Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Roundtable Recaps with your Challenge Fandom Podcast hosts Rick, Corrina, Katie and Tony. This week we are back to recap all the important parts of the first 3 episodes of MTV's The Challenge All Stars 5: Rivals. We are back this season with a whole new recap format and we hope this leaves more room for you, as the listener, to get involved with our recaps and social media content. We are also hoping that changing up our format will bring a freshness to your ears and our minds. Kicking things off we catch up for about 5 minutes and then Rick explains our new format, how it's going to work and how you (the listener) can get involved! We start the recap around 8 minutes in with our first segment where we debate the best and worth Rival pairings and how we are feeling about co-ed teams playing against non-co-ed teams. Around 26 minutes we move into Segment 2 and discuss the opening daily challenge on episode 1 and whether or not it was a good way to open a Rivals themed season. For segment 3 we move into episode 2 and discuss the daily challenge including which teams shocked us the most, whether or not this is the worst daily in history and should there be guaranteed incentive to come in first place mixed with a penalty of some sort for coming in last? From there we move on to segment 4 where we discuss the first eliminaton of the season with Adam and Steve VS Beth and Jonna in a recreated elimination we first saw Bananas and Theo compete in on The Challenge 40, with minor adjustments. Then we move into the Sylvia VS Kellyanne fight that closed out episode 2 and discuss who was in the wrong (if anyone), our thoughts on the dogs vs kids discussion and we also spill some tea from Frank's IG Live right after episode 3. Finally for our last few segments, we break down episode 3 starting with the daily challenge and whether or not the obstacle course was difficult enough, how we felt about the second elimination of the season with Adam and Steve taking out Sylvia and Kellyanne in a strength based elimination and of course, we had to debate the Ashley Mitchell VS Aneesa argument that was given to us at the end of episode 3 including how we think Aneesa would have handled the situation if the roles were reversed. We finally close out the show with our MVP (this might be the first time in history that we've all agreed on an MVP), overall season grade thus far and last minute thoughts. Good Morning Angels and Pick n Pay came to the aid of Aneesa Kaynie, who was shot while six months pregnant with her five-year-old miracle daughter, Imani. The strength and resilience of Aneesa and her daughters are truly inspiring. Pick n Pay wants to support this family so they can look forward to the festive season rather than worry about expenses. Pick n Pay will assist Aneesa with grocery vouchers for December and January to the value of R10,000. They can also do some clothing and stationery shopping for Skylar, who will be starting high school next year. Additionally, Pick n Pay will contribute another R40,000 to help relieve some of Aneesa's financial burdens. The Good Morning Angels Fund will assist Aneesa and her girls with an additional R40,000 towards new year expenses for Skylar, as well as medical assistance for little Imani.

We all have stories to tell, and we all have a right to tell them... but on social media, sometimes it feels like we have to do it in a specific way. Because if we don't use the perfect words and the right framing, we risk a small but vocal cohort of other disability parents and disabled adults coming into our space, monitoring our content, and sometimes harassing us through comments and messages. And it goes without saying that this kind of behavior is not okay and can actually cause long-term harm for both parents and their medically complex and disabled children. In this episode, I'm joined by Alyssa Nutile share thoughts from Erica Stearns, Hailey Adkisson, and Suzi Boubion, as well as our own commentary, on why you're allowed to share your story on your terms, the benefits of sharing, and the harm that comes with being silenced and isolated. Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Roundtable Recap with your Challenge Fandom Podcast host team of Rick, Corrina, Katie, Alexis and Josh plus we are joined this week with one of our good friends from The Challenge 40, Kyland Young of Era 4. This week we break right into the episode with a couple of small discussions around how we are feeling about the hookups this season, our episode grades, Jenny and Aneesa's conversation and of course the closure on Josh and Tori's feud. Then we break into the daily and discuss everything from the silly armbands to questioning why it's necessary to put these Challengers in physical danger for the show to be good? We break down a few of the questions including one that we felt was a bit unfair as The Challenge has never given official titles for winner formats. By this time Kyland joins us and breaks down some things we didn't see in the edit and discusses why it was actually a positive to have an odd number of players in this daily, and did we see all of the sudden death round? Next we break into the bar scenes with Jordan coaching Nia on how to suck up to Bananas and in turn, Bananas refusing to stalemate for Derrick and Derrick drawing up battle plans in an attempt to save Era 1 from going into cardiac arrest. We also break down the odd Era 2 team meeting, were the living conditions as bad as people were saying and why is it smarter to keep Jordan and Nia on your good side at this point of the game? Finally we turn the tables over to Kyland fully and allow him to recount step by step exactly what happened in the Horacio VS Derrick Kosinski elimination including things we weren't shown and he even includes his own assessment of what happened and how he feels about the whole situation. Before he takes off he gives a bit of backstory on how he felt when Josh revoked his act of volunteering once it came time for the elimination winners to pick new targets. Folks, MTV gave me the opportunity to talk to Aneesa after his elimination on Battle of the Eras Episode 4. I will note that I only had 15–20 minutes to work with, so a lot of questions that I wasn't able to get to. This week's episode is not only entertaining, it's also so educational.  Aneesa Muthana is a fantastic storyteller with a unique road into her roles.   Aneesa is the CEO of both Pioneer Service and M&M Quality Grinding, companies she took over from multiple family members and built to the successful organizations they are today. M&M produces precision centerless ground bar stock and Pioneer Services provides precision machining.   Aneesa tells the stories of how she took over each company more than 20 years apart. When her son Jeremiah was first born, Aneesa had no medical training or experience. But as it became clear that something was out of the ordinary with Jeremiah’s health, she did what so many of us do when our kids need support: she started advocating and asking questions. Eventually through her research and advocacy, her son was diagnosed with a rare life-limiting mitochondrial disease, TK2D. In this episode of The Rare Life, Aneesa shares the new skills she had to learn as she was thrust into the medical world, the grim prognosis her family received about Jeremiah, and the bright spots that keep them going. Aneesa also shares why she’s so passionate about documenting Jeremiah’s life and how she’s raising her other three boys in addition to her medically-complex son.
