By way of NYC, Berlin and before that Moscow, vinyl only techno DJ, producer and record label owner Mary Yuzovskaya has been cultivating her unique orbit in the electronic dance music firmament for over 14 years. Having graced the decks of all Moscow's hotspots back in the mid-2000s, Mary moved to Berlin, where she became recognised for both her blisteringly-precise vinyl-only techno sets and her painstakingly professional approach to the craft of DJing. After relocating to NYC in 2013 Mary quickly became a key figure in the US scene, performing regularly at different venues including multiple residencies at some of the city's institutional parties like Unter, where she was a staple for three years, as well as working as a vinyl distribution manager at renowned Brooklyn-based record shop Halcyon. Back in Berlin since 2020, Mary solely runs her very own record label called @monday-off , launched in 2017, where she curates and presses work from artists that explore techno's trippier, more hypnotic side. Maintaining the connection with North America, she currently holds a residency at Public Records club in Brooklyn. Mary has been busily traveling the world and performing her unique take on techno music's deeper vibes at many noted clubs and parties across the world, including ://about blank, Arma 17, Basement (NY), Compound (LA), Distillery (Leipzig), Kablys (Vilnus), OHM (Berlin), Output (Brooklyn), Propaganda (Moscow), and Tresor, to name only a few. Her productions are released on such labels as Semantica, System Revival as well as her own Monday Off imprint. Gerald is the founder and mastermind behind the infamous MEAT MARKET parties in Vienna, Austria's thriving capital city. For almost a decade he has been running an outrageous amount of techno nights, all of which are well rooted in the LGBTIQ+ community. Being a DJ first and a producer second, Gerald's main ambition is to travel and play his favorite music in front of audiences all around the globe. His sets explore various genres of electronic music, while maintaining the balanced energy to keep a dancefloor busy for hours. With gigs in clubs like MMA Munich, Distillery Leipzig and (his favorite place on earth) Berghain Berlin, Gerald made a name for himself as a performer and music lover, who would give his life to safe a punter's night out. In 2017 Gerald started the label MEAT RECORDINGS with his fellow musicians MATT MOR and SPECIFIC OBJECTS. The imprint specializes in pret a dancer techno music with a focus on quality and groove. MEAT RECORDINGS is also responsible for soundtrack of the movie NEVRLAND, which will hit theatres around the world in winter 2019. The label has seen twelve releases so far, five of which have also been published on vinyl. Watch out for more releases in the very new future. #205 of our podcast series by @bronko_cb! Tracklist: 01. Stereocalypse - Blue Dome Escargot 02. Toto Chiavetta - Analog Suite 03. The Drifter - Three Words Max 04. Ron Albrecht began his musical career in the early nineties. Regular at Berghain, Tresor, Distillery Leipzig, UKW Rostock, Bassiani Tiflis, Lehmann Stuttgart and so on . This is a recording from a live set in 2009 I was invited to play my classic tunes at the 17th anniversary party of legendary Distillery club in Leipzig/ Germany and decided to revamp the music to today's standards. So this is all at a 125 bpm speed, even those fast LoopZone tracks that used to be beyond 150 bpm back in the days. The set is also a bit wild and loose, you can really feel how nervous I act in the beginning. But as the music goes and as the crowd gave more and more love to me, I warmed up and the "Schöneberg"-version at the end is totally X-rated heat ;-) Big thanks to the great staff and crowd at Distillery Leipzig, they really made me want to play live on a regular level again. For the spec war sharks amongst you: I've been using Ableton Live 8 on a MacBook, a Vestax VCM-600 controller, Yamaha RS7000, Korg nanoPad, Korg Kaossilator, MFB Synth Lite II, Boss VT-1, a Shure microphone and a small Behringer Mixer. The recording is slightly edited and mastered! And here's the tracklisting: 1. Sex Machine Man 2. The Gap 3. Natural High 4. Timeout 5. Environmentality 6. Don't Panic 7. Love Devotion 8. What Is Space 9.Schöneberg 10. High On Hope

October 2nd 2016 Mijk van Dijk played his first techno liveset of the year at Kassablanca Jena, performing a mix of my music from the last 25 years and also introducing the first EP on my label microglobe productions called "Peace 4 All" which went down like a storm. The motivation for the choice of tracks out of 2 ½ decades (see playlist below) was the party motto of the Rave Strikes Back crew: "25 Jahre House & Techno in Jena". Support on the DJ decks came from my Berlin boy DJ Jauche aka Oliver Marquardt and Jena's own Foch & Mulé. Kassablanca is next to Distillery Leipzig the longest running Techno club in the East of Germany and yet this gig was a first for me. Thanks so much to Kassablanca and the Rave Strikes Back crew. P.S.: If you wonder about the strange project names in my playlist: it's because of even stranger U.S. upload rules: - Maximum 4 tracks by an artist (and max 3 consecutively) - Maximum 3 tracks from an album (and max 2 consecutively)

Christian Fischer with a live set from his homebase! Leipzig original Christian Fischer, DJ and producer for over ten years by now, is renowned for his hybrid and flexible, heavy-hitting yet fragile techno style that oscillates between anthemic house and seminal electro while also embracing the most frantic frequencies. His breathtaking flexibility and scope is down to Christian’s residencies where Fischer honed his skills, amongst them at Leipzig city’s famed Distillery club. Running the successful imprint Definition Records, which has become an integral part of the international techno scene over the years while growing into a varied outlet that has helped to shape the movement, Christian is not one to shy away from stylistic advancement and technical innovation. Being one of the first who embraced new DJing technologies such as Final Scratch, Christian’s melody-driven, uplifting and progressive sets are legendary. Fischer, who jump-started his career on the befriended Statik Entertainment label and has since released celebrated EP on imprints as varied as Craft Music, Patterns, Abyss and Whirlpool Sex, teamed up with colleague DJ Murphy, the sensational turntable talent Fischer unearthed on one of his countless Brazil tours and signed for his label straight away, to produce and play under the moniker Deckmonsters. With their crazy turntable tricks, they are breaking every preconception what a DJ set could be like. They released their first longplayer in 2008, which is now followed by Christian Fischer’s solo debut album “Bryzant Games” out now on Bryzant. It’s time for some risky business: Let’s play Bryzant Games! In his typical easy-going and open-minded, limitless way, Definition Records label boss Christian Fischer strikes back by nonchalantly pulling out a brand new installment of his definition of Maximum Sound of his sleeves. Freely exploring the outer limits of the electronic music universe with his new long-player, it is up to you where you want to take it: to the floor or to extremes! You choose! Whether you prefer techno, electro or minimal, ranging from powerful floor tunage to melodic meltdowns, "Bryzant Games" has it all. Exploring the multi-colored hemispheres of electronic dance music, Christian, sounding stronger and more confident than ever, achieves the remarkable accomplishment of leaving behind stylistic conventions and pigeon-holing in favor of total musicality. Diving into a party cosmos of varicolored possibilities in a pleasantly unbiased fashion, gallant Fischer shows great musical maturity - his multifaceted output reflecting his broad spectrum. To top things off, the East German producer, label owner and DJ cooperated with artists as eclectic as German hiphop singer Sabrina Setlur and UK techno and breaks heroes Slam and Hybrid, the results of which sound amazing. Electroey vocal techno tracks a la "Bitch" compete with groovy electro house workouts that shine because of their excellent minimal sound esthetic, and reduced structures get loaded with funky samples - it’s down to Fischer’s great ability to fuse that everything melts into a smooth whole. Opening a scenic window to keypad landscapes of exuberant lushness, he is recreating the melodic undertone of Detroit by indulging in an abundance of strings and sparkly key chords as demonstrated in "Chiffre" and "Advanced Panorama", and celebrating the absolute rationality techno that sets the scene at the beginning of the album only to drift into vocal-driven, housey dimensions that revive disco in a mainstage fashion, the experienced resident DJ Fischer knows how to please any crowd: by surprising them with the expected, avoiding the all to obvious and sounding completely catchy, all at the same time. The concept of "Bryzant Games" is as simple as it is logical. The sixteen fresh, exciting tracks are split up into four thematic EPs in distinct sound colours aimed to appeal to its respective audience. Delivered in a Vinyl Box the flavours range from crazy club tunage and mind-blowing main stage burners to more eclectic electro sounds, "Bryzant Games" has something for everybody. It’s been a great year for Leipzig-born and bred Christian Fischer who has been at it constantly: His Clubtech Panorama mix compilation was only just going down to much critical acclaim when it was already outmatched by the release of the first ever Deckmonsters album. Produced in conjunction with Brazilian super star DJ Murphy who is the perfect counterpart, the two DJs toured the biggest European electronic music festivals in order to wow the puzzled audience with their turntable antics. It’s incredible that Fischer, at it in his purest essence, still found time in the studio to complete his most accomplished work to date. "Bryzant Games" is a fascinating dance epic that lets the pumping heart skip a beat or two. Game over. Christian Fischer on Facebook

One of the best piece of electronic music published on the Web in the past years. A real marvelous live set, deep, pulsating, hand made, with pure hardware, no laptop or virtual instruments. Here is a comment made by Juno6 (Stefan Schultz) about this live : "I use just a drum machine and a synth, sometimes if i am in the mood to sing (happened only once) I use the mic also. As simple as possible, no computers, no outboard effects or sequencers. I don't like to stand behind the laptop and push the play button if you know what i mean. Nowadays, most live acts are using Ableton or similar software and a midibox to control the midi and audio tracks, so the crowd doesn't know exactly what is going on on the stage, whether it's live or not. I know it depends on the act, how automated it is and how much is played live... But I like to tweak the hell out of my machines, its so much fun! You can say it's live, live" Well Stefan we are awaiting your future works with huge expectation...
