon Him upon Him Upon His head a crown of thorns Upon His heart a broken world The wage of sin the weight of our transgressions Upon Him upon Him Christ has died We are forgiven And Christ alive We are the risen And He shall come again Praise the King Praise the King Upon our hearts His name is written The King of Kings and Lord of Lords We're pouring out a song of praise together Upon Him upon Him One name upon our lips Jesus No greater name than this Jesus And ev'ry knee will bow Ev'ry heart confess Jesus Jesus Passage: 33 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, speak to your people and say to them, If I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from among them, and make him their watchman, 3 and if he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows the trumpet and warns the people, 4 then if anyone who hears the sound of the trumpet does not take warning, and the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet and did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But if he had taken warning, he would have saved his life. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand. 7 “So you, son of man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. 8 If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 9 But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, that person shall die in his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul. Why Will You Die, Israel? 10 “And you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, Thus have you said: ‘Surely our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we rot away because of them. How then can we live?' 11 Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel? He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake! 2 The Lord is great in Zion; he is exalted over all the peoples. 3 Let them praise your great and awesome name! Holy is he! 4 The King in his might loves justice.[a] You have established equity; you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob. 5 Exalt the Lord our God; worship at his footstool! Holy is he! 6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel also was among those who called upon his name. They called to the Lord, and he answered them. 7 In the pillar of the cloud he spoke to them; they kept his testimonies and the statute that he gave them. 8 O Lord our God, you answered them; you were a forgiving God to them, but an avenger of their wrongdoings. 9 Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the Lord our God is holy! Musical Reflection: “Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us,” tune by William Bradbury Reflection Notes: The tune BRADBURY is named for its composer, a New Englander from the first half of the nineteenth century. The sweet melody for the verses repeats, then is followed by a strong refrain. Prayer: O Lord our God, teach us, we ask you, to ask you aright for the right blessings. Steer the vessel of our life toward yourself, you tranquil haven of all storm-tossed souls. Show us the course wherein we should go. Renew a willing spirit within us. Let your Spirit curb our wayward senses, and guide and enable us unto that which is our true good, to keep your laws, and in all our works evermore to rejoice in your glorious and gladdening presence. For yours is the glory and praise from all your saints, for ever and ever. Amen. -Basil the Great

With decades of experience leading worship and writing and releasing music with Vertical Worship, Andi Rozier currently serves as the director of 24/7 Prayer and Worship Pastor at New Life Church's East congregation in Colorado Springs, CO. In this episode, Aaron sits down for a conversation with Andi about wisdom on navigating ministry/difficult transitions, and what it means to water the pasture in front of you and why home is the real prize. 10,000 Fathers & Mothers (10KFAM) exists to raise and release spiritual mothers and fathers who creatively shape the future of the church. We nurture worship leaders who lead songs into worship pastors who lead people. It's good to have teachers – to get information – but who is building and transforming you? Who is investing in you and walking with you? At 10KFAM, we have the pleasure of leading two distinct communities of worship leaders through Worship School and Mere Worship. We are also uniquely positioned to offer Strategic Support to churches and ministries in their worship contexts.
Pastor Katy Warren preaches on Genesis and placing trust in God to guide us where we're meant to go. Trust takes courage. God is willing to take a risk in trusting us so maybe one of the miracles of our faith is hearing the whispers of the promises of God and believing God is worthy of our trust. In today's devotional, we're going to take time to simply focus on how trustworthy our heavenly Father is. Our trust is always meant to be a response to God's trustworthiness, an act of love given as we receive the unconditional, life-changing love of God. May our hearts be filled with greater measures of trust as we make space for God to fill. Our Scripture for today comes from Psalm 9:10, and today's worship is This We Know by Vertical Church Band feat. Andi Rozier. First15 is a daily devotional written and recorded by Craig Denison.
