Così il massacro diventa strategia. La fame, una leva. I morti civili, “nessuno è innocente”. Le parole preparano il crimine, lo giustificano, lo ripetono. E cancellano la storia. Le espressioni usate da ministri, analisti e generali raccontano una brutalità che non ha più bisogno di travestimenti. Il ministro dell'Agricoltura Avi Dichter ha dichiarato in tv: “È la Nakba di Gaza”. Il ministro delle Finanze e leader del Partito Sionista Religioso, Bezalel Smotrich, parla apertamente di “spopolamento” come obiettivo bellico. Benjamin Netanyahu definisce l'offensiva “la seconda guerra di indipendenza”. E poi c'è la parola più agghiacciante: “Amaleciti”. Nella Bibbia ebraica, gli Amalek erano un popolo nemico d'Israele che Dio ordinò di sterminare completamente, uomini, donne, bambini e animali compresi. Usarla oggi per indicare i palestinesi significa sacralizzare il genocidio. Raz e Bondy non si limitano a denunciare. Decostruiscono. Perché ogni parola è una prova. Ogni formula ripetuta nei documenti ufficiali è un passo verso l'abisso. L'orrore è iniziato prima delle bombe. È cominciato quando un popolo intero è stato riscritto come bersaglio. A much talented purveyor of widescreen electronic epics and mind-expanding techno sceneries, Vera Logdanidi has been trading some of the finest dubs out there, including some outstanding pieces of work for Rhythm Büro, Semantica or On Board Music. All in spacious reverbs and atmospheric deconstructionism, her mixes as much as her own productions seek diffuse effect rather than impactful punch, altering mindsets through carefully orchestrated movements rather than flexing muscles. An origami-like unfolding of mesmerising sequences, ushering us amidst lush forests of sound and distinctive emotional apexes, Vera's mix is a safe, welcoming haven, here to harbour us from the surrounding crass that threatens to devour the last crumbs of peace and solace in our hearts. 

Mary Yuzovskaya's mix for Delayed captures her defining approach to techno: raw, hypnotic, and unhurried. As a vinyl-only DJ with roots in Berlin's techno underground and a significant stretch in New York's scene, she shapes her music with precision, offering an hour-long set that feels both intimate and intense. This mix is crafted for those who get lost in the beat, whether booming from Berghain's Funktion-One system or spinning in your headphones on a midnight walk. During her years in NYC, Mary's sound took on new depth, honed through a three-year residency with the Unter collective and work at Brooklyn's Halcyon record shop, where she later launched her label, Monday Off. Julia Govor is one of those artists who can take the fundamentals of techno and make it sound hers. At this point in her career, the Georgia-born, New York City-based artist has established a style that feels half-Rome school, half Japanese hypnotic techno, but fully Julia Govor. Her label Jujuka has become a home for the stuff, featuring plenty of her own work along with like-minded folks like EMIT and Victoria Mussi, and she recently put out the biggest and best release of her career with the hefty Laika And Ulka Were Here on Semantica. Her production style carries over to her DJing. Govor's RA Podcast is made up over half her own tracks, and the cuts she picks from others match her style: twirling arpeggios, rushing cascades of synth, heavy but groovy kicks. Much has been made of her childhood in a military family, and how she fell in love with techno via her classical musical education, where she felt drawn to the darker, romantic shades of composition. You get some of that here, but to call Govor's style "dark" would be overly simplistic. Giuseppe Scaccia also known as D-Leria, a sonic virtuoso in the studio and a chaos creator on the dancefloor, embarked on his DJ journey in 2001. Swiftly transitioning to studio production, he garnered international recognition in Hardcore and became a fixture at major festivals, particularly in the Netherlands. In 2014, he gave life to D-Leria, releasing a series of EPs that served as a canvas for his evolving musical style. This transformative period also saw him take on dual roles as an artist and manager at Delirio record label, where he curated a space for avant-garde talents with a focus on authentic live recording. Relocating to Berlin, Giuseppe immersed himself in new inspirations and devoted five years to meticulously crafting his debut album, 'Driving to Nowhere.' The result was a sonic masterpiece that quickly captivated the attention of electronic music luminaries, including Shifted, Donato Dozzy, Neel, Svreca, Rolando, and many more. D-Leria's artistic trajectory continued to ascend as he found a home in prestigious labels such as Avian, Semantica, Non Series, Aura Dinamica. He contributed to noteworthy compilations, showcasing his style finesse and leaving his mark with remixes, various EPs and collaborative projects. French-based label Cielo Records is a techno project from JC Laurent that has so far been a vessel for his own cutting-edge ideas and diverse taste. Having over ten years of production experience to his name, JC Laurent has released on the likes of Coyu's Suara, Abstract Division's Dynamic Reflection, and Deepak Sharma's Hidden Recordings amongst others. Na Nich is a Ukranian artist who features with the solo remix here and can be found on the mighty Delsin Records, Svreca's Semantica, Viels' End of Perception and his own Rhythm Büro. Starting with "Comet" it's a melting pot of dub techno and modular sound effects with an ethereal, analogue presence. Second up is the "Comet (Na Nich Remix)" which adds an even more dreamy textures to some elements turning it into a dystopian soundscape. "Nothing But An Illusion" steps into a slightly leftfield approach with cyclical tones, shuffling beat and a sci-fi aesthetic. The final track titled "The Switch" is an overall deeper facet of techno that intertwines with a looming intensity. Cutting his lane at the fringe of iron-fisted industrial percussion and intricate dub mind-games, Translate has us diving deep into claustrophobic environments and across mesmerizing layers of FX-soaked dementia. Stormy and highly energetic, his style combines the ruthlessness of uptempo tech assault and eerie, post-apocalyptic audio scenarios. My guest for Episode 56 is Claudio PRC who currently holds a residency at the legendary Tresor in Berlin and runs his own record label called 012.twelve. Ribé is the synthesis of a whole life dedicated to techno, without taboos, without rules, but with rigidity, severity, and an almost sickly desire to create new sounds. That unique sound did not go unnoticed and it was soon selected by some of the most important techno labels of the international scene like Polegroup, Axis and Semantica. Roll Dann, resident at Laster Club, in Madrid.  His sound is supported by labels such as Mord, Soma or Hayes Collective. Roll Dann keeps this firmly focused on the dance floor maintaining power and a firm flow of direction. Since they have very similar musical tastes they wanted to try something new for their artist vision, to look for a different sound… The goal was to find their best version of very minimalist techno. Born and bred in the suburbs of Stockholm, Lakej (Filip Ström) comes from a background in visual arts and graphic design. After many years in this field and some life changing experiences, he felt the need to move on to a more abstract medium. Already being fascinated by electronic music and techno in particular, the dive into production and hardware came natural. With a huge love for details and rhythmic structures his music has evolved into an introspective, futuristic and yet timeless sound. With intricate textures, atmospheres and deep driving rhythms his music invites you to be swept away into hypnotic states, both in comfort of your own listening space as well as on the dance floor. After debuting on the scene in 2017 with a full length EP on Adriana Lopez label Grey Report, his output has been steady with albums, EP's and tracks for different VA releases and remixes on well established labels such as Semantica and NON series. English: Giuseppe started DJing in 2001. A few years later he starts his career in the studio producing Hardcore, achieving international success and performing at big festivals, mainly in Holland. In 2014 he produces something different than usual, something he had been longing for. And so D-Leria emerged releasing several EP's developing his new style, until joining the young label Delirio as musician and manager, hosting artists like Stanislav Tolkackev, Simone Giudice, Retina.it, Key Clef and more, aiming to spread a single message: live recording. In September 2017 he moved to Berlin to find new ideas and continue working on his first album 'Driving to Nowhere', which took five years to produce. For more than ten years now, Robin Koek and Nick Lapien have been creating music together as Artefakt. Since then, they have consistently released music at the intersections of ambient, IDM, techno, with LPs on Svreca's Semantica, Delsin, and Delsin electronica sub-label Ann Aimee in addition to their many EPs. Their next release is 6 track mini album “Floodplain”, landing on the impactful Spanish label Semantica next month. Ranging from brooding ambient on openers and closers “Fugacity” and “Floodplain”, to dance floor-oriented tribal on “Diorama”, “Natura” and “Delta”, the LP showcases the duo's range and further illustrates their commitment to adopt techno “as an art-form rather than a genre.” On “Natant”, we follow the squirming, tenacious bassline's path that is at the forefront of the track, being amplified but never overshadowed by their signature style pad or sturdy kicks. The 3.5-minute track reaches its climax two-thirds of the way in before slowly beginning to disintegrate and letting the bassline say its last words. “Floodplain” comes out on April 7th, 2023 as Semantica's staggering 143rd release. EPM Music celebrate yet another milestone, as they boast their 100th release. To commemorate a century of releases, the team have invited Shed, CYRK, Inigo Kennedy and Works of Intent to remix some tracks from the ‘EPM20' compilation. Today we feature a bass heavy remix from UK techno titan Inigo Kennedy, as the techno pioneer gives a menacing touch to Bryan Chapman's original. For EPMmusic's 100th release the label throw it back to another milestone. Last year, EPM celebrated 20 years in the business of Digital Distribution and Rights Management with a series of vinyl EPs and a compilation on their in-house label. Now the crew enlist Shed, CYRK, Inigo Kennedy and Works of Intent – all artists who we've had the pleasure to work with in the last 2 decades – to remix some of those ‘EPM20' tracks. Today we feature a remix from one of the most influential names in UK techno, Inigo Kennedy. The Asymmetric boss needs little introduction as a key figure in the history of UK techno. Having released under Reducer and Tomito Satori, the UK don has a rich history of classic techno cuts. Inigo's discography stretches to well over 100 releases on vinyl, CD and digitally on established, if not seminal, labels such as Missile, Semantica, Stroboscopic Artefacts and Token. Today we feature Inigo as he returns to EPM with a stellar low-end heavy techno roller. By way of NYC, Berlin and before that Moscow, vinyl only techno DJ, producer and record label owner Mary Yuzovskaya has been cultivating her unique orbit in the electronic dance music firmament for over 14 years. Having graced the decks of all Moscow's hotspots back in the mid-2000s, Mary moved to Berlin, where she became recognised for both her blisteringly-precise vinyl-only techno sets and her painstakingly professional approach to the craft of DJing. After relocating to NYC in 2013 Mary quickly became a key figure in the US scene, performing regularly at different venues including multiple residencies at some of the city's institutional parties like Unter, where she was a staple for three years, as well as working as a vinyl distribution manager at renowned Brooklyn-based record shop Halcyon. Back in Berlin since 2020, Mary solely runs her very own record label called @monday-off , launched in 2017, where she curates and presses work from artists that explore techno's trippier, more hypnotic side. Maintaining the connection with North America, she currently holds a residency at Public Records club in Brooklyn. Mary has been busily traveling the world and performing her unique take on techno music's deeper vibes at many noted clubs and parties across the world, including ://about blank, Arma 17, Basement (NY), Compound (LA), Distillery (Leipzig), Kablys (Vilnus), OHM (Berlin), Output (Brooklyn), Propaganda (Moscow), and Tresor, to name only a few. Laura BCR has her ear to the ground. The French DJ and On Board Music label founder is always on the lookout for new music to spin, or for artists to join her newest INFLUENCES show on Berlin-based Refuge Worldwide. She takes her name from the much-loved and now closed, Berlin record store, Bass Cadet Records, where she spent a couple of years behind the counter. These days, Laura is best known for her transportive, deep techno and dubby ambient DJ sets, which have brought her to some of Europe's finest venues such as residency at Paloma in Berlin. Her own productions first surfaced in 2020 and were included on both of On Board Music's stand-out, charity compilations. She released her debut Initial EP on SoHaSo this year such has contributions to V/As on Semantica or Technologia Organica. More original music is in the works and will see the light very soon.
